วันที่ 19 มิถุนายน 2566 นายสุชาติ ชมกลิ่น รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน มอบหมายให้ นางเธียรรัตน์ นะวะมะวัฒน์ โฆษกกระทรวงแรงงาน (ฝ่ายการเมือง) พร้อมด้วย นายสิบหมื่นชัยโพธิสินธุ์ รองอธิบดีกรมการจัดหางาน ลงพื้นที่เยี่ยมพบปะให้กำลังใจกลุ่มผลิตภัณฑ์จากไม้ตาลและกลุ่มกลึงไม้ตาล ซึ่งเป็นกลุ่มรับงานไปทำที่บ้าน โดยมี นางธิวัลรัตน์ อังกินันทน์ ส.ส.เพชรบุรีเขต 1 นางสาวอุดม อ่วมละออ จัดหางานจังหวัดเพชรบุรี นางสาวอำพร ไพเราะ ประธานกลุ่มผลิตภัณฑ์จากไม้ตาล นางสาวไพรวรรณ อ่อนยิ่ง ประธานกลุ่มกลึงไม้ตาล และสมาชิกกลุ่มให้การต้อนรับ ณ ที่ทำการกลุ่ม ต.หนองปรง อ.เขาย้อย จ.เพชรบุรี
นางเธียรรัตน์ กล่าวว่า รัฐบาลภายใต้การนำของท่าน พล.อ.ประยุทธ์ จันทร์โอชา นายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงกลาโหม และท่าน พล.อ.ประวิตร วงษ์สุวรรณ รองนายกรัฐมนตรี ซึ่งกำกับดูแลกระทรวงแรงงาน ได้ให้ความสำคัญกับการเร่งส่งเสริมการประกอบอาชีพให้แก่ประชาชนในพื้นที่ต่างๆ เพื่อสนับสนุนให้เกิดการจ้างงาน ประชาชนมีทักษะฝีมือ มีงานทำ มีอาชีพและรายได้ที่มั่นคง ในวันนี้ท่านสุชาติ ชมกลิ่น รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน จึงได้มอบหมายให้ดิฉันพร้อมด้วยรองอธิบดีกรมการจัดหางานลงพื้นที่มาเยี่ยมให้กำลังใจกลุ่มผลิตภัณฑ์จากไม้ตาลและกลุ่มกลึงไม้ตาล ที่เขาย้อย จ.เพชรบุรี ซึ่งจากการพบปะพูดคุยกับประธานกลุ่มทั้งสองกลุ่มดังกล่าว พบว่า สองกลุ่มนี้เป็นการรวมกลุ่มของคนในชุมชน แปรรูปไม้ตาลเพื่อผลิตสินค้าอุปโภค โดยกลุ่มผลิตภัณฑ์จากไม้ตาลได้จดทะเบียนเป็นกลุ่มรับงานไปทำที่บ้านกับกรมการจัดหางานเมื่อวันที่ 20 สิงหาคม 2562 ปัจจุบันมีสมาชิก 5 คน ทำเป็นอาชีพหลักมีรายได้อยู่ที่ประมาณคนละ 8,000 บาทต่อเดือน และกลุ่มกลึงไม้ตาลได้จดทะเบียนเป็นกลุ่มรับงานไปทำที่บ้านกับกรมการจัดหางานเมื่อวันที่ 3 สิงหาคม 2565 ปัจจุบันมีสมาชิก 7 คน ทำเป็นอาชีพเสริมมีรายได้อยู่ที่ประมาณคนละ 3,000 – 4,000 บาทต่อเดือน สมาชิกทำงานที่กลุ่ม และบางส่วนจะกระจายให้สมาชิกนำผลิตภัณฑ์ไปทำที่บ้านของตนเองแล้วนำมาส่งที่ทำการกลุ่ม รายได้ส่วนใหญ่มาจากรับงานและจำหน่ายผลิตภัณฑ์ส่งขายไปยังต่างประเทศ รวมทั้งขายหน้าเขาวังอำเภอเมืองเพชรบุรี การออกบูธจำหน่ายในงานแสดงสินค้าของภาครัฐ เอกชน และจำหน่ายผ่านตลาดออนไลน์
นางเธียรรัตน์ กล่าวต่อว่า ในส่วนของกระทรวงแรงงาน สำนักงานจัดหางานจังหวัดเพชรบุรี ได้เข้าไปส่งเสริมสนับสนุนการรวมกลุ่มของสมาชิกกลุ่มรับงานไปทำที่บ้านและการฝึกอบรมเพื่อพัฒนาต่อยอดเพิ่มมูลค่าผลิตภัณฑ์ เช่น การทำครก หม้อดิน กำไลข้อมือ กระโถน เพื่อเพิ่มมูลค่าผลิตภัณฑ์ เป็นต้น ฝึกอบรมและศึกษาดูงานเพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ระหว่างกลุ่มรับงานในจังหวัดเพชรบุรี ฝึกอบรมกิจกรรมส่งเสริมการรับงานไปทำที่บ้านและกฎหมาย พ.ร.บ.คุ้มครองผู้รับงานไปทำที่บ้าน การแนะนำช่องทางการตลาด การเป็นวิทยากรสาธิตอาชีพของสำนักงานจัดหางานจังหวัดเพชรบุรีอีกด้วย
On June 19, 2023, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, assigned the Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson (on politics), Mrs. Thienrat Nawamawat, and the Department of Employment’s Deputy Director-General, Mr. Sibmuenchai Phothisin, to visit the area to meet and encourage the sugar palm products group and the sugar palm turning group, which are groups that take work to do at home. Mrs. Thiwanrat Angkinan, MP for Phetchaburi District 1, Ms. Udom Uamlaor, Phetchaburi Provincial Employment Officer, Ms. Amporn Phairoh, President of the Sugar Wood Products Group, Ms. Praiwan Onying, President of Sugar Wood Turning Group and group members welcomed the delegation at the group’s office in Nong Prong Subdistrict, Khao Yoi District, Phetchaburi Province.
Mrs. Thienrat said that the government, under the leadership of the Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, General Prayuth Chan-ocha, and Deputy Prime Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan, who supervises the Ministry of Labour, has focused on promoting occupations for people in various areas to support employment and skills so that people have a career and a stable income. Therefore today, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, assigned her and the Deputy Director-General of the Department of Employment to visit the area to support the sugar palm products group and the sugar palm turning group at Khao Yoi in Phetchaburi Province. This group is formed by people in the community processing sugar palm wood to produce consumer products. The sugar palm wood product group was registered as a work-at-home group with the Department of Employment on August 20, 2019. Five members work on this as their main occupation, with an income of about 8,000 Baht per month per person. The sugar palm wood turning group was registered as a work-at-home group with the Department of Employment on August 3, 2022. Currently, seven members work part-time jobs with an income of about 3,000 – 4,000 Baht monthly. Some members work in the group, and some will be distributed to members to bring products to their homes and deliver to the group office. Most of the income comes from accepting work and selling products to be sold abroad, including selling in front of Khao Wang, Mueang Phetchaburi District, at booths in public and private exhibitions, and selling through online channels.
Mrs. Thienrat continued that the Ministry of Labour’s Provincial Labour Office in Petchburi has promoted and supported the gathering of group members to work at home and provide training to further development to increase product value, such as making mortars, clay pots, bracelets, and pots to increase product value. They have also driven training and study visits to exchange learning between job groups in Phetchaburi Province, training activities to promote work to do at home, the Home Workers Protection Act, introductions to marketing channels, and career demonstration speaker at the Phetchaburi Provincial Employment Office as well.
