วันที่ 12 ตุลาคม 2566 นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน มอบหมายให้ นายไพโรจน์ โชติกเสถียร ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน เป็นผู้แทน มอบเงินช่วยเหลือในการเดินทางกลับภูมิลำเนาแก่แรงงานไทย จำนวน 15 คน จากกองทุนเพื่อช่วยเหลือคนหางานไปทำงานในต่างประเทศ กรณีประสบปัญหาต้องเดินทางกลับประเทศไทยก่อนครบสัญญาจ้างจากเหตุสงคราม รายละ 15,000 บาท ณ สถาบันบำราศนราดูร จังหวัดนนทบุรี โดยมี นพ.ชลน่าน ศรีแก้ว รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงสาธารณสุข และคณะผู้บริหารกระทรวงแรงงาน ร่วมให้การต้อนรับแรงงานไทย
โดยนายไพโรจน์ โชติกเสถียร ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน กล่าวว่า สำหรับแรงงานไทยที่เป็นสมาชิกกองทุนฯ เมื่อกลับมาถึงกระทรวงแรงงานมีการดูแลเรื่องสิทธิประโยชน์ทันที รายละ 15,000 บาท ซึ่งเป็นเงินสงเคราะห์ กรณีประสบปัญหาต้องเดินทางกลับประเทศไทยก่อนครบสัญญาจ้างจากเหตุสงคราม หรือ กรณีทุพพลภาพ จะได้รับการสงเคราะห์ คนละ 30,000 บาท กรณีเสียชีวิตในต่างประเทศ สงเคราะห์จำนวน 40,000 บาท และค่าใช้จ่ายในการจัดการศพในต่าง ประเทศเท่าที่จ่ายจริงไม่เกิน 40,000 บาท นอกจากนี้ยังได้รับสวัสดิการตามกฎหมายของประเทศอิสราเอล (ประกันการทำงาน + นายจ้างจ่าย) กรณีบาดเจ็บ/ พิการตามการรับรองของแพทย์ แบ่งเป็น บาดเจ็บ 10-19% ได้รับเงินก้อนเดียว ประมาณ 1,440,000 บาท บาดเจ็บเกิน 20% ได้รับเงินเดือนทุกเดือน จนกว่าจะเสียชีวิต โดยประเมินจากความสูญเสีย กรณีเสียชีวิตภรรยาและบุตร ได้รับเงินเดือนทุกเดือน จนกว่าภรรยาจะแต่งงานใหม่ และบุตรอายุครบ 18 ปีบริบูรณ์ (ภรรยาเป็นเงิน 34,560 บาทต่อเดือน /บุตร เป็นเงิน 5,760-11,520 บาทต่อเดือน)
On October 12, 2023, the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, assigned the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Phairoj Chotikasatian, as a representative to provide financial assistance to 15 Thai workers returning to their hometowns from the fund to help job seekers working abroad. The support is for the case of encountering problems and having to return to Thailand before the end of the employment contract due to the war. The amount is 15,000 Baht per person. The occasion took place at the Bamrasnaradura Infectious Diseases Institute, Nonthaburi Province. The Minister of Public Health, Dr. Cholnan Srikaew, and the Ministry of Labour executives joined in welcoming the Thai workers.
Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Phairoj Chotikasatian, said that once Thai workers who are members of the fund return, the Ministry of Labour will immediately take care of the benefits, which include 15,000 Baht per person. This is provided when members encounter problems and must return to Thailand before the end of the employment contract due to war. In the case of disability, they will receive assistance of 30,000 Baht per person. For cases of death abroad, members are entitled to 40,000 Baht and funeral expenses overseas as the actual payment does not exceed 40,000 baht. In addition, workers will receive benefits according to the laws of Israel (work insurance + employer pays). In the case of injury/disability, as certified by a doctor, for 10-19% of injuries, members receive a single lump sum of approximately 1,440,000 Baht. Injuries over 20% receive a salary every month until death, evaluated from the loss. In the case of death, the worker’s spouse and children will receive a salary every month until the spouse remarries and children have reached 18 years of age (spouse gets 34,560 Baht per month/children get 5,760-11,520 Baht per month).
