วันที่ 6 ตุลาคม 2566 นายวรรณรัตน์ ศรีสุขใส รองปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน เข้าร่วมพิธีเปิดการประชุมภาคีการขับเคลื่อนการปฏิบัติงานด้านการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศของไทย ครั้งที่ 2 (2’d Thailand Climate Action Conference : TCAC 2) ณ SX Grand Plenary Hall 1 ชั้น G ศูนย์การประชุมแห่งชาติสิริกิต์ โดยมี นายเศรษฐา ทวีสิน นายกรัฐมนตรี เป็นประธานเปิดการประชุม ทั้งนี้ การประชุมมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเป็นเวทีสร้างพลังขับเคลื่อนการดำเนินงานด้านการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศของประทศไทยในการมุ่งสู่การบรรลุเป้าหมายตามที่ได้แสดงเจตจำนงไว้ต่อประชาคมโลก อีกทั้งยังเป็นการเสริมสร้างความตระหนักรู้ ความเข้าใจกับทุกภาคส่วนรวมถึงภาคประชาชนในวงกว้างเพื่อสร้างความพร้อมให้กับภาคส่วนที่เกี่ยวข้องผ่านการถ่ายทอดนโยบายสู่การปฏิบัติในระดับพื้นที่อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม และผลการประชุม TCAC ครั้งที่ 2 จะถูกนำเสนอควบคู่กับความก้วหน้าการดำเนินงานของประเทศไทยในการประชุม COP 28 ณ เมืองดูไบ สหรัฐอาหรับเอมิเรตส์
On October 6, 2023, the Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Wannarat Srisuksai, attended the opening ceremony of the 2nd Thailand Climate Action Conference (TCAC 2) at SX Grand Plenary Hall 1, Floor G, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. Prime Minister Mr. Srettha Thavisin presided over the commencement of the conference. The objective of the meeting is to serve as a platform to create power to drive Thailand’s climate change operations towards achieving the goals set out and expressed to the world community. It also enhances awareness and understanding with all sectors, including the broader public sector, to create readiness for relevant sectors by transferring policy into concrete practice at the local level. The results of the TCAC 2 will be presented along with Thailand’s performance progress at the COP 28 meeting in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
