วันที่ 7 มีนาคม 2567 นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน มอบหมายให้ นายอารี ไกรนรา เลขานุการรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน ลงพื้นที่จังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ เปิดงาน “สร้างงาน และเส้นทางสู่อาชีพ@เซราะกราวบุรีรัมย์” โดยมี นายเดชา พฤกษ์พัฒนรักษ์ รองปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน นายสมชาย มรกตศรีวรรณ อธิบดีกรมการจัดหางาน กล่าวรายงาน นายปิยะ ปิจนำ รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ ว่าที่ร้อยตรีสมชาย ละอองทอง นักวิชาการแรงงานชำนาญการพิเศษ รักษาราชการแทนจัดหางานจังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ พร้อมด้วยหัวหน้าส่วนราชการสังกัดกระทรวงแรงงานในจังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ให้การต้อนรับ ณ ห้องประชุมคอนเวนชั่นฮอลล์ โรงแรมอัลวาเรซ อำเภอเมืองบุรีรัมย์ จังหวัดบุรีรัมย์
นายอารี ไกรนรา เลขานุการรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน เปิดเผยว่า จังหวัดบุรีรัมย์โดดเด่นด้านการเป็นเมืองแห่งกีฬา มีสนามฟุตบอลและสนามแข่งรถที่ได้มาตรฐานโลก และจัดกิจกรรมการท่องเที่ยวเชิงกีฬาตลอดทั้งปี ทำให้สามารถดึงดูดนักท่องเที่ยวได้เป็นจำนวนมาก และยังมีนักธุรกิจที่มีศักยภาพ ทั้งในภาคอุตสาหกรรม ภาคการเกษตร โดยเฉพาะภาคธุรกิจบริการ และมีประชากรราว 1.57 ล้านคน ผู้อยู่ในวัยแรงงานกว่า 6.6 แสนคน กระทรวงแรงงาน โดยกรมการจัดหางาน จึงเลือกจังหวัดบุรีรัมย์เป็นสถานที่จัดงาน“สร้างงาน และเส้นทาง สู่อาชีพ @เซราะกราวบุรีรัมย์” เพื่อจัดกิจกรรมส่งเสริมให้คนหางาน และสถานประกอบการที่มีตำแหน่งงานว่าง มีโอกาสมาพบกัน เพิ่มโอกาสให้ประชาชนเข้าถึงบริการของรัฐ เตรียมความพร้อมแก่กำลังแรงงาน เป็นการจุดประกายและเพิ่มศักยภาพในการประกอบอาชีพของประชาชน ให้นักเรียน นักศึกษาที่กำลังจะเข้าสู่ตลาดแรงงาน ในพื้นที่และจังหวัดใกล้เคียงได้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมที่ทำให้รู้จักตนเอง รู้ความถนัด ทราบแนวโน้มตลาดแรงงานในอนาคตและเตรียมตัวได้อย่างเหมาะสม ขับเคลื่อนสู่เป้าหมายการจ้างงาน 1 ล้านอัตรา ภายในปี 2567
ด้านนายสมชาย มรกตศรีวรรณ อธิบดีกรมการจัดหางาน กล่าวว่า กรมการจัดหางานเตรียมกิจกรรมที่น่าสนใจมากมาย อาทิ การเสวนา หัวข้อ “อายุน้อยร้อยล้าน” การรับสมัครนักเรียนเข้าร่วมโครงการ 3 ม. (มีงาน มีเงิน มีวุฒิการศึกษาเพิ่ม) ร่วมกับมหาวิทยาลัยภาคตะวันออก (อีเทค) บริษัท ไมเนอร์ อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล จำกัด และ KFC รวมทั้งการรับสมัครงานจากนายจ้าง สถานประกอบการในจังหวัดบุรีรัมย์ จำนวน 40 แห่ง ตำแหน่งงานว่างในประเทศและต่างประเทศรวมกันกว่า 1,500 อัตรา การสาธิตและฝึกปฏิบัติอาชีพอิสระ จำนวน 20 อาชีพ การจัดนิทรรศการเปลี่ยนแปลงของโลกอาชีพ และทดสอบความพร้อมด้านอาชีพและการเรียนรู้เสมือนจริง นิทรรศการแนะแนวการศึกษาต่อสำหรับนักเรียนนักศึกษา จากมหาวิทยาลัยรามคำแหง การหาไอเดียทำธุรกิจ Franchise และ Food Truck การจัดแสดงและจำหน่ายสินค้าจากกลุ่มผู้รับงานไปทำที่บ้าน การให้บริการของหน่วยงานในสังกัดกระทรวงแรงงาน รวมทั้งกิจกรรมการแข่งขันตอบปัญหาชิงรางวัล โดยมีผู้ให้ความสนใจการจัดงานครั้งนี้ จำนวน 88,482 คน

On March 7, 2024, the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, assigned the Secretariat to the Labour Minister, Mr. Aree Krainara, to visit Buriram to commence the “Creating Jobs and Career Paths@Buriram” event. The Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Decha Pruekphathanarak, and the Department of Employment’s Director-General, Mr. Somchai Morakotsriwan, gave a report. The Deputy Governor of Buriram Province, Mr. Piya Pijnam, and the Labour Academic Specialist and Acting Government Official at the Buriram Employment Office, Second Lieutenant Somchai La-ongthong, gave a welcome at the convention hall meeting room, Alvarez Hotel, Mueang Buriram District, Buriram Province.
The Secretariat to the Labour Minister, Mr. Aree Krainara, said that Buriram Province is outstanding in being a city of sports. There is a football field and a racing track that meet world standards, and sports tourism activities are organized throughout the year so that it is able to attract a large number of tourists. There are also businesses with potential in the industrial, agricultural, and service business sectors. The province has a population of approximately 1.57 million people, with over 660,000 people of working age. The Ministry of Labour’s Department of Employment, therefore, chose Buriram Province as the location for the “Creating Jobs and Career Paths@Buriram” event. The event had activities to encourage people to find work, connect them with companies that have job vacancies, and increase opportunities for citizens to access government services and prepare for the workforce. It also aimed to spark and increase students’ career potential, especially those about to enter the workforce, from the area and nearby provinces. Participants joined in activities that allowed them to know themselves and their aptitudes and gain knowledge about future labour market trends so that they could prepare appropriately. The activity aims to drive towards the employment target of 1 million positions by 2024.
The Department of Employment’s Director-General, Mr. Somchai Morakotsriwan, said that the Department of Employment prepared many interesting activities, including a discussion on the topic of “Young Millionaires,” recruiting students to join the 3H project (have a job, have money, have additional qualifications) in collaboration with Eastern University (E-Tech), Minor International Company Limited and KFC. There were recruitment activities from employers in over 40 establishments in Buriram Province, with over 1,500 vacancies in the country and abroad. There were demonstrations and practices for 20 independent occupations, an exhibition of changes in the world of occupations, career readiness assessments, and virtual learning. There was an exhibition for further education guidance for students from Ramkhamhaeng University, finding ideas for doing business as a franchise and food trucks, including displays and sales of products from homeworker groups. There were also services provided by agencies under the Ministry of Labour, including a competition to win prizes. Over 88,482 people joined the event.
The Ministry of Labour invites job seekers, students, and the general public interested in finding work, wanting to develop their skills, and finding ideas for additional careers to join the “Creating Jobs and Career Paths@Buriram” event on March 7 to 8, 2024, from 9.00 to 16.00 hours.
