วันที่ 27 ตุลาคม 2566 นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน ให้การต้อนรับสมาพันธ์สมานฉันท์แรงงานไทย (สสรท.) และองค์กรสมาชิก นำโดย นายสาวิทย์ แก้วหวาน ประธานสมาพันธ์ฯ นายชาลี ลอยสูง ที่ปรึกษาสมาพันธ์ฯ และคณะ ในโอกาสเข้าพบเพื่อแสดงความยินดีเนื่องในโอกาสเข้ารับตำแหน่ง พร้อมรับทราบนโยบายด้านแรงงาน และนำเสนอปัญหาของผู้ใช้แรงงาน โดยมี นายอารี ไกรนรา เลขานุการรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน นายภุชงค์ วรศรี ประจำสำนักเลขาธิการนายกรัฐมนตรี ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ประจำกระทรวงแรงงาน พร้อมด้วย ผู้บริหารระดับสูงกระทรวงแรงงาน เข้าร่วม ณ ห้องจัตุมงคล ชั้น 6 อาคารกระทรวงแรงงาน
นายพิพัฒน์ กล่าวว่า ในวันนี้ผมขอขอบคุณสมาพันธ์สมานฉันท์แรงงานไทย (สสรท.) และองค์กรสมาชิกที่ได้นำตัวแทนสมาคมมาเข้าพบเพื่อหารือในประเด็นต่างๆ ด้านแรงงาน การขึ้นค่าแรงขั้นต่ำที่จะปรับขึ้นแน่นอนภายในเดือนธันวาคมที่จะถึงนี้ เพื่อเป็นของขวัญปีใหม่ให้กับพี่น้องแรงงาน แต่จะขึ้นเป็นรายจังหวัด ไม่ได้เท่ากันทั้งหมด ส่วนข้อเสนอของสมาพันธ์ฯ ที่ต้องการให้นำหลักการโครงสร้างค่าแรงมาใช้ในสถานประกอบการแทนการปรับค่าจ้างขั้นต่ำในแต่ละปีนั้น ในส่วนนี้ผมพร้อมรับไปดำเนินการแต่จะขอดูในรายละเอียดก่อน ส่วนกรณีที่สมาพันธ์ฯ ได้ขอความช่วยเหลือให้กระทรวงแรงงานช่วยตรวจสอบข้อเท็จจริงกรณีผู้ประกันตนรายหนึ่งที่ทำงานแผนกล้างและเคลือบผิวในบริษัทผลิตชิ้นส่วนรถยนต์แห่งหนึ่งอยู่ที่ อ.ปลวกแดง จ.ระยอง มีอาการป่วยไอเรื้อรัง เนื่องจากเกรงว่าจะเป็นสาเหตุจากการทำงาน จึงติดต่อขอเข้าวินิจฉัยคลีนิคโรคและขอใช้สิทธิ์กองทุนเงินทดแทนจากประกันสังคม ในเรื่องนี้ผมได้รับปากที่จะประสานกับสำนักงานประกันสังคม เพื่อให้เจ้าหน้าที่ประกันสังคมในพื้นที่เข้าไปช่วยเหลืออย่างเร่งด่วน เพื่อให้ผู้ประกันตนรายนี้ได้รับการวินิจฉัยและเข้าถึงสิทธิประโยชน์ต่อไป
ด้าน นายสาวิทย์ แก้วหวาน ประธานสมาพันธ์สมานฉันท์แรงงานไทย (สสรท.) กล่าวว่า สมาคมฯ ขอขอบคุณท่านรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงานอย่างยิ่งที่ท่านเปิดโอกาสให้สมาชิก สสรท.ได้เข้าพบเพื่อแสดงความยินดีเนื่องในโอกาสรับตำแหน่ง และรับทราบนโยบายด้านแรงงาน ซึ่งต้องขอชื่นชมท่านรัฐมนตรีพิพัฒน์ฯ ที่สามารถบริหารจัดการสถานการณ์ช่วยเหลือแรงงานไทยที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากความไม่สงบในอิสราเอลได้เป็นอย่างดี ส่วนข้อหารือต่างๆ ด้านแรงงานที่ได้หารือกันในวันนี้จะได้พูดคุยประสานงานอย่างใกล้ชิดต่อไป
On October 27, 2023, the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, welcomed the Thai Labour Reconciliation Committee (TLRC) and member organizations, led by the President of the Committee, Mr. Sawit Kaewwan, the Advisor to the Committee, Mr. Charlie Loisung, and delegation, on meeting to congratulate him on taking the position, to acknowledge labour policies and present issues in the workforce. The Secretariat to the Labour Minister, Mr. Aree Krainara, from the Prime Minister’s Secretariat’s Office performing duties for the Ministry of Labour, and the Ministry of Labour’s executives joined at the Chatumongkol Room, 6th floor, Ministry of Labour.
Mr. Phiphat said that today, he thanked the Thai Labour Reconciliation Committee (TLRC) and member organizations for taking representatives to discuss various labour issues, including the minimum wage increase that will become effective this December as a New Year’s gift to the workforce. The amount will depend on each province. Not all are equal. On the Committee’s proposal on using the principles of wage structure to be used in establishments instead of adjusting the minimum wage each year, the Labour Minister said he is ready to take action but would like to look at the details first. The Committee also requested assistance from the Ministry of Labour to investigate the case of an insured person who works in the washing and coating department of an auto parts manufacturing company in Pluak Daeng District, Rayong Province. The worker suffers from a chronic cough, and the Committee fears the workplace caused it. Therefore, they have contacted for a clinic diagnosis and requested to use the compensation fund rights from Social Security. In this matter, the Labour Minister agreed to coordinate with the Social Security Office so that the officers in the area can provide help urgently so that this insured person can receive a diagnosis and access further benefits.
The President of the Thai Labour Reconciliation Committee (TLRC), Mr. Sawit Kaewwan, said that the Committee thanks the Labour Minister for allowing the TLRC members to meet and congratulate him upon taking the position and upon informing the labour policies. He praised the Labour Minister for supporting Thai workers affected by the unrest in Israel very well. As for the various labour topics discussed today, they will continue to be discussed and coordinated closely.
