          วันที่ 28 ตุลาคม 2566 นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน เปิดเผยว่า ท่านนายกรัฐมนตรี นายเศรษฐา ทวีสิน มีความห่วงใยพี่น้องแรงงานไทยที่ทำงานอยู่ ณ ประเทศอิสราเอล เป็นอย่างมาก ซึ่งสถานการณ์การสู้รบอาจมีแนวโน้มที่จะขยายวงกว้างมากยิ่งขึ้น และ อาจทำให้เกิดอันตรายต่อชีวิตของพี่น้องแรงงานไทยที่ทำงานอยู่ในประเทศอิสราเอลโดยการสู้รบที่ขยายพื้นที่ในวงกว้างจะส่งผลต่อการเดินทางภายในประเทศอิสราเอล และ กระทบต่อกระบวนการอพยพพี่น้องแรงงาน

          กระทรวงแรงงาน จึงขอเชิญชวนให้พี่น้องแรงงานไทยพิจารณาในการเดินทางกลับประเทศ พร้อมขอความช่วยเหลือจากครอบครัวของแรงงานไทย ในการช่วยเร่งประสานและประชาสัมพันธ์ข้อมูลต่างๆ ไปยังพี่น้องแรงงานไทย ณ ประเทศอิสราเอล เพื่อให้ได้รับข่าวสารที่รวดเร็ว

          ซึ่งปัจจุบัน มีพี่น้องแรงงานบางส่วนที่ยังมีความกังวลถึงค่าจ้างที่ยังไม่ได้รับ หรือกังวลว่าจะไม่สามารถเดินทางกลับไปทำงานได้ภายหลังจากสถานการณ์สงบลง ทางกระทรวงแรงงานขอยืนยันกับพี่น้องแรงงานว่า “พี่น้องแรงงานทุกท่านจะได้รับค่าจ้างเต็มจำนวน และจะสามารถกลับไปทำงานภายหลังสถานการณ์สงบได้อย่างแน่นอน” และ ทางกระทรวงแรงงาน ได้ร่วมหารือกับหน่วยงานต่างๆ ในการหามาตรการช่วยเหลือเยียวยาเพิ่มเติมสำหรับพี่น้องแรงงานไทยที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากสถานการณ์ในครั้งนี้

           ผมจึงอยากขอเชิญชวนให้พี่น้องแรงงานไทยพิจารณาทบทวนให้ถี่ถ้วนในการเดินทางกลับประเทศไทย โดยคำนึงถึงความปลอดภัยต่อชีวิตเป็นสิ่งแรก ซึ่งทางรัฐบาลฯ ได้เตรียมพร้อมในการอพยพพี่น้องแรงงานไทยกลับสู่ประเทศได้อย่างปลอดภัยในเวลาที่รวดเร็วที่สุด สำหรับพี่น้องแรงงานไทยที่มีความประสงค์ในการเดินทางกลับประเทศไทย สามารถแจ้งความประสงค์มายังสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเทลอาวีฟ หรือเดินทางมายังศูนย์พักพิงได้ทันทีที่:

          On October 28, 2023, the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, revealed that Prime Minister Mr. Srettha Thavisin is very concerned about Thai workers working in Israel, where the conflict situation may spread and cause danger to the lives of Thais working in Israel. As the conflict spreads to a wider area, it will affect the movement within Israel and affect the immigration process of workers.
The Ministry of Labour, therefore, invites Thai workers to consider returning to the country. It has asked for help from the families of Thai workers to coordinate and publicize various information to Thai workers in Israel so that they receive the news quickly.
 
          At present, some workers are still concerned about the wages they have not received or worried about not being able to return to work after the situation calms. The Ministry of Labour would like to confirm with the workers that “All workers will receive full wages and will be able to return to work after the situation is settled.” The Ministry of Labour has participated in discussions with various agencies to find additional relief measures for Thai workers affected by this situation.
 
          He invited Thai workers to carefully consider their return to Thailand, considering the safety of life as the priority. The government is prepared to evacuate Thai workers back to the country safely in the fastest possible time. Thai workers who wish to return to Thailand can report their request to the Royal Thai Embassy in Tel Aviv or come to the shelter immediately at:
