วันที่ 28 พฤศจิกายน 2566 นายไพโรจน์ โชติกเสถียร ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน มอบหมายให้ นายสมาสภ์ ปัทมะสุคนธ์ ผู้ตรวจราชการกระทรวงแรงงาน เดินทางเข้าเยี่ยมแรงงานไทยในอิสราเอลที่ได้รับการปล่อยตัว ทั้ง 17 ราย พร้อมกับคณะของนายปานปรีย์ พหิทธานุกร รองนายกรัฐมตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ โดยมี นายกิตติ์ธนา ศรีสุริยะ อัครราชทูตที่ปรึกษา (ฝ่ายแรงงาน) ประจำสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเทลอาวีฟ เข้าเยี่ยมแรงงานด้วย ณ โรงพยาบาล Shamir Medical Center ประเทศอิสราเอล
โอกาสนี้ นายสมาสภ์ ปัทมะสุคนธ์ ผู้ตรวจราชการกระทรวงแรงงาน ได้พบปะพูดคุยพร้อมให้ข้อมูลกับแรงงานไทยเกี่ยวกับสิทธิประโยชน์สำหรับผู้ถูกจับกุมตัว โดยทุกรายจะได้รับเงินช่วยเหลือก้อนแรก จำนวน 10,000 เชคเกล ในรูปแบบบัตรเงินสด ซึ่งสามารถใช้ได้ทั่วโลก รวมถึง ช่วง 6 เดือนแรก จะได้รับเงิน 6,900 เชคเกลรายเดือน รวมถึงหากแรงงานประสบปัญหาด้านร่างกาย หรือจิตใจ ขอให้ไปพบแพทย์ พร้อมใบรับรองแพทย์ มายื่นให้อิสราเอล เพื่อประกอบการพิจารณาให้เงินช่วยเหลือรายเดือนหลังจาก 6 เดือนแรก โดยแต่ละรายจะได้รับเงินไม่เท่ากันขึ้นอยู่กับการประเมินด้วย
ทั้งนี้ แรงงานไทยที่ได้รับการปล่อยตัว จะเดินทางกลับถึงประเทศไทยในวันที่ 30 พฤศจิกายนนี้ ด้วยสายการบินอิสราเอลแอร์ไลน์ เที่ยวบินที่ LY 081 ถึงสนามบินสุวรรณภูมิ เวลา 12.05 น.
On November 28, 2023, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Phairoj Chotikasatian, assigned the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General, Mr. Samat Pattamasukon, to visit all 17 Thai workers in Israel who were released as hostages, together with the delegation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Panpree Phitthanukorn. The Minister Counselor (on Labour) at the Royal Thai Embassy in Tel Aviv, Mr. Kitthana Srisuriya, also visited the workers at Shamir Medical Center Hospital, Israel.
The Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General, Mr. Samat Pattamasukon, met, talked to, and provided information to Thai workers about benefits for those who were held hostage. Each person will receive the first financial aid amount of 10,000 Shekels in the form of a cash card, which can be used worldwide. In addition, during the first six months, they will receive 6,900 Shekels monthly. Workers who experience physical or mental issues are asked to see a doctor and obtain a medical certificate. They can provide this to the Israeli counterpart as a consideration in the monthly allowance. After the first 6 months, each person will receive a different amount of money depending on the evaluation.
In this regard, the Thai workers who have been released will return to Thailand on November 30 on Israel Airlines flight LY 081, arriving at Suvarnabhumi Airport at 12.05 hours.
