วันที่ 17 กันยายน 2566 เวลา 13.30 น. นายบุญชอบ สุทธมนัสวงษ์ ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน มอบหมายให้ นายประทีป ทรงลำยอง รองปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน ร่วมประชุมขับเคลื่อนการป้องกัน ปราบปราม และแก้ไขปัญหายาเสพติด และพิธีทำลายยาเสพติดของกลางของ สำนักงาน ป.ป.ส. โดยมี นายเศรษฐา ทวีสิน นายกรัฐมนตรี เป็นประธานการประชุม ณ นิคมอุตสาหกรรมบางปู จ.สมุทรปราการ และบริษัท อัคคีปราการ จำกัด (มหาชน) โอกาสนี้มี ผู้บริหาร หัวหน้าหน่วยราชการจากหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง ร่วมประชุมด้วย
สำหรับการประชุมในครั้งนี้ ที่ประชุมมีวาระสำคัญได้มีการนำเสนอกรอบคิด สภาพปัญหา และแนวทางแก้ไขปัญหายาเสพติดตามนโยบายและแผนระดับชาติว่าด้วยการป้องกัน ปราบปราม และแก้ไขปัญหายาเสพติด พ.ศ.2566 – 2570 ภายใต้นโยบายและแผน 6 ด้าน ได้แก่ 1) ด้านความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศ 2) ด้านการปราบปรามยาเสพติด 3) ด้านการยึดทรัพย์สินคดียาเสพติด 4) ด้านการบำบัดรักษายาเสพติด 5) ด้านการป้องกันยาเสพติด และ 6) ด้านการบริหารจัดการ ซึ่งนายกรัฐมนตรีได้เน้นย้ำให้การแก้ไขปัญหายาเสพติดเป็นวาระแห่งชาติ โดยกำชับให้หน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องบูรณาการความร่วมมือในการขจัดปัญหายาเสพติดให้หมดไปจากสังคมไทย
On September 17, 2023, at 13.30 hours, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, assigned Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Prateep Songlamyong, to participate in a meeting to drive the prevention, suppression, and resolution of drug problems, and the drug destruction ceremony of the Narcotics Control Board. The Prime Minister, Mr. Srettha Thavisin, chaired the meeting at the Bang Pu Industrial Estate, Samut Prakan Province, and Akkhi Prakan Public Company Limited. Executives and heads of government agencies from related agencies also joined the meeting.
The meeting had an important agenda and presented the framework, problems, and solutions to drug problems according to the national policy and plan on preventing, suppressing, and solving drug problems 2023 – 2027 under the policy and plan in six areas. These include 1) International cooperation, 2) Drug suppression, 3) Seizure of property in drug cases, 4) Drug treatment, 5) Drug prevention, and 6) Management. The Prime Minister emphasized that solving the drug problem is a national agenda. He instructed relevant agencies to work together to eliminate the drug problem in Thai society.
