วันที่ 11 เมษายน 2567 นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน เปิดเผยว่า ในช่วงเทศกาลสงกรานต์ปี 2567 นี้ ตนมีความห่วงใยพี่น้องผู้ใช้แรงงาน และพี่น้องประชาชนทั่วไปที่เดินทางกลับภูมิลำเนา รวมทั้งผู้ที่เดินทางไปท่องเที่ยวพักผ่อน เนื่องจากเป็นช่วงที่มีวันหยุดยาวติดต่อกันเป็นเวลาหลายวันนั้น ทำให้บนท้องถนนมีปริมาณผู้ใช้รถเดินทางสัญจรเป็นจำนวนมาก ซึ่งอาจมีความเสี่ยงที่ทำให้เกิดอุบัติเหตุได้ ในส่วนของกระทรวงแรงงาน ตนจึงได้กำชับให้ทุกหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องบูรณาการอำนวยความสะดวกแก่พี่น้องประชาชนในการเดินทาง และรณรงค์ลดอุบัติเหตุ โดยในปี 2567 นี้ กระทรวงแรงงานโดยกรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงานในพื้นที่ได้ออกหน่วยให้บริการ ตรวจเช็คสภาพรถฟรี ช่วงเทศกาลสงกรานต์ในปีนี้
“ในปี 2567 นี้ สถาบันพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงานหลายจังหวัด ดำเนินโครงการตรวจเช็คให้ฟรี ขับขี่ปลอดภัย ใส่ใจทุกเส้นทาง ระหว่างช่วงวันหยุดสงกรานต์ ตั้งแต่วันนี้ (วันที่ 11 เมษายน 2567) ไปถึงวันที่ 17 เมษายน 2567 โดยให้บริการตรวจเช็คสภาพทั่วไปรถยนต์และรถจักรยานยนต์ ณ สถาบันพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงานในจังหวัดที่เป็นเส้นทางหลัก ได้แก่ ลำปาง นครสวรรค์ ขอนแก่น นครราชสีมา กำแพงเพชร มุกดาหาร อุบลราชธานี สงขลา อุตรดิตถ์ ให้บริการ ตรวจเช็คระบบเบรค ระบบไฟ ล้อรถยนต์ เครื่องยนต์ หม้อน้ำ กรองน้ำมันเครื่อง” นายพิพัฒน์ กล่าว
ด้าน นายไพโรจน์ โชติกเสถียร ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน กล่าวเพิ่มเติมว่า สำหรับบริการตรวจเช็คความพร้อมของรถยนต์ และรถจักรยานยนต์ จะเน้นตรวจเช็คทั่วไปที่อาจส่งผลต่อการเกิดอุบัติเหตุ เช่น สภาพยาง ระดับน้ำมันเครื่อง หม้อน้ำและรอยรั่ว ระบบไฟส่องสว่าง และไฟสัญญาณต่าง ๆ ระบบเบรก และระบบการทำงานของเครื่องยนต์ ตรวจเช็คโดยครูฝึก ผู้เข้ารับการฝึกอบรมทักษะฝีมือสาขาช่างยนต์ และช่างซ่อมรถจักรยานยนต์
ทั้งนี้ พี่น้องประชาชนที่ต้องการเข้าร่วมโครงการตรวจเช็คให้ฟรี ขับขี่ปลอดภัย ใส่ใจทุกเส้นทาง กับกระทรวงแรงงานระหว่างช่วงวันหยุดสงกรานต์นี้ สามารถนำรถยนต์ รถจักรยานยนต์ มาเข้ารับบริการได้ฟรีที่สถาบันพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงานและสำนักงานพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงานจังหวัดที่เป็นเส้นทางหลัก ที่มีให้บริการ หรือสามารถสอบถามข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมได้ที่ สายด่วนกระทรวงแรงงาน 1506 กด 4 นอกจากนี้ ในช่วงวันหยุดยาว ผมยังได้กำชับให้หน่วยงานของกรม ร่วมให้บริการประชาชนตามนโยบายของแต่ละจังหวัดตามความเหมาะสมด้วย

In 2024, the Ministry of Labour, through the Department of Skill Development in the area, launched service units providing free car condition checks during the Songkran festival this year.
“In 2024, the Skill Development Institutes in many provinces will carry out a free inspection project to promote safe driving. They will pay attention to every route during the Songkran holiday from today (April 11, 2024) to April 17, 2024, providing general inspection services for cars and motorcycles at Provincial Skill Development Institutes in key provinces, including Lampang, Nakhon Sawan, Khon Kaen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Kamphaeng Phet, Mukdahan, Ubon Ratchathani, Songkhla, and Uttaradit. The services will check the brake systems, electrical systems, car tires, engines, radiators, and oil filters,” Mr. Phiphat said.
The Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Pairoj Chotikasathien, added that the services checking car and motorcycle conditions will focus on general inspections that may affect accidents, such as tire condition, engine oil levels, radiators and leakages, lighting systems and light signals, braking systems, and engine operating systems. The vehicles will be checked by those undergoing skill training in the field of automotive mechanics and motorcycle mechanics.
People who wish to join the project will receive free inspections to ensure that they drive safely and pay attention to all routes with the Ministry of Labour during this Songkran holiday. The general public can bring their car or motorcycle to receive free services at the Skill Development Institute and the Provincial Skill Development Office, which are available on main routes.
