วันที่ 10 มีนาคม 2566 นายสุชาติ ชมกลิ่น รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน ร่วมคณะของ พล.อ.ประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา นายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงกลาโหม ลงพื้นที่จังหวัดฉะเชิงเทรา เพื่อร่วมพิธีเปิดป้ายสวนสาธารณะเฉลิมพระเกียรติ เนื่องในโอกาสมหามงคลพระราชพิธีบรมราชาภิเษก พ.ศ. 2562 องค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดฉะเชิงเทรา โดยมี นายขจรเกียรติ รักพานิชมณี ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดฉะเชิงเทรา ผู้บริหารระดับสูงกระทรวงแรงงาน หัวหน้าส่วนราชการหน่วยงานในสังกัดกระทรวงแรงงาน อาสาสมัครแรงงาน จ.ฉะเชิงเทรา หน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องและชาวบ้านในพื้นที่ ร่วมต้อนรับ ณ สวนสาธารณะเฉลิมพระเกียรติ เนื่องในโอกาสมหามงคลพระราชพิธีบรมราชาภิเษก พ.ศ. 2562 องค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดฉะเชิงเทรา ตำบลบางแก้ว อำเภอเมืองฉะเชิงเทรา จังหวัดฉะเชิงเทรา
นายสุชาติ กล่าวว่า รัฐบาลภายใต้การนำของ พล.อ.ประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา นายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่ากากระทรวงกลาโหม ได้ให้ความสำคัญกับการส่งเสริมการประกอบอาชีพกลุ่มวิสาหกิจชุมชนให้เกิดการจ้างงานในระดับพื้นที่และพัฒนาต่อยอดเป็นผู้ประกอบการเอสเอ็มอีเพื่อให้สอดคล้องกับนโยบายรัฐบาลที่ได้ให้ความสำคัญกับแรงงานนอกระบบ เนื่องจากเป็นแรงงานกลุ่มใหญ่ที่สุดของประเทศ ที่เป็นกำลังสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจของประเทศให้สามารถแข่งขันกับนานาประเทศได้ และจากสถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดของโควิด-19 ที่คลี่คลายลงในปัจจุบัน ทำให้ภาคธุรกิจการท่องเที่ยวของไทยเริ่มฟื้นตัว โดยเฉพาะที่จังหวัดฉะเชิงเทราถือเป็นหนึ่งในจังหวัดเขตระเบียงเศรษฐกิจภาคตะวันออก หรือ อีอีซี ซึ่งในส่วนของกระทรวงแรงงานได้ให้ความสำคัญกับการเร่งส่งเสริมการประกอบอาชีพให้แก่ประชาชนในพื้นที่ต่าง ๆ เพื่อสนับสนุนให้เกิดการจ้างงาน ประชาชนมีทักษะฝีมือ มีงานทำ มีอาชีพและรายได้ที่มั่นคง
โอกาสเดียวกันนี้ รมว.สุชาติ ยังได้นำ นายกรัฐมนตรี เยี่ยมชมผลิตภัณฑ์และพบปะให้กำลังใจสมาชิกกลุ่ม “ผ้าพิมพ์ EGO Print” ซึ่งเป็นกลุ่มอาชีพที่ได้รับการฝึกเพื่อยกระดับฝีมือจากสำนักงานพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงานฉะเชิงเทรา กรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน กระทรวงแรงงาน ได้เข้าไปฝึกอบรมตามโครงการพัฒนาทักษะเฉพาะให้แก่แรงงานนอกระบบที่ถือบัตรสวัสดิการแห่งรัฐเป็นการฝึกยกระดับฝีมือหลักสูตรการออกแบบผลิตภัณฑ์ลายผ้าเพื่อการพาณิชย์ ระยะเวลาการฝึก 30 ชั่วโมง ระหว่างวันที่ 8 – 12 มีนาคม 2566 โดยระหว่างการฝึกจะมีเบี้ยเลี้ยงให้ และเมื่อฝึกจบแล้วยังได้มอบอุปกรณ์เป็นเครื่องมือทำกินให้ด้วย เพื่อสามารถนำไปต่อยอดในการประกอบอาชีพได้ทันที ทำให้ลดต้นทุน เพิ่มรายได้ให้แก่สมาชิกในกลุ่ม ซึ่งปัจจุบันมีสมาชิกจำนวน 20 คน
พล.อ.ประยุทธ์ฯ และ รัฐมนตรีฯ สุชาติ ยังได้พบปะกับหัวหน้าส่วนราชการ ตัวแทนชุมชน กลุ่มแรงงานนอกระบบ เครือข่ายผู้ประกันตน ชาวบ้านในพื้นที่ และให้กำลังใจแกนนำอาสาสมัครแรงงานระดับตำบลของจังหวัดฉะเชิงเทราที่มาร่วมต้อนรับ ซึ่งอาสาสมัครแรงงานเหล่านี้เป็นผู้เชื่อมประสานภารกิจของกระทรวงแรงงานไปสู่พื้นที่ เป็นผู้ที่มีความเสียสละอุทิศตนเพื่อส่วนรวมทำงานใกล้ชิดกับพี่น้องประชาชนในชุมชน ในการนำภารกิจประสานการให้บริการด้านแรงงานเพื่อให้ประชาชนมีงานทำ มีทักษะฝีมือ มีอาชีพ มีรายได้ ได้รับการคุ้มครองและมีหลักประกันทางสังคมที่ยั่งยืนอีกด้วย

On March 10, 2023, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, joined the delegation of the Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, General Prayuth Chan-ocha, to visit Chachoengsao Province to join the opening ceremony of the public park sign on the auspicious occasion of the Coronation Ceremony of 2019. The occasion took place at the Chachoengsao Provincial Administrative Organization, Bang Kaew Subdistrict, Mueang Chachoengsao District, Chachoengsao Province.
Mr. Suchart said that the government, under the leadership of the Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, General Prayuth Chan-ocha, gives importance to promoting occupations in community enterprises to create employment at the community level and further develop into SME businesses. The focus aligned with the government policy that emphasizes informal workers, the largest group of workers in the country and an important force in driving the country’s economic development to compete with other countries. The COVID-19 situation has improved, which has supported the recovery of the Thai tourism sector. In particular, Chachoengsao Province is one of the Eastern Economic Corridor or EEC provinces. The Ministry of Labour has focused on accelerating occupational promotion for people in various areas to support employment and skills for workers and to support people to have a career and a stable income.
On the same occasion, Labour Minister Suchart also led the Prime Minister Visit products and meet to encourage members of the “EGO Print” group, a group of professionals who have been trained to improve their skills by the Chachoengsao Skill Development Office under the Department of Skill Development, Ministry of Labour. The group started the training under the specific skill development program for informal workers who hold state welfare cards as training to improve their skills in fabric product design courses for commercial use. The training period is 30 hours between March 8 – 12, 2023. During the training, allowances will be provided. And when the training is over, participants will be given equipment to extend their careers, reduce costs, and increase income for the group, which currently has 20 members.
General Prayuth and the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, also met with heads of government agencies, community representatives, informal workers, insured persons, and local people and encouraged leaders of subdistrict labour volunteers in Chachoengsao Province who came to welcome them. Labour volunteers are responsible for coordinating the mission of the Ministry of Labour to the area. They have sacrificed themselves for the public, working closely with the people in the community in leading the mission to coordinate labour services to enable people to have jobs, skills, occupations, income, protection, and sustainable social security.
