ถึงแล้ว 266 แรงงานไทยกลับจากอิสราเอล ชุดที่ 8 ก.แรงงาน จัดเจ้าหน้าที่ดูแลสิทธิประโยชน์จากกองทุนฯ
วันที่ 18 ตุลาคม 2566 นายไพโรจน์ โชติกเสถียร ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน มอบหมายให้ นายเดชา พฤกษ์พัฒนรักษ์ ผู้ช่วยปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน รับแรงงานที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากความไม่สงบในอิสราเอลกลับถึงประเทศไทย จำนวน 266 คน โดยมี ผู้บริหารระดับสูงกระทรวงแรงงาน พร้อมด้วยเจ้าหน้าที่จากกองทุนเพื่อช่วยเหลือคนหางานไปทำงานในต่างประเทศที่ได้มาตั้งโต๊ะอำนวยความสะดวกให้คำแนะนำการยื่นคำร้องขอรับสิทธิประโยชน์จากกองทุนเพื่อช่วยเหลือคนหางานไปทำงานต่างประเทศ ณ บริเวณชั้น 2 ประตู 10 อาคารผู้โดยสารขาเข้าระหว่างประเทศ ท่าอากาศยานสุวรรณภูมิ จังหวัดสมุทรปราการ
นายไพโรจน์ โชติกเสถียร ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน กล่าวว่า ท่านพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน ได้มีความห่วงใยแรงงานไทยทุกคนที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากเหตุความไม่สงบในอิสราเอลในครั้งนี้และท่านได้ติดตามสถานการณ์อย่างใกล้ชิดมาโดยตลอด ในวันนี้ผมจึงได้มอบหมายให้ นายเดชา พฤกษ์พัฒนรักษ์ ผู้ช่วยปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน และคณะ ไปรับแรงงานไทย จำนวน 266 คน ที่เดินทางกลับมาด้วยสายการบินไทย เที่ยวบินที่ TG 8951 โดยแรงงานไทยกลุ่มนี้ถือเป็นแรงงานชุดที่ 8 ที่ได้แจ้งความประสงค์ไว้กับสถานทูตฯ และเดินทางถึงท่าอากาศยานสุวรรณภูมิ เมื่อเวลา 03.30 น.ของวันนี้ ทันทีที่มาถึงสนามบินสุวรรณภูมิ กระทรวงแรงงานได้จัดเจ้าหน้าที่ตั้งโต๊ะให้บริการคำแนะนำเกี่ยวกับการยื่นคำร้องขอรับสิทธิประโยชน์จากกองทุนเพื่อช่วยเหลือแรงงานไทยไปทำงานต่างประเทศ เพื่อให้แรงงานไทยได้รับเงินสิทธิประโยชน์ดังกล่าวโดยเร็วที่สุด
“แรงงานไทยที่เป็นสมาชิกกองทุนเพื่อช่วยเหลือคนหางานไปทำงานต่างประเทศ และอยู่ในความคุ้มครอง มั่นใจได้เลยว่าเบื้องต้นมีสิทธิ์รับสิทธิประโยชน์จากกองทุนฯ กรณีประสบปัญหาต้องเดินทางกลับประเทศไทยเนื่องจากภัยสงคราม รายละ 15,000 บาท อย่างแน่นอน หรือกรณีที่มีการรับรองจากแพทย์ว่าทุพพลภาพ จะได้รับการสงเคราะห์ เป็นจำนวน 30,000 บาท หรือกรณีเสียชีวิตในต่างประเทศ จะสงเคราะห์จำนวน 40,000 บาท และค่าใช้จ่ายในการจัดการศพในต่างประเทศเท่าที่จ่ายจริงไม่เกิน 40,000 บาทด้วย นอกจากนี้ประเทศอิสราเอลยังมีสวัสดิการตามกฎหมาย (ประกันการทำงาน + นายจ้างจ่าย) กรณีบาดเจ็บ/ พิการตามการรับรองของแพทย์ แบ่งเป็น บาดเจ็บ 10 -19 % ได้รับเงินก้อนเดียว ประมาณ 1,440,000 บาท บาดเจ็บเกิน 20% ได้รับเงินเดือนทุกเดือน จนกว่าจะเสียชีวิต โดยประเมินจากความสูญเสีย กรณีเสียชีวิต ภรรยาและบุตร ได้รับเงินเดือนทุกเดือน จนกว่าภรรยาจะแต่งงานใหม่ และบุตรอายุครบ 18 ปีบริบูรณ์ (ภรรยาเป็นเงิน 34,560 บาทต่อเดือน /บุตร เป็นเงิน 5,760-11,520 บาทต่อเดือน)” ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน กล่าว
ด้าน นายเดชา พฤกษ์พัฒนรักษ์ ผู้ช่วยปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน กล่าวถึงความคืบหน้าสถานการณ์การให้ความช่วยเหลือพี่น้องแรงงานไทยในประเทศอิสราเอล ซึ่งจากรายงานของฝ่ายแรงงานประจำสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเทลอาวีฟ พบว่า ล่าสุดมีแรงงานไทยได้ลงทะเบียนกรอกแบบฟอร์มแจ้งความประสงค์เดินทางกลับประเทศไทยกับทางสถานทูตฯ แล้ว 8,271 คน ขอกลับประเทศไทย 8,160 คน ไม่ประสงค์กลับ 111 คน ถูกจับไปเป็นตัวประกัน จำนวน 17 ราย เสียชีวิต จำนวน 30 ราย (รอยืนยัน) บาดเจ็บ 16 ราย (ยังไม่สามารถระบุชื่อได้ 1 ราย)
On October 18, 2023, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Phairoj Chotikasatian assigned the Assistant Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Decha Pruekphathanarak, to receive 266 workers affected by the unrest in Israel back to Thailand. The Ministry of Labour’s executives and officials from the fund to help job seekers working abroad set up a table to advise on applying for benefits from the fund to help job seekers working abroad on the 2nd floor, Gate 10, International Arrivals Building, Suvarnabhumi Airport, Samut Prakan Province.
The Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Phairoj Chotikasatian, said that the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, is concerned about all Thai workers affected by the unrest in Israel and has been following the situation closely. Today, he assigned the Assistant Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Decha Pruekphathanarak, and a delegation to pick up 266 Thai workers returning on Thai Airways flight TG 8951. This group of Thai workers is the eighth group that reported their intentions to the Embassy. They arrived at Suvarnabhumi Airport at 03.30 hours today. Immediately after arriving at Suvarnabhumi Airport, the Ministry of Labour arranged for staff to advise on applying for benefits from the fund to help Thai workers working abroad receive these benefits as soon as possible.
“Thai workers who are members of the fund to help job seekers working abroad and are still under protection can be assured that they will have the right to receive benefits from the fund. This includes receiving 15,000 Baht per person immediately as assistance if encountering problems and having to return to Thailand. In the case of disability, they will receive assistance of 30,000 Baht per person. In the case of death abroad, they will receive aid of 40,000 Baht, and funeral expenses abroad are as much as the actual payment is, not exceeding 40,000 Baht. In addition, they will receive benefits according to the laws of Israel (work insurance + employer payment). In the case of injury/disability, as certified by a doctor, where the injury is 10-19%, they will receive a lump sum of approximately 1,440,000 Baht. For injuries over 20%, they will receive a salary every month until death, evaluated from the loss. In the case of death, the worker’s wife and children will receive a salary every month until the wife remarries and the children reach 18 years of age (wives receive 34,560 Baht per month, whereas children receive 5,760-11,520 Baht per month),” said the Permanent Secretary of Labour.
The Assistant Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Decha Pruekphathanarak, spoke about the progress in assisting Thai workers in Israel. From the report of the Minister Counselor for Labour at the Royal Thai Embassy in Tel Aviv, 8,271 people filled out travel request forms with the Embassy, whereby 8,160 requested to return to Thailand while 111 reported their intention not to return. Seventeen Thai workers were taken hostage, 30 died (waiting for confirmation), and 16 were injured (1 remains unnamed).
