วันที่ 1 เมษายน 2566 นายสุรชัย ชัยตระกูลทอง ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงแรงงาน เป็นประธานในพิธีมอบรางวัล “องค์กรสุขสภาพเพื่อการสร้างชาติ โดยมี นายสัตวแพทย์ วีรพล เหมรัตนากรณ์ ประธานกรรมการบริหารคณะทำงานองค์กรสร้างชาติ รุ่นที่ 1 กล่าวรายงานวัตถุประสงค์การจัดงาน ศ.ดร.เกรียงศักดิ์ เจริญวงศ์ศักดิ์ ประธานสถาบันการสร้างชาติ พร้อมด้วย นางสาวอรัญญา สกุลโกศล กรรมการรุ่นที่ 1 ผู้นำการประกอบการ WeIlness เพื่อการสร้างชาติ ผู้บริหารระดับสูงกระทรวงแรงงาน ผู้แทนหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องและองค์กรผู้รับรางวัล ร่วมให้การต้อนรับ ณ ห้องประชุม Grand Ballroom คริสตัล ดีไซน์ เซ็นเตอร์ (CDC) ถนนประดิษฐ์มนูธรรม กรุงเทพฯ
นายสุรชัย กล่าวว่า กระทรวงแรงงาน ได้ให้ความสำคัญในเรื่องของสุขภาพและสุขภาวะของลูกจ้าง ที่ทำงานในสถานประกอบกิจการเป็นอย่างมาก โดยเมื่อวันที่ 10 มีนาคม 2566 ได้ร่วมกับสถาบันการสร้างชาติ ลงนามบันทึกความร่วมมือเพื่อสนับสนุนโครงการ Wellness CNB นอกจากนี้ กระทรวงแรงงาน ได้ให้สำนักงานประกันสังคม จัดทำโครงการดูแลสุขภาพผู้ประกันตนเชิงรุกในสถานประกอบการ เพื่อค้นหาความเสี่ยงโรคหลอดเลือดและหัวใจ นำร่องพร้อมกันในพื้นที่ 7 จังหวัด ได้แก่ นนทบุรี สมุทรปราการ ระยอง พระนครศรีอยุธยา สมุทรสาคร ปทุมธานี และชลบุรี อีกทั้ง กระทรวงแรงงาน โดยกรมสวัสดิการและคุ้มครองแรงงาน ยังได้ปรับปรุงกฎหมายเรื่องลูกจ้างซึ่งเป็นหญิงมีครรภ์ให้ได้รับการดูแล คุ้มครองสิทธิและสวัสดิการต่างๆ ตลอดจนการบังคับใช้กฎหมายเรื่องความปลอดภัย อาชีวอนามัย และสภาพแวดล้อมในการทำงานในสถานประกอบกิจการอย่างจริงจัง เพื่อมุ่งหวังให้ลูกจ้างมีสุขภาพและสุขภาวะที่ดี และมีความปลอดภัยในการทำงาน
นายสุรชัย กล่าวต่อว่า การจัดงานพิธีมอบรางวัลในครั้งนี้ จัดขึ้นโดยสถาบันการสร้างชาติ ร่วมกับ คณะนักศึกษา ผู้บริหารหลักสูตรผู้นำการประกอบการ Wellness เพื่อการสร้างชาติ (นสช. Wellness) ได้ริเริ่มโครงการ “การพัฒนาสุขสภาพขององค์กร เพื่อการสร้างชาติ (Wellness Corporate Nation-Building หรือ Wellness CNB)”เป็นการมอบรางวัลครั้งแรกของประเทศไทย เพื่อสนับสนุนและพัฒนาสุขสภาพ ของพนักงานในภาคธุรกิจอย่างเป็นองค์รวม บูรณาการทั้งปัจจัยภายในบุคคล และปัจจัยภายนอกอย่างครบทุกมิติ ซึ่งจะช่วยลดการเจ็บป่วย เพิ่มประสิทธิภาพประสิทธิผลในการทำงาน เกิดความคิดทัศนคติที่ดีต่อการทำงาน เสริมสร้างสัมพันธ์อันดีในที่ทำงาน ซึ่งจะนำไปสู่การเพิ่มผลิตภาพในการทำงานเกิดประโยชน์ทั้งต่อตัวองค์กรเอง และการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจสังคมของประเทศ

On April 1, 2023, the Assistant to the Labour Minister, Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong, presided over the “Wellness Corporate Nation-Building” award ceremony. Chairman of the Nation-Building Working Group, Class 1, Mr. Veeraphon Hemratanakon, reported the event’s objectives. President of the Nation Building Institute, Prof. Dr. Kriengsak Charoen Wongsak, the 1st generation committee member, Ms. Aranya Sakulkosol, leaders of wellness organizations to build a nation, the Ministry of Labour’s executives, representatives of relevant agencies and recipient organizations gave a welcome at the Grand Ballroom, Crystal Design Center (CDC), Pradit Manutham Road, Bangkok.
Mr. Surachai said that the Ministry of Labour gives importance to the health and well-being of workplace employees. On March 10, 2023, it signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the National Building Institute to support the Wellness CNB project. The Social Security Office was assigned to establish a proactive healthcare project for insured persons in the workplace to screen for risks of cardiovascular diseases. The initiative was piloted simultaneously in seven provinces: Nonthaburi, Samut Prakan, Rayong, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Samut Sakhon, Pathum Thani, and Chonburi. The Ministry of Labour’s Department of Labour Protection and Welfare also amended the law on pregnant employees to ensure the protection of rights and welfare, as well as seriously enforcing the law on occupational safety, health, and the working environment in the workplace. It aims for employees to have good health and well-being and a safe environment to work in.
Mr. Surachai continued that the award ceremony was organized by the Nation Building Institute and the faculty of students and executives of the Wellness Entrepreneurship Leader Program for Nation Building, who started the Wellness Corporate Nation-Building project, or Wellness CNB. It was the first award ceremony in Thailand. It aims to support and improve the health of employees in the business sector by integrating internal and external factors in all dimensions, which will reduce illness and optimize work efficiency. The idea is to promote a good attitude towards work and strengthen good relationships in the workplace. This will lead to an increase in productivity at work, benefiting both the organization itself and the country’s socioeconomic development.

May everyone maintain their standards and be a role model for other organizations in caring for workers to ensure health, happiness, and safety at work, leading to a good quality of life. I ask you to continue to help communicate and publicize to other organizations to join the Wellness CNB project and continue to organize an award ceremony like this,” concluded Mr. Surachai.
