วันที่ 11 กันยายน 2566 เวลา 15.00 น. นายบุญชอบ สุทธมนัสวงษ์ ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน ได้เดินทางเข้าเยี่ยมชมศูนย์บริการสายด่วนให้บริการแรงงานต่างชาติ 1995 โดย นาย Chia Jen Lai รองอธิบดีกรมพัฒนากำลังแรงงาน กระทรวงแรงงานไต้หวัน ให้การต้อนรับ ซึ่งศูนย์บริการสายด่วน 1955 เป็นสายบริการให้คำปรึกษาแรงงานต่างชาติเพียงสายเดียวในไต้หวัน เริ่มก่อตั้งในปี 2009 โดยมีล่ามแปล 4 ภาษา ได้แก่ ภาษาอังกฤษ ไทย เวียดนาม และอินโดนีเซีย ให้บริการทางโทรศัพท์ตลอด 24 ชั่วโมง เพื่อปกป้องช่วยเหลือสิทธิและผลประโยชน์ของแรงงานอย่างเข้มงวดทุกกรณี
นายบุญชอบฯ ได้กล่าวขอบคุณและชื่นชมในการทำงานให้การดูแลแรงงานต่างชาติ โดยการบริการเปิดให้บริการตลอด 24 ชม. ปัจจุบัน มีแรงงานไทยในไต้หวันอยู่ในอันดับ 4 โดยประมาณ 68,000 คน จากแรงงานต่างด้าวในไต้หวันทั้งหมด 7 แสนคน พร้อมทั้งขอให้มีการแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลกรณีบริษัทจัดหางานในไต้หวันปฏิบัติไม่ถูกต้อง เพื่อทางกระทรวงแรงงานจะได้ดำเนินการกับบริษัทจัดหางานต่อไป
On September 11, 2023, at 15.00 hours, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, visited the Foreign Worker Service Center Hotline 1995. The Deputy Director of the New Taipei City Labour Department, Mr. Chia Jen Lai, gave a welcome. The Service Center Hotline 1995 is Taiwan’s only foreign worker counseling service line. It was established in 2009 with interpreters in 4 languages: English, Thai, Vietnamese, and Indonesian. It provides telephone service 24 hours a day to strictly protect and assist workers’ rights and interests in all cases.
Mr. Boonchob thanked and commended the work in caring for foreign workers. The service is open 24 hours a day. Currently, Thai workers in Taiwan are ranked fourth, with approximately 68,000 out of 700,000 foreign workers in Taiwan. He asked for an exchange of information in cases where recruiting companies in Taiwan do not perform properly So that the Ministry of Labour can take further action with the employment company.
