วันที่ 10 กันยายน 2566 นายบุญชอบ สุทธมนัสวงษ์ ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน พร้อมด้วยผู้บริหารเข้าร่วมการจัดงานแข่งขันเซปักตะกร้อและประเพณีลอยกระทง ประจำปี 2566 โดยการจัดงานครั้งนี้ สนร.ไทเป ร่วมกับกองแรงงงานนครนิวไทเป จัดงานกิจกรรมแข่งขันเซปักตระกร้อและประเพณีลอยกระทงประจำปี 2566 ณ ซิติเซ่นพลาซ่า ลานหน้าที่ทำการนครนิวไทเป พิธีเปิดงานมี นายทวีเกียรติ เจนประจักษ์ ผู้อำนวยการใหญ่สำนักงานการค้าและเศรษฐกิจไทย และนายบุญชอบ สุทธมนัสวงษ์ ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน เป็นประธานฝ่ายไทย และ นายเฉิ่น รุ่ย เจีย ผู้อำนวยการกองแรงงาน นครนิวไทเป เป็นประธานฝ่ายไต้หวัน โดยกิจกรรมภายในงานประกอบไปด้วย การแข่งขันกีฬาเซปักตระกร้อ การประกวดนางนพมาศ การมอบโล่เกียรติคุณนายจ้าง/หน่วยงานที่ช่วยเหลือและคุ้มครองแรงงานไทย การลอยกระทงบริเวณสระจำลอง การแสดงนาฎศิลป์ของกลุ่มลูกหลานไทย การแสดงของศิลปินนักร้องไทย (ไมค์ ภิรมย์พร) ซึ่งเป็นศิลปินขวัญใจพี่น้องชาวไทย มีการออกบูธบริการตัดผม นวดสุขภาพ กิจกรรมประดิษฐ์กระทงและโคมยี่เป็ง บริการอาหารฟรี (Pizza Hut/KFC) พร้อมลุ้นโชคจับรางวัล นอกจากนี้ภายในงานมีบูทประชาสัมพันธ์ของหน่วยงานต่างๆในไต้หวัน อาทิเช่น ค่ายโทรศัพท์มือถือ และบริษัทที่ดำเนินการโอนเงินกลับประเทศอย่างถูกกฎหมาย เป็นต้น
ภายในงานมีแรงงานไทยเข้าร่วมงานกว่า 4,000 คน ได้รับเสียงชื่มชมและแสดงความขอบคุณที่ได้จัดกิจกรรมเพื่อพี่น้องแรงงานไทยให้ได้รับความสุขรวมทั้งสืบสานประเพณีอันดีงามของไทย รวมทั้งได้มีการพูดคุยซักถามสภาพความเป็นอยู่ของแรงงานไทย และนำความห่วงใยของกระทรวงแรงงานซึ่งได้ให้ความสำคัญกับพี่น้องแรงงานไทยในไต้หวันเป็นอย่างมาก เนื่องจากแรงงานไทยเป็น “ฮีโร่” ของประเทศไทย และฝากให้ทุกคนดูแลสุขภาพและห่างไกลจากยาเสพติด เพื่อนำเงินกลับไปสู่ครอบครัวและสามารถสร้างเศรษฐกิของประเทศให้พัฒนายิ่งขึ้นอีกด้วย
On September 10, 2023, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, and executives participated in organizing the Sepak Takraw competition and Loy Krathong traditional event for 2023. The Taipei Office of Labour Affairs and the New Taipei City Labour Department organized the event. The Sepak Takraw competition and Loy Krathong traditional event for 2023 were organized at Citizen Plaza, New Taipei City Office Square. The opening ceremony had the Director-General of the Thai Trade and Economic Office, Mr. Thaweekiat Jenprajak, and the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong as chairpersons on the Thai side, and the Director of the New Taipei City Labour Department, Mr. Chen Rui Jia, as the chairperson from Taiwan. The activities within the event included a Sepak Takraw competition, a “Miss Noppamas” contest, and a presentation of honourary plaques to employers/agencies that help and protect Thai workers. There was also a Loi Krathong activity near the pond, a dance performance by a group of Thai children, and a performance by a Thai singer (Mike Phiromporn), who is a beloved artist of the Thai people. There were booths offering haircuts, health massages, Krathong-making activities and, Yi Peng lanterns, free food service (Pizza Hut/KFC) with a chance to win prizes. In addition, the event had booths by various agencies in Taiwan, such as mobile phone companies and companies that legally transfer money back to the country.
Over 4,000 Thai workers joined the event. The event received praise, and people showed their gratitude for organizing activities for Thai workers’ happiness and to continue Thailand’s good traditions. There was also a discussion to inquire about the living conditions of Thai workers, sharing the Ministry of Labour’s care to the people. The Ministry of Labour has given great importance to Thai workers in Taiwan. Thai workers are the “heroes” of Thailand. They asked that everyone take care of their health, stay away from drugs, send money back to their families, and further develop the country’s economy.
