วันที่ 20 ตุลาคม 2566 นายไพโรจน์ โชติกเสถียร ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน เปิดเผยว่า ตามที่ได้เกิดสถานการณ์ความไม่สงบในประเทศอิสราเอลและส่งผลกระทบต่อความเป็นอยู่ของแรงงานไทยบางส่วนที่ยังไม่สามารถทำงานได้และต้องหลบอยู่ในพื้นที่ศูนย์พักพิงนั้น กระทรวงแรงงาน โดยท่านพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน ได้มีความห่วงใยต่อความเป็นอยู่ของพี่น้องแรงงานไทยที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากเหตุการณ์ดังกล่าว กระทรวงแรงงาน จึงได้ร่วมมือกับภาคเอกชนเปิดรับบริจาคสิ่งของเครื่องอุปโภคบริโภคเพื่อนำไปช่วยเหลือพี่น้องแรงงานไทยในอิสราเอลนั้น
นายไพโรจน์ กล่าวต่อว่า ในวันนี้ ผมได้มอบหมายให้ นางสาวกรจิรัฏฐ์ พงจันทร์ศธร ผู้ช่วยปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน พร้อมด้วย นางสาวรุ่งทิพย์ จั่นทอง ผู้อำนวยการกองกลาง สำนักงานปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน นำสิ่งของเครื่องอุปโภคบริโภคที่ผู้ประกอบการ ภาคเอกชน สมาคม ตลอดจนห้างร้านต่างๆ มอบให้กระทรวงแรงงานนำมาให้กองทัพอากาศเพื่อขนส่งลำเลียงไปด้วยเครื่องบินเที่ยวพิเศษไปช่วยเหลือพี่น้องแรงงานไทยในอิสราเอล อาทิ ข้าวสาร 10,000 กิโลกรัม น้ำดื่ม 1,560 ขวด บะหมี่กึ่งสำเร็จรูป 3,336 ถ้วย ข้าวต้มมัด 1,368 ชิ้น ขนมขาไก่ 500 ห่อ ขนมทอดกรอบ 500 ห่อ ขนมกล้วยแผ่น 250 ห่อ แยมโรล 300 ชิ้น ขนมปัง 100 ชิ้น เป็นต้น
ด้าน นางสาวกรจิรัฏฐ์ พงจันทร์ศธร ผู้ช่วยปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน กล่าวเพิ่มเติมว่า ในส่วนของสิ่งของเครื่องอุปโภคบริโภคที่ได้รับมอบจากภาคเอกชน กระทรวงแรงงาน ได้นำมามอบให้กับกองบิน 6 ที่จะเป็นผู้ลำเลียงสิ่งของเหล่านี้ไปกับเครื่องบินพิเศษของกองทัพอากาศ เพื่อนำไปช่วยเหลือแรงงานไทยในอิสราเอล เป็นการบรรเทาความเดือดร้อนในเบื้องต้นต่อไป
ทั้งนี้ หน่วยงานภาครัฐ ผู้ประกอบการภาคเอกชนใดที่มีความประสงค์จะร่วมบริจาคสิ่งของ ข้าวสาร อาหารแห้ง เครื่องอุปโภคบริโภค เพื่อนำไปสมทบช่วยเหลือแรงงานไทยที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากความไม่สงบในอิสราเอลสามารถบริจาคได้ที่ บริเวณโถงชั้นล่าง อาคารกระทรวงแรงงาน ในวัน และเวลา ราชการ หรือติดต่อได้ที่ กองกลาง สำนักงานปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน โทรศัพท์ 02-2321142 , 02-2321443 , 02-2321156 และ 098-4163636 , 089-9876016 , 081-2480702
On October 20, 2023, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Phairoj Chotikasatian, spoke about the unrest in Israel, which has affected the well-being of some Thai workers who are still unable to work and must hide in the shelter area. The Ministry of Labour, by the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, is concerned about the well-being of Thai workers affected by the incident. Therefore, the Ministry of Labour has worked with the private sector to accept donations of consumer goods to help Thai workers in Israel.
Mr. Phairoj continued that today, he assigned the Assistant to the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Ms. Kornjirat Pongjansat, and Director of the Central Office of the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Ms. Rungthip Chanthong, to deliver consumer items from private sector businesses, associations, and various stores donated to the Ministry of Labour, to the Air Force to be transported by special planes to help Thai workers in Israel. The goods include 10,000 kilograms of rice, 1,560 bottles of drinking water, 3,336 cups of instant noodles, 1,368 packets of boiled rice, 500 packets of chicken snacks, 500 packets of crispy fried snacks, 250 packets of banana chips, 300 pieces of jam rolls, and 100 pieces of bread, for example.
The Assistant to the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Ms. Kornjirat Pongjansa, added that for the consumer items received from the private sector, the Ministry of Labour has delivered them to Wing 6, which will transport them on a special aircraft by the Royal Thai Air Force, to help Thai workers in Israel. This is to provide initial alleviation.
