เมื่อวันที่ 7 ธันวาคม 2566 นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน พร้อมด้วย นายอารี ไกรนรา เลขานุการรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน นายภุชงค์ วรศรี ประจำสำนักเลขาธิการนายกรัฐมนตรี ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ประจำกระทรวงแรงงาน นายนันธวัช เจริญวรรณ รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี นายบุญสงค์ ทัพชัยยุทธ์ เลขาธิการสำนักงานประกันสังคม คณะผู้บริหารระดับสูงกระทรวงแรงงาน และเจ้าหน้าที่ ลงพื้นที่ตรวจเยี่ยมพร้อมให้กำลังใจผู้ประกันตนที่ทุพพลภาพในจังหวัดสุราษฏร์ธานี จำนวน 2 ราย โดยมีครอบครัวผู้ประกันตนให้การต้อนรับอย่างอบอุ่น
นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน ได้เผยว่า วันนี้ตนได้นำคณะผู้บริหารกระทรวงแรงงาน และเจ้าหน้าที่จากสำนักงานประกันสังคม เดินทางมาที่จังหวัดสุราษฏร์ธานี เพื่อลงพื้นที่เยี่ยมผู้ประกันตนที่ทุพพลภาพ โดยได้นำความห่วงใย รวมถึงกำลังใจมามอบให้ผู้ประกันตนในระบบประกันสังคม และถือเป็นโอกาสดีที่ได้เข้ามาพูดคุย แนะนำสิทธิประโยชน์ อีกทั้งอำนวยความสะดวกในการติดต่อประสานงานกับหน่วยงานในสังกัดกระทรวงแรงงานอีกด้วย ในการนี้ ยังได้นำของใช้เครื่องอุปโภค บริโภค ที่จำเป็น มามอบให้ผู้ประกันตนที่ทุพพลภาพ ซึ่งอยู่ในความดูแลของสำนักงานประกันสังคมจังหวัดสุราษฏร์ธานี จำนวน 2 ราย โดยผู้ประกันตนรายแรกคือ นายไพศิษฐ์ สินพูลเกิด อายุ 57 ปี เป็นผู้ประกันตนมาตรา 39 อาศัยอยู่กับภรรยาและบุตร ในตำบลมะขามเตี้ย อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี ทุพพลภาพจากโรคเส้นเลือดในสมองแตก เป็นเหตุให้แขนและขาข้างขวาอ่อนแรง พูดได้ไม่ชัดเจน ไม่สามารถเดินได้ สูญเสียสมรรถภาพในการทำงานของร่างกายร้อยละ 70 ได้รับสิทธิเป็นผู้ทุพพลภาพตั้งแต่วันที่ 15 พฤศจิกายน 2555 ได้รับเงินทดแทนการขาดรายได้เดือนละ 2,400 บาท ตลอดชีวิต และผู้ประกันตนรายที่ 2 คือ นายเฉลิมชัย รุ่งเรือง อายุ 52 ปี เป็นผู้ประกันตนมาตรา 39 อาศัยอยู่กับภรรยาและบุตร ในตำบลมะขามเตี้ย อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี ทุพพลภาพจากโรคไขสันหลังอักเสบ เป็นเหตุให้ขาทั้ง 2 ข้างอ่อนแรง เดินได้โดยใช้ไม้เท้าช่วยพยุง ช่วยเหลือตนเองได้บางส่วน สูญเสียสมรรถภาพในการทำงานของร่างกายร้อยละ 50 ได้รับสิทธิเป็นผู้ทุพพลภาพตั้งแต่วันที่ 20 ตุลาคม 2558 ได้รับเงินทดแทนการขาดรายได้เดือนละ 2,400 บาท
ด้าน นายบุญสงค์ ทัพชัยยุทธ์ เลขาธิการสำนักงานประกันสังคม กล่าวว่า ไม่ว่าผู้ประกันตนจะอยู่ที่ใดก็ตาม สำนักงานประกันสังคมพร้อมให้ความช่วยเหลือ ดูแลอย่างทั่วถึงเพื่อให้ผู้ประกันตนมีคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดี โดยยึดถือประโยชน์สูงสุดของผู้ประกันตนเป็นสำคัญ

The insured person’s family gave a warm welcome.
The Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, said that today, he led the Ministry of Labour’s executive team and officials from the Social Security Office to Surat Thani Province to visit the area and to visit disabled insured persons, sharing words of encouragement to those insured in the social security system. It was also an opportunity to speak to the insured persons and introduce benefits. They also facilitated coordination with agencies under the Ministry of Labour. On this occasion, consumer items were also given to two insured persons with disabilities under the care of the Surat Thani Provincial Social Security Office. The first insured person was Mr. Paisit Sinpoolkerd, 57 years old, a Section 39 insured person. He lives with his wife and children in Makham Tia Subdistrict, Mueang District, Surat Thani Province. He is disabled from a cerebral hemorrhage, causing weakness in the right arm and leg. He cannot speak clearly and is unable to walk. He lost 70 percent of his body’s ability to function. He has received disability rights since November 15, 2012, receiving compensation for lost income of 2,400 Baht monthly for life. The second insured person was Mr. Chalermchai Rungruang Ayu, 52 years old, insured under Section 39. He lives with his wife and children in Makham Tia Subdistrict, Mueang District, Surat Thani Province. He is disabled from meningitis. As a result, both legs are weak, and he requires a cane to walk. He is partially able to help himself. He lost 50 percent of his body’s ability to work. He has received disability rights since October 20, 2015, receiving compensation for lost income of 2,400 Baht monthly.
The Social Security Office’s Secretary-General, Mr. Boonsong Thapchaiyut, said that regardless of where the insured persons are, the Social Security Office is ready to help and provide thorough care so that insured persons have a good quality of life by upholding the insured’s best interests as a priority.
