เมื่อวันที่ 1 พฤศจิกายน 2566 เวลา 15.00 น. นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงานได้แถลงข่าว “การขยายระยะเวลาลงทะเบียนใช้สิทธิเลือกตั้งผู้แทนฝ่ายนายจ้างและผู้แทนฝ่ายผู้ประกันตนเป็นกรรมการประกันสังคม และขยายเวลารับสมัครเลือกตั้งฯ ตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 – 10 พฤศจิกายน 2566 โดยมี นายภุชงค์ วรศรี ประจำสำนักเลขาธิการนายกรัฐมนตรี ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ประจำกระทรวงแรงงาน นายบุญสงค์ ทัพชัยยุทธ์ เลขาธิการสำนักงานประกันสังคม และผู้บริหารสำนักงานประกันสังคม ร่วมแถลงข่าวต่อสื่อมวลชน ณ ห้องประชุมกระทรวงแรงงาน ชั้น 5 อาคารกระทรวงแรงงาน
นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน เปิดเผยกับสื่อมวลชนว่า ตามที่คณะกรรมการการเลือกตั้งผู้แทนฝ่ายนายจ้างและผู้แทนฝ่ายผู้ประกันตน ได้มีประกาศให้มีการเลือกตั้งผู้แทนฝ่ายนายจ้างและผู้แทนฝ่ายผู้ประกันตน โดยกำหนดให้ผู้มีสิทธิเลือกตั้ง คือ นายจ้าง ผู้ประกันตนมาตรา 33 มาตรา 39 และมาตรา 40 ลงทะเบียนขอใช้สิทธิเลือกตั้ง และเปิดรับสมัครรับเลือกตั้ง ได้สิ้นสุดลงเมื่อวันที่ 31 ตุลาคม 2566 ที่ผ่านมา โดยจัดให้มีการเลือกตั้งในวันอาทิตย์ที่ 24 ธันวาคม 2566 เวลา 08.00 -16.00 น. นั้น
“เพื่อให้นายจ้างและผู้ประกันตนที่มีสิทธิเลือกตั้งได้ลงทะเบียนเพื่อใช้สิทธิเลือกตั้งและมีส่วนร่วมอย่างแท้จริง โดยสามารถเลือกผู้แทนฝ่ายนายจ้างและผู้แทนฝ่ายผู้ประกันตนจากจำนวนผู้สมัครที่เพิ่มมากขึ้น อันจะเป็นประโยชน์แก่นายจ้างและผู้ประกันตน สอดคล้องกับการขยายกำหนดเวลาการลงทะเบียนเพื่อใช้สิทธิเลือกตั้ง โดยคณะกรรมการจัดการเลือกตั้งฯ ในการประชุมครั้งที่ 4/2566 เมื่อวันที่ 30 ตุลาคม 2566 มีมติเห็นชอบให้ขยายเวลาลงทะเบียนใช้สิทธิเลือกตั้ง และขยายเวลาเปิดรับสมัครผู้แทนฝ่ายนายจ้างผู้แทนฝ่ายผู้ประกันตนเป็นกรรมการในคณะกรรมการประกันสังคม ออกไปอีก 10 วัน ตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 – 10 พฤศจิกายน 2566”
นายพิพัฒน์ รมว.แรงงาน ได้กล่าวเชิญชวนนายจ้าง ผู้ประกันตน ทั่วประเทศลงทะเบียนใช้สิทธิเลือกตั้งได้ถึงวันที่ 10 พฤศจิกายน 2566 โดยพร้อมเพียงกัน ทั้งนี้ นายจ้าง ผู้ประกันตนสามารถลงทะเบียนใช้สิทธิเลือกตั้งผ่านช่องทาง ดังนี้
1. ทางเว็บไซต์ www.sso.go.th ได้ตลอด 24 ชั่วโมง
2. สำนักงานประกันสังคมกรุงเทพมหานครพื้นที่ 1 – 12 สำนักงานประกันสังคมจังหวัดและสาขา ตั้งแต่เวลา 08.30 – 16.30 น. (ทุกวันไม่เว้นวันหยุดราชการ)
3. พร้อมประกาศรายชื่อผู้มีสิทธิเลือกตั้ง ในวันที่ 21 พฤศจิกายน 2566
สำหรับผู้สนใจสมัครรับเลือกตั้งสามารถยื่นใบสมัครได้ที่สำนักงานประกันสังคมกรุงเทพมหานครพื้นที่/จังหวัด ตั้งแต่เวลา 08.30 – 16.30 น. (ทุกวันไม่เว้นวันหยุดราชการ) พร้อมประกาศรายชื่อผู้สมัครรับเลือกตั้ง และหมายเลขผู้สมัคร ในวันที่ 1 ธันวาคม 2566 เพื่อได้ตัวแทนฝ่ายนายจ้าง ตัวแทนฝ่ายผู้ประกันตนเป็นกรรมการในคณะกรรมการประกันสังคม ในการดูแลสิทธิประโยชน์ของผู้ประกันตน และบริหารกองทุนประกันสังคมให้มีเสถียรภาพ อันจะนำไปสู่การยกระดับพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตของนายจ้าง ผู้ประกันตน สามารถสอบถามรายละเอียด และคำแนะนำในการจัดการเลือกตั้งเพิ่มเติมได้ที่ ศูนย์อำนวยการเลือกตั้งผู้แทนฝ่ายนายจ้างและผู้แทนฝ่ายผู้ประกันตนเป็นกรรมการในคณะกรรมการประกันสังคม (ศอ.กต.นจ.ผปต.) โทร. 02-956-2222 ในวันและเวลาราชการ
On November 1, 2023, at 15.00 hours, the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, held a press conference on “extending the registration period to exercise the right to elect employer and insured person representatives as members of the Social Security Committee and extending the time to apply for elections from November 1 – 10, 2023.” From the Prime Minister’s Secretariat’s Office, performing duties for the Ministry of Labour, Mr. Phuchong Worasri, the Social Security Office’s Secretary-General, Mr. Boonsong Thapchaiyut, and administrators of the Social Security Office, attended the press conference for the media at the Ministry of Labour’s conference room, 5th floor, Ministry of Labour.
The Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, revealed to the media that according to the Election Commission of Employer and Insured Person Representatives, it was announced that there will be an election for representatives of employers and insured persons. The election would require voters, namely employers and insured persons under Sections 33, 39, and 40, to register to exercise their voting rights. It would also open for applications for election, ending on October 31, 2023. The election will be held on Sunday, December 24, 2023, from 08.00 to 16.00 hours.
“Employers and insured person voters can register to exercise their right to vote. To participate, they can choose employer and insured person representatives from an ever-increasing number of applicants, which will benefit employers and insured persons. This aligns with the deadline extension for registering to exercise voting rights. The Election Management Committee Meeting No. 4/2023 on October 30, 2023, resolved to approve extending the time to register and exercise voting rights and to extend the application period for employer and insured person representatives to be members of the Social Security Committee for another ten days, from November 1-10, 2023.”
The Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, invited employers and insured persons nationwide to register to exercise their voting rights until November 10, 2023. At the same time, employers and insured persons can register to exercise their voting rights through the following channels:
1. Via the www.sso.go.th website, available 24 hours a day.
2. The Bangkok Social Security Office, Area 1 – 12, Provincial Social Security Offices and branches from 8.30 to 16.30 hours (every day except public holidays).
3. Names of eligible voters will be announced on November 21, 2023.
Those interested in running for election can submit their applications at the Social Security Office in Bangkok or the provincial areas from 08.30 hours to 16.30 hours (every day, excluding public holidays). The announcement of the names of election candidates and applicant numbers will be on December 1, 2023, to obtain an employer and insured person representative as members of the Social Security Committee. Committee members will take care of the benefits for insured persons and manage the Social Security Fund to ensure stability. This will lead to improving the quality of life of employers.
