เมื่อวันที่ 23 กุมภาพันธ์ 2566 นายสมชาย มรกตศรีวรรณ ผู้ตรวจราชการกระทรวงแรงงาน ลงพื้นที่ตรวจเยี่ยมบริษัท โรงเส้นหมี่ชอเฮง จำกัด ณ ตำบลยายชา อำเภอสามพราน จังหวัดนครปฐม ซึ่งเป็นสถานประกอบกิจการผลิตเส้นหมี่ เส้นก๋วยเตี๋ยว แป้งแปรสภาพ หรือแป้งตราช้าง 3 เศียร มีพนักงานทั้งหมด 1,651 คน ซึ่งมีการนำเข้าแรงงานต่างด้าว สัญชาติเมียนมา จำนวน 499 คน เพื่อตรวจติดตามการดำเนินการตรวจคัดกรองเบื้องต้นการบังคับใช้แรงงาน หรือบริการและการค้ามนุษย์ ตรวจติดตามการดำเนินการตรวจคัดกรองเบื้องต้นการบังคับใช้แรงงาน หรือบริการและการค้ามนุษย์ด้านแรงงานต่างด้าว ตามมาตรฐานการปฏิบัติงานการตรวจคัดกรอง (SOP) ให้เป็นไปตามกลไกการส่งต่อระดับชาติ การรับฟังปัญหา/อุปสรรค ข้อคิดเห็น และข้อเสนอแนะในการใช้แบบ รบ1 และการดำเนินคดีกับผู้นำพาแรงงานต่างด้าวหลบหนีเข้าเมือง จากการตรวจเยี่ยมพบว่า สถานประกอบการได้จัดให้มีสวัสดิการต่าง ๆ การดูแลแรงงานต่างด้าวเท่าเทียมกันกับแรงงานไทย รวมถึงโอกาสความก้าวหน้าในตำแหน่งงานที่สูงขึ้นอีกด้วย
On February 23, 2023, the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General, Mr. Somchai Morakotsriwan, visited Cho Heng Vermicelli Factory Co., Ltd. at Yai Cha Subdistrict, Sam Phran District, Nakhon Pathom Province. The company produces rice vermicelli, flour noodles, processed starch, or Erawan Brand flour. The company employs 1,651 employees, of which 499 are Myanmar nationals. The visit was to monitor the implementation of the preliminary screening of forced labour or services and human trafficking in foreign workers, following the Screening Operational Procedure (SOP) according to the national referral mechanism. The meeting also listened to the problems/obstacles, opinions, and suggestions on using the form Ror.Bor. 1, and prosecuting people who bring illegal migrant workers to the country. From the visit, it was found that the company provides various welfare and care for foreign workers that are equal to Thai workers, including the opportunity to advance to a higher job position as well.
