วันที่ 16 มิถุนายน 2566 นายสุชาติ ชมกลิ่น รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน มอบหมาย ดร.สุเทพ ชิตยวงษ์ เลขานุการรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน เปิดงาน “EEC JOB EXPO 2023 คนชลได้งานตรงใจไม่ต้องมู” โดยมี นายสิบหมื่นชัย โพธิสินธุ์ รองอธิบดีกรมการจัดหางาน กล่าวรายงาน พร้อมนายนิติ วิวัฒน์วานิช รองผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดชลบุรี ให้การต้อนรับท่ามกลางประชาชนผู้เข้าร่วมงาน ณ ศรีราชา ฮอลล์ ชั้น 4 ศูนย์การค้าเซ็นทรัล ศรีราชา จังหวัดชลบุรี
ดร. สุเทพ ชิตยวงษ์ เลขานุการรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน เปิดเผยว่า กระทรวงแรงงานมุ่งมั่นพลิกโฉมแรงงานและสถานประกอบการ โดยส่งเสริมการมีงานทำ และการจ้างงานเพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิตแรงงาน ลงทุนด้านพัฒนาทุนมนุษย์ รวมทั้งการพัฒนาคนในทุกมิติ เพื่อรองรับเศรษฐกิจใหม่ของประเทศ ดูแลแรงงานนอกระบบแรงงานสูงอายุ แรงงานคนพิการ ตลอดจนบูรณาการความร่วมมือทุกภาคส่วนให้คนไทยมีรายได้ สวัสดิการสิทธิประโยชน์ และความปลอดภัยในการทำงาน ด้วยการพัฒนาและเสริมสร้างศักยภาพทรัพยากรมนุษย์ในทุกช่วงวัยให้เป็นคนดี คนเก่ง และมีคุณภาพ เป็นพลเมืองที่ดีของชาติ
“นับเป็นโอกาสอันดีที่จังหวัดชลบุรี โดยสำนักงานจัดหางานจังหวัดชลบุรี ร่วมกับหน่วยงานภาครัฐและนายจ้างสถานประกอบการภาคเอกชน บูรณาการขับเคลื่อนนโยบายตามยุทธศาสตร์ชาติ โดยการลดความเหลื่อมล้ำ สร้างโอกาสและความเสมอภาคทางสังคม โดยเตรียมตำแหน่งงาน จำนวน 14,000 อัตรา เพื่อรองรับความต้องการแรงงานในพื้นที่และประชาชนทุกกลุ่มเป้าหมายที่ต้องการมีงานทำ พร้อมเปิดโลกอาชีพให้นักเรียน นักศึกษา เห็นโลกยุคใหม่ที่ใช้ดิจิทัลในการทำงาน ใช้เทคโนโลยีและนวัตกรรมเป็นตัวขับเคลื่อนอุตสาหกรรม ทำให้ผู้ที่จะเข้าสู่ตลาดแรงงานได้เตรียมความพร้อม ในการยกระดับการพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงาน Up-skill, Re-skill, New skill ให้สอดคล้องต่อความต้องการของตลาดแรงงาน” ดร.สุเทพ กล่าว
ด้านนายสิบหมื่นชัย โพธิสินธุ์ รองอธิบดีกรมการจัดหางาน กล่าวว่า ขอเชิญชวนคนหางานและประชาชนทั่วไปเข้าร่วมงาน JOB EXPO THAILAND 2023 ภายใต้ชื่องาน“EEC JOB EXPO 2023 คนชลได้งานตรงใจไม่ต้องมู” โดยงานนี้จัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 16 – 17 มิถุนายน 2566 ตั้งแต่เวลา 10.00 – 17.00 น. ณ ศูนย์การค้าเซ็นทรัล ศรีราชา ชั้น4 ศรีราชา ฮอลล์ จังหวัดชลบุรี ภายในงานมีการรับสมัครงานจากนายจ้าง/สถานประกอบการและองค์กรชั้นนำในจังหวัดชลบุรีและจังหวัดใกล้เคียง ในทุกอุตสาหกรรมไม่ว่าจะเป็นอุตสากรรมการผลิต ภาคการบริการและการท่องเที่ยว มีนายจ้างสถานประกอบการ เข้าร่วมรับสมัครงาน 243 แห่ง แบ่งเป็นรูปแบบ Onsite จำนวน 53 แห่งและ Online จำนวน 190 แห่ง เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้ประชาชนได้สมัครงานในทุกช่องทางซึ่งมีทั้งงานประจำงานพาร์ทไทม์ งานสำหรับกลุ่มคนพิเศษ งานสำหรับผู้สูงอายุ งานสำหรับผู้พิการ และงานสำหรับนักศึกษาจบใหม่ โดยมีตำแหน่งงานว่างในประเทศกว่า12,000 อัตรา และการรับสมัครงานเพื่อไปทำงานต่างประเทศ จำนวนกว่า 2,000 อัตราอาทิ เกาหลีใต้ ญี่ปุ่น ไต้หวัน

On June 16, 2023, the Labour Minister, Mr. Suchart Chomklin, assigned the Secretariat to the Labour Minister, Dr. Suthep Chitvong, to commence the “EEC JOB EXPO 2023: Chonburi People Getting the Right Jobs” event. The Department of Employment’s Deputy Director-General, Mr. Sibmuenchai Phothisin, gave a report. The Deputy Governor of Chonburi Province, Mr. Niti Wiwatwanich, gave a welcome among people who attended the event at Sriracha Hall, 4th floor, Central Sriracha Shopping Center, Chonburi Province.
The Secretariat to the Labour Minister, Dr. Suthep Chitvong, revealed that the Ministry of Labour is committed to transforming workers and workplaces by promoting employment to improve workers’ quality of life. It is dedicated to investing in human capital development and the development of the people in all dimensions to support the country’s new economy. It aims to take care of informal workers, elderly workers, and workers with disabilities, as well as integrate cooperation from all sectors for Thai people to earn an income, welfare, benefits, and safety at work by developing and enhancing the potential of human resources of all ages to be talented and qualified citizens of the nation.
“This is a great opportunity for Chonburi Province. The Chonburi Provincial Employment Office, in collaboration with government agencies and employers from private enterprises, has worked together to drive policies according to the national strategy by reducing inequality and creating opportunity and social equality. It has prepared 14,000 positions to support the demand for labour in the area and people of all target groups who want a job. It is prepared to open up the professional world for students to experience the new world that uses digital technology in the workplace, using technology and innovation to drive industries, supporting those who will enter the labour market to prepare and raise the level of skill development through up-skilling, re-skilling, and learning new skills, in line with the needs of the labour market, “said Dr. Suthep.
The Department of Employment’s Deputy Director-General, Mr. Sibmuenchai Phothisin, invited job seekers and the general public to attend the JOB EXPO THAILAND 2023 under the name of “EEC JOB EXPO 2023: Chonburi People Getting the Right Jobs”. This event was held between June 16 and 17, 2023, from 10.00 to 17.00 hours, at the Central Sriracha Shopping Center, 4th floor, Sriracha Hall, Chonburi Province. At the event, job applications were from employers/business establishments and leading organizations in Chonburi and nearby provinces in every industry, including the manufacturing, services, and tourism sector. Two hundred and forty-three employers participated in taking job applications, divided into 53 onsite and 190 online, allowing people to apply for jobs through all channels. The event offered full-time jobs, part-time jobs, jobs for a special group of people, jobs for seniors, jobs for people with disabilities, and jobs for new graduates. There were over 12,000 domestic job vacancies and over 2,000 job applications to work abroad in countries such as South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan.
People in the South and Northeast regions who are interested can attend the JOB EXPO 2023 in Phuket between June 23 to 24, 2023, at the Central Phuket Shopping Center. For Nakhon Ratchasima Province, the event will be held between June 28 to 29, 2023, at Korat Hall, 4th floor, Central Plaza Nakhon Ratchasima.
