วันที่ 21 มิถุนายน 2566 นางเธียรรัตน์ นะวะมะวัฒน์ โฆษกกระทรวงแรงงาน (ฝ่ายการเมือง) เยี่ยมชมศูนย์ทอผ้าพื้นเมืองบ้านสันหลวงใต้ ตำบลจอมสวรรค์ อำเภอแม่จัน จังหวัดเชียงราย โดยมี นางสุนา ตาฟู ผู้ก่อตั้งกลุ่มฯ และสมาชิกกลุ่มให้การต้อนรับ
นางเธียรรัตน์ฯ กล่าวว่า ท่านสุชาติ ชมกลิ่น รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน ได้เล็งเห็นถึงความสำคัญของแรงงานงานทุกกลุ่ม และปัจจุบันประเทศไทยกำลังก้าวสู่สังคมผู้สูงอายุ จึงได้มอบหมายให้กระทรวงแรงงานโดยกรมการจัดหางานเข้ามาสนับสนุนด้วยการฝึกอบรมส่งเสริมผู้รับงานไปทำที่บ้านด้านการขายตลาดออนไลน์ตามโครงการเตรียมความพร้อมแก่กำลังแรงงานกิจกรรม เพิ่มอาชีพ เพิ่มรายได้ให้กับสมาชิกกลุ่ม ซึ่งได้ยื่นขอจดทะเบียนเป็นกลุ่มผู้รับงานไปทำที่บ้านกับสำนักงานจัดหางานจังหวัดเชียงรายเมื่อปี 2546 และได้รับการสนับสนุนเรื่อยมาทั้งด้านการอบรมต่าง ๆ และการเยี่ยมเยียนสนับสนุนผลิตภัณฑ์ผ้าจากทางกลุ่ม
สำหรับกลุ่มทอผ้าพื้นเมืองบ้านสันหลวงใต้ มีจำนวนสมาชิกจดทะเบียนกับกรมการจัดหางาน 37 คน มีสมาชิกก่อคั้งครั้งแรก 167 คน และปัจจุบันมีสมาชิกจำนวน 167 คน ผลิตภัณฑ์ของกลุ่ม เช่น ผ้าถุง ผ้าคลุมไหล่ ผ้าปูโต๊ะ ผ้าม่าน ผ้าทอพื้นเมือง เป็นต้น มีช่องทางจำหน่ายสินค้าผ่านการออกบูธจำหน่ายในงานแสดงสินค้าของภาครัฐ เอกชน และตลาดออนไลน์ในเพจเฟสบุ๊คของกลุ่มด้วย
“ถือว่าเป็นอีกหนึ่งกลุ่มอาชีพที่เข้มแข็ง โดยสามารถนำความรู้จากภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นมาทำเป็นอาชีพเสริมช่วยสร้างรายได้ มาจุนเจือครอบครัวได้อีกด้วย” นางเธียรรัตน์ฯ กล่าวทิ้งท้าย
On June 21, 2023, the Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson (on politics), Mrs. Thienrat Nawamawat, visited the Ban San Luang Tai Weaving Center in Chom Sawan Subdistrict, Mae Chan District, Chiang Rai Province. The founder of the group, Mrs. Suna Tafu, and the group members gave a welcome.
Mrs. Thienrat said that the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin recognizes the importance of all groups of workers. Now, Thailand is stepping into an aging society. Therefore has assigned the Ministry of Labour’s Department of Employment to support with training and promotion of homeworkers in online market sales, following the project to prepare for the workforce. It also supports activities to promote careers and increase income. The group members registered as a group of homeworkers with the Chiang Rai Provincial Employment Office in 2003 and have received continuous support in various training and visits to support fabric products from the group.
The Ban San Luang Tai local weaving group has 37 registered members with the Department of Employment, with 167 first-established members. Currently, there are 167 members. They sell products in booths in public and private exhibitions and on online markets on the group’s Facebook page.
“It is considered another strong occupational group. They can bring knowledge from local wisdom to make a supplementary career that helps generate income to support their family,” concluded Mrs. Thienrat.
