On September 3, 2021, at 13.30 hours, Permanent Secretary of Labour Mr. Suthi Sukosol chaired the Skill Development Promotion Committee Meeting No. 6/2021 at the Somchart Lekalawan Conference Room, 10th Floor, Department of Skill Development. The meeting requested approval as follows:
1) The Skill Development Promotion Committee’s draft announcement on national skill standards qualifications of applicants for the National Skills Standards Test Level 1 – 3, assessment methods for the National Skill Standards, and the issuance of a certificate certifying completion of the National Skill Standard Test Level 1 and the National Skill Standard Test Level 1 in the agro-industrial occupation field, meat product processing quality supervisor branch.
2) The Skill Development Promotion Committee’s draft announcement on national skill standards qualifications of applicants for the National Skills Standards Test Level 2 – 3, assessment methods for the National Skill Standards, and the issuance of a certificate certifying completion of the National Skill Standard Test Level 1 and the National Skill Standard Test Level 2 in the agro-industrial occupation field, bakery product development branch.
3) The Skill Development Promotion Committee’s draft announcement on national skill standards qualifications of applicants for the National Skills Standards Test Level 1 – 2, assessment methods for the National Skill Standards, and the issuance of a certificate certifying completion of the National Skill Standard Test Level 1 and the National Skill Standard Test Level 1 in the electrician, electronics and computers, and industrial robot controller branches.
4) To determine the branches to classify and determine the level of knowledge and competence of professionals and determine the range of wage rates suitable for their level of competence in mechanics and the construction worker branches under section 39(5).
5) The online model competency assessment method and cost of online model competency assessments.
6) Additional measures to assist business operators affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021.
