เมื่อวันที่ 19 พฤษภาคม 2566 นายสุชาติ ชมกลิ่น รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน เปิดเผยถึงกรณีบริษัท ไพโอเนียร์ แมนูแฟคเจอริ่ง (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด จ.พระนครศรีอยุธยา ประกาศเลิกจ้างลูกจ้างจำนวน 411 คนว่า ในเรื่องนี้ผมมีความห่วงใยลูกจ้างทุกรายและได้สั่งการให้กรมสวัสดิการและคุ้มครองแรงงานประสานหน่วยงานในสังกัดกระทรวงแรงงานจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยาเข้าไปตรวจสอบข้อเท็จจริงและให้ความช่วยเหลือคุ้มครองดูแลสิทธิประโยชน์ทั้งด้านประกันการว่างงาน หางานใหม่ให้ทำ และความต้องการฝึกอาชีพอย่างเร่งด่วน
นายสุชาติ กล่าวต่อว่า จากรายงานการตรวจสอบข้อเท็จจริงของสำนักงานสวัสดิการและคุ้มครองแรงงานจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา พบว่า บริษัท ไพโอเนียร์ แมนูแฟคเจอริ่ง (ประเทศไทย) จำกัด มีสำนักงานตั้งอยู่ในนิคมอุตสาหกรรมโรจนะ อ.อุทัย จ.พระนครศรีอยุธยา ประกอบกิจการผลิตชิ้นส่วนและอุปกรณ์เสริมอื่นๆ สำหรับยานยนต์ มีลูกจ้างทั้งหมด 1,549 คน เลิกจ้างลูกจ้าง 411 คน สาเหตุเลิกจ้างเนื่องจากบริษัทประสบปัญหาขาดสภาพคล่องด้านวัตถุดิบขาดแคลนจากบริษัทซัพพลายเออร์ปิดตัวลง ประกอบกับสินค้าของบริษัทฯ ไม่ได้เป็นที่นิยมเหมือนในอดีต ซึ่งนายจ้างได้จ่ายค่าชดเชยและค่าจ้างแทนการบอกล่วงหน้าเป็นเช็คธนาคารให้กับลูกจ้างทุกคน และเงินค่าจ้าง ค่าวันลาพักร้อนนายจ้างจะจ่ายให้ลูกจ้างโดยการโอนเงินผ่านบัญชีธนาคารของลูกจ้างภายในวันนี้ จำนวนทั้งสิ้นประมาณ 97 ล้านบาท
นายสุชาติ กล่าวเพิ่มเติมว่า สำหรับการให้ความช่วยเหลือในส่วนของกระทรวงแรงงาน จากรายงานของสำนักงานสวัสดิการและคุ้มครองแรงงานจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา พบว่า เบื้องต้นหน่วยงานในสังกัดกระทรวงแรงงานจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยาได้เข้าไปให้ความช่วยเหลือตามภารกิจ สำนักงานสวัสดิการและคุ้มครองแรงงานจังหวัด ได้ส่งพนักงานตรวจแรงงานเข้าไปชี้แจงข้อกฎหมายและสิทธิประโยชน์ต่างๆ ตามกฎหมายคุ้มครองแรงงานให้นายจ้างรับทราบเพื่อจะสามารถปฏิบัติตามกฎหมายได้อย่างถูกต้อง สำนักงานประกันสังคมจังหวัด ชี้แจงอำนวยความสะดวกเกี่ยวกับการขอรับประโยชน์ทดแทนกรณีว่างงานจากกองทุนประกันสังคม สำนักงานจัดหางานจังหวัด ได้แจ้งตำแหน่งงานว่างให้ลูกจ้างที่ต้องการหางานใหม่ทำ และสถาบันพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน สอบถามความต้องการเกี่ยวกับการฝึกทักษะทางด้านอาชีพตามความต้องการของลูกจ้าง เป็นต้น
ทั้งนี้ กระทรวงแรงงาน ได้ให้กรมสวัสดิการและคุ้มครองแรงงานเฝ้าติดตามสถานการณ์การจ้างงานของบริษัทฯ อย่างใกล้ชิด หากมีลูกจ้างที่ได้รับผลกระทบถูกเลิกจ้างโดยไม่ได้รับค่าชดเชย ต้องการได้รับการช่วยเหลือ หรือต้องการคำปรึกษาสามารถติดต่อได้ที่สำนักงานสวัสดิการและคุ้มครองแรงงานจังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา หรือโทรสอบถามได้ที่สายด่วนกระทรวงแรงงาน 1506 กด 3 กรมสวัสดิการและคุ้มครองแรงงาน หรือโทร. 1546
On May 19, 2023, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, spoke about the case of Pioneer Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, which announced the layoff of 411 employees. Mr. Suchart added that the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Provincial Labour Protection and Welfare Office’s reported that Pioneer Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. has an office located in Rojana Industrial Estate, Uthai District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province. The company produces parts and other accessories for automobiles. There are 1,549 employees, and 411 employees have been laid off as the company’s products have lost popularity. The employer paid all employees compensation and wages in lieu of advance notice through bank checks. The employer paid wages and holiday pay to the employee by transferring money to the employee’s bank account today. The total amount is about 97 million Baht.
Mr. Suchart added that on the Ministry of Labour’s part, the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Provincial Labour Protection and Welfare Office’s reported that agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province went to help according to their missions. The Provincial Labour Protection and Welfare Office sent a Labour Inspector to clarify the law and benefits according to the labour protection laws, letting the employer know so they can comply properly. The Provincial Social Security Office has clarified the process of claiming unemployment benefits from the Social Security Fund. The Provincial Employment Office provided awareness of job vacancies for employees who want to find a new job, and the Institute of Skill Development inquired about the need for vocational skills training according to the needs of the employees.
The Ministry of Labour assigned the Department of Labour Protection and Welfare to closely monitor the company’s employment situation.
