วันที่ 28 มิถุนายน 2566 นายสุชาติ ชมกลิ่น รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน มอบหมายให้ นายพรศักดิ์ เจริญประเสริฐ ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำนายกรัฐมนตรี ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ประจำกระทรวงแรงงาน ลงพื้นที่เปิดงาน JOB EXPO KORAT 2023 โดยมี นางสาวบุณยวีร์ ไขว้พันธุ์ รองอธิบดีกรมการจัดหางาน กล่าวรายงาน และนายชรินทร์ ทองสุข รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดนครราชสีมา ให้การต้อนรับท่ามกลางแขกผู้มีเกียรติและประชาชนผู้เข้าร่วมงานจำนวนมาก ณ ศูนย์การค้าเซ็นทรัลโคราช
นายพรศักดิ์ เจริญประเสริฐ ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำนายกรัฐมนตรี ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ประจำกระทรวงแรงงาน เปิดเผยว่า ตนได้รับมอบหมายจากนายสุชาติ ชมกลิ่น รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน ลงพื้นที่เปิดงาน JOB EXPO KORAT 2023 ที่จัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 28 – 29 มิถุนายน 2566 ณ Korat Hall ชั้น 4 ศูนย์การค้าเซ็นทรัลโคราช เพื่อส่งเสริมให้ประชาชนมีอาชีพ มีงานทำ มีรายได้ สามารถเลี้ยงดูตนเองและครอบครัว รองรับความต้องการแรงงานในพื้นที่ ตามกรอบยุทธศาสตร์ชาติระยะ 20 ปี ที่มุ่งพลิกโฉมประเทศไทยสู่ “สังคมก้าวหน้า เศรษฐกิจมูลค่ายั่งยืน” โดยเร่งปรับโครงสร้างเศรษฐกิจภาคการผลิตสู่การขับเคลื่อนด้วยนวัตกรรมเพื่อการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน ตลอดห่วงโซ่อุปทาน ให้ประเทศไทยเป็นประตูการค้าการลงทุน ด้วยการกระจายอุตสาหกรรมและระบบโลจิสติกส์ที่สำคัญไปสู่ภูมิภาค เพิ่มขีดความสามรถของแรงงานไทย โดยเป้าหมายหลักสำคัญหนึ่งคือ การพัฒนาคนสำหรับโลกยุคใหม่ ให้มีทักษะความรู้ มีคุณภาพ สอดคล้องกับความต้องการของตลาดแรงงาน
“ผมขอขอบคุณ ภาคีเครือข่ายทั้งภาครัฐภาคเอกชนที่ได้ร่วมแรงร่วมใจจัดงานวันนี้ขึ้นมา เพื่อดูแลแรงงานไทยไม่ว่าจะเป็น นักเรียน นักศึกษาจบใหม่ ผู้สูงอายุ ผู้พิการ เพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตและพัฒนาทักษะแรงงาน ลงทุนพัฒนาทุนมนุษย์รองรับเศรษฐกิจใหม่ ตลอดจนดูแลระบบค่าจ้างและรายได้ สวัสดิการ สิทธิประโยชน์และความปลอดภัยในการทำงาน” นายพรศักดิ์ กล่าว
นางสาวบุณยวีร์ ไขว้พันธุ์ รองอธิบดีกรมการจัดหางาน กล่าวว่า กิจกรรมภายในงานมีการรับสมัครงานของนายจ้าง/สถานประกอบการชั้นนำในจังหวัดนครราชสีมาและจังหวัดใกล้เคียง ในรูปแบบ Onsite และ On line จำนวน 80 แห่ง ในภาคอุตสาหกรรมต่างๆ อาทิ อุตสาหกรรมการผลิต อุตสาหกรรมแปรรูปเกษตร อุตสาหกรรมเทคโนโลยีสูงในกลุ่มยานยนต์ เครื่องใช้ไฟฟ้าและอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ และอุตสาหกรรมในภาคบริการ เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้ที่สนใจได้เลือกสมัครงานที่หลากหลายในทุกช่องทาง โดยมีตำแหน่งงานว่างกว่า 40,000 อัตรา รองรับผู้จบการศึกษาใหม่ ผู้ต้องการเปลี่ยนงาน ผู้สูงอายุ และผู้พิการ นอกจากนี้ยังมีการรับสมัครงานเพื่อไปทำงานต่างประเทศ อาทิ ญี่ปุ่น อิสราเอล ไต้หวัน จำนวน 2,000 อัตรา และมีกิจกรรมหลักที่น่าสนใจ ได้แก่ กิจกรรมเทิดพระเกียรติศาสตร์พระราชาตามหลักปรัชญาเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง บริการจัดหางานแก่ผู้พิการและผู้สูงอายุ การบริการนวดผ่อนคลายและนวดฝ่าเท้าเพื่อสุขภาพโดยสมาคมคนตาบอดนครราชสีมา และการสาธิตอาชีพอิสระจากภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่นผู้สูงอายุ กิจกรรมนิทรรศการโลกอาชีพ การแสดงธุรกิจแฟรนไชส์และ Food Truck การจัดนิทรรศการและให้คำปรึกษาจากหน่วยงานในสังกัดกระทรวงแรงงาน เป็นต้น

On June 28, 2023, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, assigned the Assistant Minister from the Prime Minister’s Office performing duties for the Ministry of Labour, Mr. Pornsak Charoenprasert, to commence the Job Expo Korat 2023. The Department of Employment’s Deputy Director-General, Ms. Boonyavee Khaiphan, gave a report. The Deputy Governor of Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Mr. Charin Thongsuk, gave a welcome among distinguished guests and attendees at Central Korat.
The Assistant Minister from the Prime Minister’s Office performing duties for the Ministry of Labour, Mr. Pornsak Charoenprasert, said that he was assigned by the Labour Minister Mr. Suchart Chomklin, to commence the Job Expo Korat 2023 held between June 28 to 29, 2023 at Korat Hall, 4th floor, Central Korat. The event encourages people to have a career, a job, and earn income to support themselves and their families and the demand for labour in the area. It follows the 20-year national strategic framework that aims to transform Thailand into a “Progressive and Sustainable Society with a Value Economy” by accelerating the restructuring of the manufacturing economy to be driven by innovation for sustainable development throughout the supply chain. It aims to make Thailand a gateway for trade and investment by diversifying important industries and logistics systems in the region, enhancing the capability of Thai workers. One of the main goals is human resource development for the new world, to have the skills, knowledge, and quality in line with the needs of the labour market.
“I would like to thank the network partners, from both the government and private sectors, who have joined forces to organize today’s event. It aims to care for Thai workers, whether they are students, new graduates, the elderly, or people with disabilities, to improve the quality of life and develop labour skills. It invests in human capital development to support the new economy and take care of the wage and income system, welfare, benefits, and safety at work,” said Mr. Pornsak.
The Department of Employment’s Deputy Director-General, Ms. Boonyavee Khaiphan, said the event included recruitment activities by employers / leading enterprises in Nakhon Ratchasima and nearby provinces through onsite and online interactions. There were 80 companies in various industrial sectors, such as the manufacturing industry, the agro-processing industry, the high-tech industry in the automotive sector, the electrical appliances and electronics industry, and the service sector. It gave interested people the opportunity to choose from a variety of jobs through different channels. There were over 40,000 job vacancies to accommodate new graduates, job seekers, the elderly, and the disabled. In addition, there were also job applications for work abroad, such as in Japan, Israel, and Taiwan, in the amount of 2,000 positions. Key activities included an exhibition in honour of His Majesty the King’s Sufficiency Economy Philosophy, employment services for the disabled and the elderly, relaxing massages and foot massages for health by the Association of the Blind in Nakhon Ratchasima and demonstrations of independent occupations from the local wisdom of the elderly. The event also included a World Career Exhibition, franchise, food truck business shows, exhibitions, and consulting services from agencies under the Ministry of Labour.
