Content Description

On September 27, 2021, Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin reported the implementation of compensation payments to insured persons under Section 33 in the 13 provinces dark red, comprising Bangkok, Nakhon Pathom, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Samut Prakan, Samut Sakhon, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Narathiwat, Pattani, Yala, and Songkhla. He said that on September 27 to 28, the Social Security Office will transfer money to insured persons under Section 33 comprising 3.02 million people, who will receive compensation of 2,500 Baht each.
Mr. Suchart further said that he would like to emphasize for insured persons who have not received the remedies to hurry and link their PromptPay bank account number to their ID card so that the bank can transfer the money to the PromptPay account. In addition, insured persons who were left out, but are in the relevant areas and have not received compensation, can submit a right to review by downloading the request form to review rights at the Social Security Office’s website at www.sso.go.th. Insured persons must fill out the information completely and send it via registered mail to the Social Security Office in the dark red 29 provinces from now until October 31. For more information, call the 1506 hotline and press 1 for the Social Security Office.
“The transfer of remedies to insured persons under Section 33 in the dark red 13 provinces is 2,500 Baht each. The cash support is not much but will help alleviate and reduce the burden of living expenses and the cost of living in the daily life of workers. The initiative aligns with the Prime Minister and the government’s intention to allow self-employed persons to enter the social security system, receive government compensation, and access future state aid measures so that everyone and every group can access welfare and overcome this COVID-19 situation together,” concluded Mr. Suchart.
