วันที่ 26 มิถุนายน 2566 เวลา 14.00 น.นายบุญชอบ สุทธมนัสวงษ์ ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน มอบหมายให้ นายวรรณรัตน์ ศรีสุขใส รองปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน เข้าร่วมประชุมคณะกรรมการป้องกันและปราบปรามการค้ามนุษย์ ครั้งที่ 2/2566 โดยมี พล.อ.ประวิตร วงษ์สุวรรณ รองนายกรัฐมนตรี ในฐานะประธานคณะกรรมการป้องกันและปราบปรามการค้ามนุษย์ (ปคม.) เป็นประธานการประชุม ซึ่งในส่วนของกระทรวงแรงงานมี นายสิบหมื่นชัย โพธิสินธุ์ รองอธิบดีกรมการจัดหางาน นายสมบัติ โพธิวัฒน์ ผู้อำนวยการกองทะเบียนจัดหางานกลางและคุ้มครองคนหางาน กรมการจัดหางาน นางสาวโสภณา บุญ-หลง ผู้อำนวยการสำนักงานเลขานุการศูนย์บัญชาการป้องกันการค้ามนุษย์ด้านแรงงาน และผู้แทนกรมสวัสดิการและคุ้มครองแรงงาน เข้าร่วมประชุมด้วย ณ มูลนิธิป่ารอยต่อ 5 จังหวัด แขวงสามเสนใน เขตพญาไท กรุงเทพมหานคร และประชุมผ่านสื่ออิเล็กทรอนิกส์
สาระสำคัญของการประชุมในครั้งนี้ ที่ประชุมได้ติดตามความก้าวหน้าการดำเนินการตามข้อสั่งการประธาน ปคม.ความก้าวหน้าการจัดตั้งศูนย์คัดแยกผู้เสียหาย (ดอนเมือง) รับทราบรายงานผลการจัดระดับประเทศไทยในรายงานสถานการณ์การค้ามนุษย์ของสหรัฐอเมริกา ประจำปี 2566 รายงานผลการขับเคลื่อนกลไกการส่งต่อระดับชาติในระดับจังหวัด รายงานความก้าวหน้าการจัดตั้งศูนย์บูรณาการการคัดแยกระดับจังหวัด รายงานผลการจัดกิจกรรมเนื่องในวันรณรงค์ต่อต้านการค้ามนุษย์ประจำปี 2566 และพิจารณาการดำเนินงานของคณะอนุกรรมการขับเคลื่อนโครงการอาเซียน – ออสเตรเลียเพื่อต่อต้านการค้ามนุษย์ (ASEAN – ACT) และคณะกรรมการร่วมขับเคลื่อนและบริหารศูนย์ความเป็นเลิศเพื่อต่อต้านการค้ามนุษย์ไทย – ออสเตรเลีย และการแต่งตั้งคณะอนุกรรมการขับเคลื่อนโครงการส่งเสริมธุรกิจท่องเที่ยวที่ปลอดภัยและเป็นมิตรกับเด็กด้วย
On June 26, 2023, at 14.00 hours, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, assigned the Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Wannarat Srisuksai, to join the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Committee Meeting No. 2/2023. The Deputy Prime Minister, General Prawit Wongsuwan, as Chairman of the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Committee, chaired the committee meeting. The Ministry of Labour had the Department of Employment’s Deputy Director-General, Mr. Sibmuenchai Phothisin, the Director of the Central Employment Registration and Job Seeker Protection Division from the Department of Employment, Mr. Sombat Phothiwat, the Director of the Office of the Secretariat of the Labour Trafficking Prevention Command Center, Ms. Sopana Boon-Long, and representatives of the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare also attended the meeting at the 5 Province Forest Foundation, Samsen Nai Subdistrict, Phayathai District, Bangkok, and online.
The meeting followed up on the progress of implementing the Chairman’s order and establishing the Victim Sorting Center (Don Mueang). It acknowledged the report on the results of Thailand’s ranking in the U.S. Trafficking in Persons Situation Report 2023, the report on the results of the national referral mechanism drive at the provincial level, the report on the progress of the establishment of the integrated sorting center at the provincial level, and the report on the results of activities from the Anti-Trafficking Day 2023. The meeting considered the operations of the Subcommittee for the Steering of the ASEAN-Australia Program Against Human Trafficking (ASEAN – ACT) and the Center of Excellence Steering Committee to Combat Human Trafficking, Thailand – Australia and the appointment of a subcommittee to drive projects to promote safe and child-friendly tourism businesses.
