วันที่ 20 กรกฎาคม 2566 นายสุชาติ ชมกลิ่น รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน มอบนายบุญชอบ สุทธมนัสวงษ์ ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน พร้อมด้วยนายวรรณรัตน์ ศรีสุขใส รองปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน และนางสาวบุปผา เรืองสุด อธิบดีกรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน ในฐานะเป็นหน่วยงานดำเนินการจัดส่งเยาวชนเข้าแข่งขันฯ ร่วมส่งตัวแทนเยาวชนไทยเดินทางร่วมการแข่งขันฝีมือแรงงานอาเซียน ครั้งที่ 13 ณ ท่าอากาศยานสุวรรณภูมิ
นายบุญชอบ สุทธมนัสวงษ์ ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน กล่าวว่า วันนี้นายสุชาติ ชมกลิ่น รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน ได้มอบหมายให้นำทีมคณะผู้บริหารสังกัดกระทรวงแรงงานร่วมส่งตัวแทนเยาวชนไทย เพื่อเดินทางไปแข่งขันฝีมือแรงงานอาเซียน ครั้งที่ 13 ที่สาธารณรัฐสิงคโปร์ ระหว่างวันที่ 18 – 28 กรกฎาคม 2566 พร้อมส่งกำลังใจและความห่วงใยให้เดินทางด้วยความปลอดภัย และขอให้แข่งขันอย่างสุดความสามารถตามที่ได้ฝึกซ้อมมา ทุกคนคือความภาคภูมิใจของประเทศไทย โดยเมื่อน้องๆไปถึงสาธารณรัฐสิงคโปร์ จะมีการเข้าร่วมกิจกรรม One School ในวันที่ 21 กรกฎาคม 2566 มีพิธีเปิดการแข่งขันฯ ในวันที่ 22 กรกฎาคม 2566 และเริ่มการแข่งขันในวันที่ 23 – 25 กรกฎาคม 2566 เป็นเวลา 3 วันเต็ม
นายบุญชอบ กล่าวต่อว่า การแข่งขันในครั้งนี้ ถึงแม้ว่าน้องๆเยาวชนจะมีเวลาในการฝึกซ้อมไม่มากนัก แต่ทุกคนมีความมุ่งมั่น ตั้งใจที่จะคว้าเหรียญรางวัลมาให้ประเทศไทยเป็นอย่างมาก โดยผลงานการแข่งขันฝีมือแรงงานอาเซียน 3 ครั้งที่ผ่านมา น้องๆเยาวชนไทยคว้ารางวัลกลับมาให้ประเทศไทยในทุกๆครั้ง และในครั้งนี้ทางกระทรวงแรงงาน กรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงานมีความมั่นใจมากว่าน้องๆ จะคว้าเหรียญรางวัลในการแข่งขันฝีมือแรงงานอาเซียนครั้งที่ 13 นี้กลับมาให้ประเทศไทยได้อย่างแน่นอน
ด้านของนางสาวบุปผา เรืองสุด อธิบดีกรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน กล่าวเพิ่มเติมว่า เป็นกำลังใจให้กับเยาวชนทุกคน ขอให้ทำเต็มที่ และที่สำคัญที่สุดคือขอให้ทุกคนดูแลสุขภาพด้วย และจะไปให้กำลังใจน้องๆ ในวันแข่งขันคือ 23-25 กรกฎาคม 2566 ด้วย สำหรับเพื่อนๆ พี่ๆ หรือผู้สนับสนุน รวมถึงประชาชนที่ให้ความสนใจการแข่งขันครั้งนี้ สามารถติดตามข่าวสารการแข่งขันฝีมือแรงงานอาเซียนครั้งที่ 13 ผ่านเพจเฟซบุ๊กของกรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน และ World Skills Thailand โดยกรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงานจะนำภาพบรรยากาศมาฝากตลอดการแข่งขัน ขอให้ชาวไทยทุกคนร่วมส่งแรงใจ แรงเชียร์ให้กับน้องๆตัวแทนเยาวชนไทยให้คว้าชัยกลับมายังประเทศไทยของเราด้วย
On July 20, 2023, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, assigned the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, the Deputy Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Wannarat Srisuksai, and the Department of Skill Development’s Director-General, Ms. Bubpha Rueangsud, as the agency sending youths representatives to compete, sent off the competitors in the 13th ASEAN Skills Competition at Suvarnabhumi Airport.
The Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Boonchob Suttamanaswong, said that today, the Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin assigned a team of executives under the Ministry of Labour to send off the Thai youth representatives competing in the 13th ASEAN Skills Competition in Singapore between July 18 to July 28, 2023. The team encouraged and gave wishes for safe travels, wishing the competitors to compete to the best of their abilities. He said that everyone is the pride of Thailand. Traveling to Singapore, they will participate in the One School event on July 21, 2023. The opening ceremony will be on July 22, 2023, and the competition will take place on July 23 on 25, 2023, for three full days.
Mr. Boonchob said that although the young participants didn’t have much time to practice for this competition, everyone was committed to winning medals for Thailand. Thai competitors have brought back medals from the past three ASEAN Skills Competitions. This time, the Ministry of Labour’s Department of Skill Development is confident that the youngsters will win medals in the 13th ASEAN Skills Competition.
The Department of Skill Development’s Director-General, Ms. Bubpha Rueangsud, encouraged all the young people to do their best. Most importantly, she asked everyone to take care of their health and will go to support them on the competition days, which are July 23 to 25, 2023. Friends, family, or supporters, including the public who are interested in this competition, can follow the news of the 13th ASEAN Skills Competition through the Facebook page of the Department of Skill Development and World Skills Thailand. The Department of Skill Development will share photos of the atmosphere throughout the competition. She also asked all Thai people to send encouragement and cheer for the Thai youth representatives to bring medals back to our country.
