วันที่ 14 ตุลาคม 2566 นายไพโรจน์ โชติกเสถียร ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน เปิดเผยว่า จากสถานการณ์ความไม่สงบในประเทศอิสราเอลในขณะนี้ ทำให้มีแรงงานไทยที่ได้รับผลกระทบบางรายยังไม่สามารถทำงานได้และอยู่ในพื้นที่หลบภัยนั้น กระทรวงแรงงาน โดยท่านพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน ได้มีความห่วงใยต่อความเป็นอยู่ของพี่น้องแรงงานไทยที่ได้รับผลกระทบจากเหตุการณ์ดังกล่าว จึงได้สั่งการให้กระทรวงแรงงานเร่งให้ความช่วยเหลือโดยจับมือกับภาคเอกชนบริจาคสิ่งของเครื่องอุปโภคบริโภคเพื่อไปช่วยเหลือแรงงานไทยในอิสราเอล ซึ่งพบว่าขณะนี้ได้มีผู้ประกอบการ ภาคเอกชน สมาคม ตลอดจนห้างร้านต่างๆ ได้ทยอยนำสิ่งของข้าวสาร อาหารแห้งมาบริจาคเพื่อให้กระทรวงแรงงานนำไปช่วยเหลือแรงงานไทย อาทิ บริษัท อนุสรณ์มหาชัยซูริมิ จำกัด บริจาคปลากระป๋องในซอสมะเขือเทศ ยี่ห้อ HICHEF สมาคมการค้าผู้ประกอบการรับเหมาแรงงาน ได้มอบข้าวสาร บริษัท จีเอ็ม บิสสิเนส แอนด์ คอนซัลแท็นท์ จำกัด บะหมี่กึ่งสำเร็จรูป และบะหมี่ เป็นต้น โดยสิ่งของเหล่านี้กระทรวงแรงงานจะจัดส่งไปให้ทูตแรงงานที่อิสราเอล นำไปแจกจ่ายต่อให้กับแรงงานที่ติดค้างอยู่พื้นที่หลบภัยต่างๆ เพื่อบรรเทาความเดือดร้อนในเบื้องต้นต่อไป
ทั้งนี้ ผู้ประกอบการภาคเอกชนใดที่มีความประสงค์จะนำสิ่งของ ข้าวสาร อาหารแห้ง เครื่องอุปโภคบริโภค มาบริจาคเพื่อนำไปช่วยเหลือแรงงานไทยที่ติดค้างอยู่ในพื้นที่หลบภัยในอิสราเอล สามารถติดต่อได้ที่ กองกลาง สำนักงานปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน โทรศัพท์ 02-2321142 , 02-2321443 , 02-2321156 และ 098-4163636 , 089-9876016 , 081-2480702
On October 14, 2023, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Phairoj Chotikasatian, spoke about the current unrest in Israel. As a result, some affected Thai workers can still not work and remain in the refuge area. The Ministry of Labour, by the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, is concerned about the well-being of Thai workers affected by the incident. Therefore, he ordered the Ministry of Labour to expedite assistance by working with the private sector to donate consumer items to help Thai workers in Israel. Now, businesses, the private sector, associations, and various stores are gradually supplying rice, dried foods, and donations to the Ministry of Labour to help Thai workers. For example, Anusorn Mahachai Surimi Company Limited donated canned fish in tomato sauce under the HICHEF brand. The Outsourcing Services Association gave rice, and GM Business and Consultants Co., Ltd. donated instant noodles and noodles, for example. These items will be sent by the Ministry of Labour to the Labour Ambassador in Israel to be distributed to workers stranded in various refuge areas.
