วันที่ 10 พฤษภาคม 2566 นายบุญชอบ สุทธมนัสวงษ์ ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน แถลงข่าวการจัดแข่งขันฝีมือแรงงานแห่งชาติ ครั้งที่ 29 เวทีประชันฝีมือของคนรุ่นใหม่ จัดขึ้น 26 สาขา ระหว่างวันที่ 22 – 24 พฤษภาคม 2566 ณ สถาบันพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน 1 สมุทรปราการ
นายบุญชอบ สุทธมนัสวงษ์ ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน แถลงว่า การแข่งขันฝีมือแรงงานแห่งชาติในปีนี้ จัดต่อเนื่องเป็นครั้งที่ 29 เพื่อจูงใจและสนับสนุนให้กำลังแรงงานไทยมีความพร้อมที่จะพัฒนาฝีมือของตนเองให้ได้มาตรฐานที่กำหนดไว้และทัดเทียมกับมาตรฐานสากล รวมถึงเปิดโอกาสให้เยาวชนได้แสดงฝีมือและเป็นตัวแทนเข้าร่วมการแข่งขันฝีมือแรงงานระดับอาเซียน ระดับเอเชีย และระดับนานาชาติ ซึ่งเป็นไปตามนโยบายของรัฐบาลในการส่งเสริมการยกระดับกำลังแรงงาน ยกฐานะทางเศรษฐกิจและสังคม และส่งเสริมความร่วมมือระหว่างภาครัฐและเอกชนในการพัฒนาทักษะฝีมือของกำลังแรงงานให้ทันต่อวิทยาการและเทคโนโลยีใหม่ ๆ การจัดการแข่งขันฝีมือแรงงานแห่งชาติ ครั้งที่ 29 นี้ จัดขึ้นทั้งหมด 6 กลุ่มสาขาอาชีพ จำนวน 25 สาขา และสาขาสาธิต 1 สาขา รวมทั้งหมด 26 สาขา ระหว่างวันที่ 22 – 24 พฤษภาคม 2566 ณ สถาบันพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน 1 สมุทรปราการเป็นสถานที่หลักในการแข่งขัน และสถานที่อื่นๆ ได้แก่ มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม โรงเรียนจิตรลดาวิชาชีพ สถาบันพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน 3 ชลบุรี วิทยาลัยการแรงงาน กรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน และมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลล้านนา ร่วมจัดการแข่งขันด้วย
นายบุญชอบ กล่าวต่อว่า เยาวชนที่ชนะการแข่งขันครั้งนี้จะได้รับคัดเลือกเป็นตัวแทนประเทศไทย เพื่อไปการแข่งขันฝีมือแรงงานทั้งในระดับอาเซียน ระดับเอเชีย และระดับนานาชาติ พร้อมเงินรางวัลมากมาย ได้แก่ ประเภทเยาวชนเหรียญทอง 30,000 บาท เหรียญเงิน 15,000 บาท เหรียญทองแดง 10,000 บาท และรางวัลชมเชย 5000 บาท ประเภททีมเยาวชน เหรียญทอง 60,000 บาท เหรียญเงิน 30,000 บาท เหรียญทองแดง 20,000 บาท และรางวัลชมเชย 10,000 บาท “หวังเป็นอย่างยิ่งว่า การแข่งขันฝีมือแรงงานแห่งชาติในครั้งนี้ จะเป็นเวทีที่เยาวชนไทยจะแสดงฝีมือให้คนทั่วโลกได้รับรู้ถึงความสามารถในทักษะฝีมือของไทยที่ได้มาตรฐานและทัดเทียมมาตรฐานสากล พร้อมก้าวเข้าสู่เวทีนานาชาติ และขอเชิญชวนประชาชนทุกท่านร่วมให้กำลังใจเยาวชนไทยที่เข้าร่วมการแข่งขันในครั้งนี้ได้ตั้งแต่วันที่ 22 – 24 พฤษภาคม 2566 ณ สถาบันพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน 1 สมุทรปราการ หรือรับชมบรรยากาศการแข่งขันผ่านทางเพจ Facebook ของกรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน” นายบุญชอบ กล่าวทิ้งท้าย
On May 10, 2023, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, hosted a press conference on the 29th National Skill Competitions. The event is a skills competition for new generations, held in 26 branches between May 22-24, 2023, at the Samut Prakan Skill Development Institute 1.
The Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, announced that this year’s National Skill Competition will be the 29th time. It aims to motivate and support Thai workers to be ready to develop their skills to meet the specified standards and to be on par with international standards. It provides opportunities for young people to show their skills and be representatives to participate in ASEAN, Asian, and international skill competitions. This is in line with the government’s policy to promote the upgrading of the workforce, to raise the economic and social status, and to promote cooperation between the public and private sectors in developing the workforce’s skills to keep up with new science and technology. The 29th National Skills Competition is held in 6 groups, 25 branches, and one demonstration branch for 26 branches. The event is scheduled between May 22 – 24, 2023, at the Samut Prakan Skill Development Institute 1, which is the main venue for the competition, including other places such as Sripatum University, Chitralada Vocational School, the Chonburi Skill Development Institute 3, the College of Labour, the Department of Skill Development, and the Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, which will join the competition as well.
Mr. Boonchob continued that winners of this competition will be selected as Thailand’s representatives at skills competitions at the ASEAN, Asian, and international levels. There are many prizes, including 30,000 Baht for a gold medal in the youth category, 15,000 Baht for a silver medal, 10,000 Baht for a bronze medal, and 5,000 Baht for a consolation prize. Additionally, 60,000 Baht would go to gold medal winners in the youth team category, 30,000 Baht for a silver medal, 20,000 Baht for a bronze medal, and 10,000 Baht as a consolation prize. This National Skill Competition is a stage where Thai youths can showcase their skills to people worldwide to observe their abilities in Thai craftsmanship that meet international standards. It prepares youths to step into the international arena. He invited everyone to join and encouraged Thai youths to participate in this competition scheduled on May 22 to 24, 2023, at the Samut Prakan Skill Development Institute 1, or by watching the competition via the Department of Skill Development’s Facebook page, concluded Mr. Boonchob.
