นายภูมิพัฒน์ เหมือนจันทร์ โฆษกกระทรวงแรงงาน เปิดเผยว่า นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รมว.แรงงาน ผลักดันโครงการแรงงานพันธุ์ดี ตามวิถีเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง โดยมอบหมายให้กรมสวัสดิการและคุ้มครองแรงงานเข้าไปส่งเสริมให้นายจ้างสนับสนุนงบประมาณ พันธุ์พืช/พันธุ์สัตว์ หรือพื้นที่ว่างเปล่าให้ลูกจ้างใช้ประโยชน์ในการเพาะปลูก เลี้ยงสัตว์ เพื่อนำผลผลิตที่ได้ไปบริโภคหรือแบ่งปันกันในครัวเรือน และนำส่วนที่เหลือไปจำหน่ายเพิ่มรายได้ให้กับครอบครัว รวมทั้งยังเป็นแนวทางพัฒนาอาชีพเสริมให้แก่ลูกจ้างที่กำลังเข้าสู่วัยเกษียณ ซึ่งเป็นการน้อมนำแนวพระราชดำริของพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวรัชกาลที่ 9 และพระราชปณิธานของรัชกาลปัจจุบัน ในการสืบสาน รักษา และต่อยอดโครงการอันเนื่องมาจากพระราชดำริเกษตรทฤษฎีใหม่ เพื่อให้นายจ้าง ลูกจ้าง สามารถพึ่งพาตัวเองได้ตามหลักปรัชญาของเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง
โครงการดังกล่าวเริ่มดำเนินการตั้งแต่ปี 2564 ซึ่งอยู่ในช่วงการแพร่ระบาดของโรคโควิด-19 เป็นการแก้ไขปัญหาด้านแรงงานที่มุ่งเน้นเรื่องความมั่นคงทางอาหาร และช่วยสร้างความสัมพันธ์ที่ดีระหว่างนายจ้างกับลูกจ้าง ซึ่งที่ผ่านมามีทั้งสถานประกอบกิจการขนาดใหญ่และขนาดเล็กหลายแห่ง นายจ้างลูกจ้างทุกรุ่นทุกวัย เข้าร่วมโครงการและมีผลตอบรับที่ดีมาก โดยไม่ได้มองว่าเป็นเรื่องยากลำบากเพราะทุกคนรู้จักการประยุกต์ใช้ให้เป็น ทั้งนี้ตั้งแต่ปี 2564 – 2567 มีสถานประกอบกิจการเข้าร่วมโครงการแล้ว 1,237 แห่ง ลูกจ้างได้รับประโยชน์ 156,608 คน ช่วยลดรายจ่าย เพิ่มรายได้ คิดเป็นมูลค่า 109.52 ล้านบาท ซึ่งกระทรวงแรงงานตั้งเป้าเดินหน้าเพิ่มกลุ่มเป้าหมายให้มากขึ้นอีกในปีต่อ ๆ ไป เพื่อให้เกิดประโยชน์อย่างยั่งยืนต่อทั้งลูกจ้างและนายจ้างมากที่สุด
โฆษกกระทรวงแรงงาน กล่าวว่า วันนี้หลายคนยังเข้าใจคำว่า “เศรษฐกิจพอเพียง” แบบผิด ๆ คิดว่าแค่ปลูกผัก เกี่ยวข้าว และความเหนื่อยยาก แต่ที่น่ากลัวกว่านั้นคือการนำไปถ่ายทอดอย่างไม่ถูกต้องจนสังคมสับสน ทั้ง ๆ ที่ความจริง “เศรษฐกิจพอเพียง” เป็นเรื่องของหลักความคิดที่สอนให้คนรู้จักความพอประมาณ มีเหตุผล มีภูมิคุ้มกัน บนพื้นฐานของความรู้และคุณธรรม และสามารถนำไปปรับใช้แก้ปัญหาในการดำเนินชีวิตได้กับคนทุกกลุ่ม ทุกวัย ทุกอาชีพ เรียกว่า การใช้ชีวิตตามอัตภาพ ไม่มากหรือน้อยเกินไปจนตัวเองเดือดร้อน
The Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson, Mr. Phumiphat Mueanchan, said that the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, has pushed forward the Good-Breed Labour Project according to the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy. The Department of Labour Protection and Welfare has been assigned to encourage employers to support the budget, including plant/animal species or empty land for employees to use for cultivation and raising animals, to use the produce for consumption, sharing among households, and selling the remainder to increase income for their family. It is also a guideline for developing additional careers for employees who are entering retirement age. The project is a reflection of the royal initiative of His Majesty King Rama IX and the royal aspirations of the current monarchy in continuing, maintaining, and expanding the royal initiatives of the New Agricultural Theories so that employers and employees can be self-reliant according to the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy.
The project started in 2021 during the COVID-19 outbreak. It is a solution to workers’ issues that focus on food security and help build good relationships between employers and employees. In the past, there were many large and small business establishments. Employers and employees of all generations and all ages participated in the project and got positive feedback. They did not view it as a difficult matter, as everyone knew how to apply it. From 2021 to 2024, 1,237 business establishments participated in the project, with 156,608 employees benefiting from it, helping to reduce their expenses and increase income, valued at 109.52 million Baht. The Ministry of Labour aims to move forward by expanding the target group further to create the most sustainable benefits for both employees and employers.
The Ministry of Labour’s spokesperson said that today, many people understand the term “sufficiency economy” in the wrong way, thinking that it’s just growing vegetables, harvesting rice, and being tired. But beyond that, it has been incorrectly conveyed to the point of confusion in society. The “Sufficiency Economy” is a matter of principles that teach people to be moderate, reasonable, and have immunity on the basis of knowledge and morality. The teachings can be applied to solve problems in life for people of all groups, all ages, and all occupations to live life according to themself, not too much or too little to the point of causing themselves trouble.
