Mr. Suchart said that when this Thai woman arrives in Thailand, she must undergo a 14-day quarantine as prescribed by the Department of Disease Control. The Ministry of Labour will then support finding employment by providing jobs in Sa Kaeo province that meets her needs. As for the prosecution of social media posts that defrauded the Thai woman, the Coordination Center for the Crime Suppression of Job Seekers at the Department of Employment will proceed to find the source of the offender to prosecute under the law. It will also raise awareness to the public to warn Thai workers who wish to work abroad, to do so legally. There are five methods: 1) The Department of Employment as the dispatcher. 2) Using employment agencies for delivery. 3) Employers in Thailand deploying their employees. 4) Employers in Thailand sending their employees to do internships abroad, and 5) Job seekers reporting their travel abroad by themselves. Such workers are encouraged to apply for membership to the fund to help job seekers work abroad because they will be protected by the law, earn reasonable wages, and be taken care of according to their eligible rights.
