วันที่ 27 กรกฎาคม 2566 เวลา 10.30 น. นายสุชาติ ชมกลิ่น รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน มอบหมายให้ นายบุญชอบ สุทธมนัสวงษ์ ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน เป็นประธานเปิดกิจกรรมจิตอาสากระทรวงแรงงานบำเพ็ญสาธารณประโยชน์ เพื่อเฉลิมพระเกียรติพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว เนื่องในโอกาสวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา 28 กรกฎาคม 2566 โดยมี นายประทีป ทรงลำยอง รองปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน นายวรรณรัตน์ ศรีสุขใส รองปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน พร้อมด้วยผู้บริหารระดับสูง ข้าราชการ และเจ้าหน้าที่หน่วยงานในสังกัดกระทรวงแรงงาน และประชาชนโดยรอบกระทรวงแรงงาน เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมโดยพร้อมเพรียงกัน ณ บริเวณภายในและโดยรอบกระทรวงแรงงาน
นายบุญชอบ กล่าวว่า สำหรับกิจกรรมดังกล่าว กระทรวงแรงงานจัดขึ้น โดยมีบุคลากรกระทรวงแรงงานและประชาชนชุมชนเคหะดินแดง ร่วมเก็บขยะในพื้นที่กระทรวงแรงงาน แยกแยะและทิ้งขยะลงในถังที่เหมาะสม ตัดหญ้าและตัดแต่งต้นไม้ในพื้นที่กระทรวงแรงงานและตัดกิ่งไม้ที่เสียหาย และมีความเสี่ยงที่จะก่อให้เกิดเกิดอันตราย ตลอดจนทำความสะอาดพื้นที่บริเวณภายในกระทรวงแรงงาน ทำความสะอาดคราบสกปรกตามกำแพงรั้ว ซ่อมแซมทางเดินเพื่อให้มีทางเดินที่ปลอดภัยและเป็นระเบียบ เพื่อเฉลิมพระเกียรติและน้อมสำนึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณของพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัว เนื่องในโอกาสวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา 28 กรกฎาคม 2566 ตลอดจนสร้างความเข้มแข็งและความเอื้อเฟื้อของเจ้าหน้าที่กระทรวงแรงงาน รวมทั้งเพื่อปรับปรุงภูมิทัศน์และสภาพแวดล้อมของกระทรวงแรงงานให้สะอาด เป็นระเบียบเรียบร้อย และสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างกระทรวงแรงงานกับประชาชน และเครือข่ายภาคประชาสังคม ก่อให้เกิดความร่วมมือในการดำเนินงานของกระทรวงแรงงานเพื่อตอบสนองนโยบายของรัฐบาลและสอดคล้องกับความต้องการของประชาชนอย่างแท้จริง
“กิจกรรมจิตอาสากระทรวงแรงงานบำเพ็ญสาธารณประโยชน์ในครั้งนี้ เป็นกิจกรรมที่ได้แสดงออกถึงความจงรักภักดีและสำนึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณต่อสถาบันพระมหากษัตริย์และพระบรมวงศานุวงษ์ ตลอดจนการสร้างจิตสำนึกให้คนไทยรู้จักการให้ แบ่งปัน มีจิตอาสา มีความเสียสละ อุทิศตนเพื่อประโยชน์ส่วนรวมมีความกตัญญูตอบแทนบุญคุณแผ่นดิน ร่วมทำความดีโดยไม่หวังผลตอบแทน และไม่เห็นต่อประโยชน์ส่วนตน” นายบุญชอบ กล่าวท้ายสุด
On July 27, 2023, at 10.30 hours, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, assigned the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, to preside over the opening of the Ministry of Labour’s volunteer activities for public service to honour His Majesty the King on the occasion of His Majesty the King’s birthday on July 28, 2023. The Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Prateep Songlamyong, the Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Wannarat Srisuksai, the Ministry of Labour’s senior executives, government officials, and staff under the Ministry of Labour, and the people around the Ministry of Labour, joined the activities together within and around the Ministry of Labour’s ground.
Mr. Boonchob said that the Ministry of Labour had organized the activities whereby the Ministry of Labour’s staff and people from the Din Daeng Housing Community collected waste in the Ministry of Labour’s area, sorting and disposing of the waste in appropriate bins. They also mowed the grass and trimmed the trees in the Ministry of Labour’s area, cutting down damaged branches with risks of causing dangers and cleaning the area within the Ministry of Labour. They cleaned the fence walls and repaired corridors to provide safe and orderly walkways. The activities were in honour and appreciation of His Majesty the King on the occasion of His Majesty’s birthday on July 28, 2023. The activities aim to strengthen and boost the courtesy of the Ministry of Labour’s staff and improve the Ministry of Labour’s landscape and environment to be clean and tidy. It also aims to build good relations between the Ministry of Labour, the people, and civil society networks, to create cooperation in the Ministry of Labour’s operations in response to government policies and line with the needs of the people.
“The Ministry of Labour’s volunteer activities for public services show loyalty and gratitude towards the monarchy and the royal family. It also creates awareness for Thai people to know how to give, share, volunteer, sacrifice, dedicate themselves to the common good and be grateful to the land. It encourages people to do good deeds without expecting anything in return and to not look at their interests,” concluded Mr. Boonchob.
