วันที่ 24 กรกฎาคม 2566 นายสุชาติ ชมกลิ่น รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดกิจกรรมจิตอาสากระทรวงแรงงาน เราทำความดีด้วยหัวใจ ปันน้ำใจพี่น้องแรงงานไทยในสิงคโปร์ เพื่อเฉลิมพระเกียรติเนื่องในโอกาสวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษาพระบาทสมเด็จพระวชิรเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว 28 กรกฎาคม 2566 ในโอกาสเดินทางเยือนสาธารณรัฐสิงคโปร์ระหว่างวันที่ 22-25 กรกฎาคม 2566 เพื่อร่วมงานแข่งขันฝีมือแรงงานอาเซียน ครั้งที่ 13 โดยมี นายสุรชัย ชัยตระกูลทอง ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงแรงงาน นายบุญชอบ สุทธมนัสวงษ์ ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน นางเธียรรัตน์ นะวะมะวัฒน์ โฆษกกระทรวงแรงงาน (ฝ่ายการเมือง) นางสาวบุปผา เรืองสุด อธิบดีกรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน นายวรรณรัตน์ ศรีสุขใส รองปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน นายวุฒิศักดิ์ ปฐมศาสตร์ อัครราชทูตที่ปรึกษา (ฝ่ายแรงงาน) สำนักงานแรงงานในประเทศสิงคโปร์ ผู้บริหารระดับสูงกระทรวงแรงงาน และแรงงานไทยจำนวน 40 คน เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ด้วย ณ สถานที่ก่อสร้างที่พักอาศัย AMO Residence Condo เลขที่ 21 Ang Mo Kio Rise, Singapore 569417 ซึ่งเป็นบริษัทอสังหาริมทรัพย์ด้านที่พักอาศัย ดำเนินการก่อสร้างคอนโดมีเนียมหลายโครงการกระจายอยู่ตามจุดต่าง ๆ ในสิงคโปร์ ณ สถานที่ไปจัดกิจกรรมในครั้งนี้เป็นการสร้างตึกแฝด 25 ชั้น จำนวน 372 ห้อง โดยบริษัทนี้มีการจ้างงานแรงงานไทยจำนวนมากมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง และให้โอกาสกับแรงงานชาวไทย แต่งตั้งให้เป็นผู้จัดการที่ควบคุมทุกไซต์งานด้วย
นายสุชาติ กล่าวว่า ในวันนี้ผมพร้อมด้วยผู้บริหารระดับสูงกระทรวงแรงงาน ได้มาร่วมกิจกรรมจิตอาสา กระทรวงแรงงาน เราทำความดีด้วยหัวใจ ปันน้ำใจพี่น้องแรงงานไทยในสิงคโปร์ การจัดกิจกรรมครั้งนี้เป็นความมุ่งหวังของรัฐบาลภายใต้การนำของท่านนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงกลาโหม พล.อ.ประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา และกระทรวงแรงงานที่จะใช้โอกาสในการมาร่วมงานการแข่งขันฝีมือแรงงานอาเซียน ครั้งที่ 13 (WorldSkills ASEAN Singapore 2023) ณ ประเทศสิงคโปร์ ร่วมกันเฉลิมฉลองและแสดงออกถึงความรักความสามัคคีอันมีสถาบันพระมหากษัตริย์เป็นศูนย์รวมจิตใจของปวงชนชาวไทยในเดือนมหามงคลที่เป็นวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา พระบาทสมเด็จพระปรเมนทรรามาธิบดี ศรีสินทรมหาวชิราลงกรณ พระวชิรเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว ด้วยการนำสิ่งของเครื่องอุปโภคบริโภคที่หลายภาคส่วนทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชนจากประเทศไทย และประเทศสิงคโปร์ ร่วมกันบริจาค อาทิ เสื้อผ้า ข้าวสาร บะหมี่กึ่งสำเร็จรูป ขนม อาหารสำเร็จรูป น้ำพริก ถั่วทอด เป็นต้น มามอบให้กับตัวแทนแรงงานไทยพร้อมให้กำลังใจแรงงานให้ทำงานอย่างมีความสุข และสุขภาพพลานามัยแข็งแรง ทำงานได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
“การจัดกิจกรรมจิตอาสากระทรวงแรงงาน เราทำความดีด้วยหัวใจ ปันน้ำใจพี่น้องแรงงานไทยในสิงคโปร์ ในครั้งนี้ กระทรวงแรงงาน โดยสำนักงานแรงงานในประเทศสิงคโปร์จัดขึ้น โดยนำสิ่งของเครื่องใช้ ข้าวสาร อาหารแห้งมามอบให้เพื่อเป็นกำลังใจและแทนความห่วงใยที่มีต่อแรงงานที่มาทำงานในต่างแดนช่วยหาเงินเข้าประเทศ เปรียบเสมือนนักรบที่ออกมาต่อสู้เพื่อความกินดี อยู่ดีของครอบครัว และเป็นผู้มีส่วนสำคัญอย่างยิ่งในการช่วยพัฒนาประเทศ ที่สำคัญเป็นการแสดงออกถึงความจงรักภักดี สำนึกในพระมหากรุณาธิคุณต่อสถาบันพระมหากษัตริย์ รวมทั้งสร้างความสมัครสมาน เป็นอันหนึ่งอันเดียวกันของแรงงานไทยในต่างแดน ตลอดจนการสร้างจิตสำนึกให้แรงงานไทยรู้จักการให้ แบ่งปัน มีจิตอาสา มีความเสียสละ อุทิศตนเพื่อประโยชน์ส่วนรวม มีความกตัญญูตอบแทนบุญคุณแผ่นดิน ร่วมทำความดีโดยไม่หวังผลตอบแทน และไม่เห็นต่อประโยชน์ส่วนตนอีกด้วย”นายสุชาติ กล่าวตอนท้าย
On July 24, 2023, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, presided over the opening ceremony of the Ministry of Labor’s volunteer activity, doing good deeds with heart and sharing kindness with Thai workers in Singapore. The activity was in honour of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua’s birthday on July 28, 2023, and on the occasion of visiting Singapore between July 22 t0 25, 2023, to attend the 13th WorldSkills ASEAN. The Assistant to the Labour Minister, Mr. Surachai Chaitrakulthong, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, the Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson (on politics), Mrs. Thienrat Navamawat, the Department of Skill Development’s Director-General, Ms. Bubpha Rueangsud, the Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Wannarat Srisuksai, the Minister Counselor (on Labour) from the Labour Office in Singapore, Mr. Wuttisak Pathomsart, the Ministry of Labour’s executives, and 40 Thai workers participated in the event. The occasion took place at the residential construction site, AMO Residence Condo, 21 Ang Mo Kio Rise, Singapore 569417. The company operates in residential real estate, carrying out the construction of many condominium projects around Singapore. This event was held at a 25-story twin-tower building construction site with 372 rooms. This company has continuously employed many Thai workers and given opportunities to Thai workers to be appointed as managers who supervise all work sites.
Mr. Suchart said that today, he and the Ministry of Labour’s executives joined the Ministry of Labor’s volunteer activity, doing good deeds with heart and sharing kindness with Thai workers in Singapore. The government organized the event under the leadership of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense General Prayuth Chan-ocha and on the occasion of the Ministry of Labour attending the 13th WorldSkills ASEAN Singapore 2023. It joins people to celebrate and express love and unity with the monarchy as the heart of the Thai people in the auspicious month of His Majesty the King’s birthday. They gave out consumer goods from organizations from both the public and private sectors from Thailand and Singapore, donating items such as clothes, rice, instant noodles, snacks, instant foods, chili pastes, and fried beans. The goods were given to Thai worker representatives to encourage workers to work happily and to maintain good health to work efficiently.
“The Ministry of Labor’s volunteer activity, doing good deeds with heart, sharing kindness with Thai workers in Singapore, was organized by the Ministry of Labour’s Labour Office in Singapore. Items were given to workers, such as utensils, rice, and dry foods, to encourage and show care for workers who work abroad, helping bring money into the country. Such workers are like warriors going out to fight for the well-being of their families. They are important contributors to the country’s development. The activity represents loyalty and an appreciation towards the monarchy, building solidarity and unity of Thai workers abroad. It also creates awareness among Thai workers to know how to give and share, have a volunteer spirit and sacrifice, be dedicated to the common good, gratitude in return for the merits of the land, do good deeds without expecting anything in return, and not prioritizing their interests,” concluded Mr. Suchart.
