วันที่ 16 พฤษภาคม 2566 เวลา 10.00 น. นายบุญชอบ สุทธมนัสวงษ์ ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน มอบหมายให้ นายวรรณรัตน์ ศรีสุขใส รองปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน ร่วมให้การต้อนรับและหารือของคณะผู้แทนจากสำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติประเทศสวีเดนและหน่วยงานด้านการค้ามนุษย์ โดยมี พลตำรวจเอกสุรเชษฐ์ หักพาล รองผู้บัญชาการตำรวจแห่งชาติ เป็นประธานในการหารือ ณ ห้องประชุมศรียานนท์ ชั้น ๒ อาคาร ๑ สำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ เพื่อศึกษาและรวบรวมข้อมูลข้อเท็จจริงที่เกี่ยวกับการค้ามนุษย์ การแสวงหาประโยชน์จากการบังคับใช้แรงงาน ปัญหาแรงงานไทยที่ถูกหลอกไปทำงานยังประเทศสวีเดน รวมถึงการแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้เกี่ยวกับกระบวนการสืบสวนสอบสวนและดำเนินคดีอาชญากรรมดังกล่าวในประเทศไทย และสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างหน่วยงานบังคับใช้กฎหมายหรือหน่วยงานภาครัฐของทั้งสองประเทศเพื่อจะป้องกันและปราบปรามอาชญากรรมการค้ามนุษย์ได้ดียิ่งขึ้นในภายหน้า
On May 16, 2023, at 10.00 hours, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, assigned the Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Wannarat Srisuksai, to welcome and join discussions with the delegations from the Swedish National Police and human trafficking agencies. Deputy Commissioner of the Royal Thai Police, Pol. Gen. Surachet Hakpal presided over the discussion at the Sriyanond Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Building 1, Royal Thai Police. The meeting’s objective was to study and collect factual information related to human trafficking, exploitation of forced labour, and the issue of Thai workers being deceived into working in Sweden, as well as exchange knowledge about the investigation process and prosecuting such crimes in Thailand. It also aimed to build cooperation between law enforcement agencies or government agencies of both countries to better prevent and combat human trafficking crimes in the future.
