Mr. Suchart continued that for those who have not received the money, the Social Security Office will report their personal identification numbers to the employer to inform the relevant employees to link their PromptPay with their ID card number. The Social Security Office will attempt to transfer every following Friday.

“The transfer of compensation to insured persons and employers under government measures this time is aimed to alleviate suffering for workers and entrepreneurs affected by COVID-19. The effort is in line with the intentions of Prime Minister General Prayuth Chan-ocha and the Ministry of Labour under the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, who have seen the hardships and concerns of the workers and entrepreneurs affected by the pandemic. The government will not leave anyone behind so that everyone and every group can move forward and overcome this COVID-19 situation together,” concluded Mr. Suchart.

In this regard, the Social Security Office (SSO) has opened up to employers and insured persons under Sections 33, 39, and 40 to check the information at www.sso.go.th. People with questions can contact the Ministry of Labour’s 1506 hotline available 24 hours daily.
