On March 2, 2020, the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General Mr. Niyom Songkaew and the Department of Skill Developments Inspector-General Mr. Wirat Khansorn, traveled to meet the Kamphaeng Phet Deputy Provincial Governor (Mr. Devan Hutasawi) and attended a meeting with the heads of government departments under the Ministry of Labour in Kamphaeng Phet to follow up on operational results for 2020, for the second time. He also met with civil servants and officials from the Provincial Labour Office to follow up on the performance according to the Office of the Permanent Secretary’s plan for 2020.
The inspection found that agencies under the Ministry of Labour followed the work plan/project under the government/ministry’s policies and that most of the performance is on target. As for the results of the budget disbursement in 2019, the goal has not yet been achieved. The inspection committee gave the department to accelerate the disbursements and gave operational policies. He asked that all civil servants and officials perform their duties with the spirit of being a civil servant, by “doing the right thing” and having “morality” driving policies into action. He asked the departments to give importance to creating an integrated action plan that comes from collaborative thinking from all parties involved for clear projects, activities, targets, indicators, and responsible persons, along with helping and serving the people quickly and with a service mind.
In the afternoon, the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General and committee observed the occupational alleviation project on “flower arrangements and the baisee making course.” He also gave out certificates to trainees at the Nikom Thung Pho Thale Subdistrict Municipality, Mueang Kamphaeng Phet.
