วันที่ 9 มีนาคม 2567 นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน ลงพื้นที่จังหวัดสตูล ตรวจเยี่ยมการจัดสวัสดิการในสถานประกอบกิจการของบริษัท วู้ดเวอร์ค จำกัด สาขาอังสุธน อ.ละงู จ.สตูล ประกอบกิจการผลิตแปรรูปไม้ยางพาราส่งออก โดยมี นายศักระ กปิลกาญจน์ ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดสตูล นายศรศักดิ์ อังสุภานิช กรรมการบริหาร บริษัท วู้ดเวอร์ค จำกัด สาขาอังสุธน หัวหน้าส่วนราชการหน่วยงานสังกัดกระทรวงแรงงานจังหวัดสตูล ร่วมให้การต้อนรับ นางโสภา เกียรตินิรชา อธิบดีกรมสวัสดิการและคุ้มครองแรงงาน พร้อมด้วยผู้บริหารระดับสูงกระทรวงแรงงาน ร่วมเป็นเกียรติ ณ บริษัท วู้ดเวอร์ค จำกัด สาขาอังสุธน อ.ละงู จ.สตูล
นายพิพัฒน์ กล่าวว่า กระทรวงแรงงานมีภารกิจที่ดูแลแรงงานอย่างครบถ้วนในทุกมิติ โดยยึดหลัก “ทักษะดี มีงานทำ หลักประกันทางสังคมเด่น เน้นขับเคลื่อนเศรษฐกิจ” การเดินทางมาเยี่ยมชมสถานประกอบการในจังหวัดสตูลในวันนี้ ผมขอขอบคุณ บริษัท วู้ดเวอร์ค จำกัด สาขาอังสุธน ที่เปิดให้เข้าเยี่ยมและนำเสนอโครงการที่เป็นประโยชน์ด้านสวัสดิการของแรงงาน และชื่นชมผู้บริหารบริษัท คณะกรรมการสวัสดิการที่ส่งเสริมภาคีเครือข่ายชุมชน อำเภอ จังหวัด และทุกภาคส่วนในการดำเนินงานด้านต่าง ๆ อย่างเช่น โครงการแรงงานพันธุ์ดีตามวิถีเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง โครงการป้องกันและแก้ไขปัญหายาเสพติด โครงการสถานประกอบกิจการต้นแบบด้านความปลอดภัย เพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพชีวิต ความปลอดภัยในการทำงาน จัดทำมาตรฐานแรงงาน พัฒนาองค์กรและบุคลากร ให้องค์ความรู้ด้านการคุ้มครองและสวัสดิการแรงงาน สร้างเสริมความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างนายจ้าง ลูกจ้าง ในสถานประกอบกิจการ เพื่อพัฒนาการทำงานที่มีคุณค่าเพิ่มความสุข เพิ่มรายได้ เพิ่มความมั่นคงในชีวิต
ด้าน นางโสภา เกียรตินิรชา อธิบดีกรมสวัสดิการและคุ้มครองแรงงาน กล่าวว่า สำหรับสถานประกอบกิจการแห่งนี้ มีลูกจ้าง 562 คน บริษัทได้เล็งเห็นความสำคัญของการสร้างคุณภาพชีวิตพนักงานที่ดีขึ้นด้วยการจัดสวัสดิการให้กับลูกจ้าง เช่น จัดตั้งศูนยเด็กเล็กก่อนวัยเรียน รับดูแลบุตรของพนักงานมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง การจัดสวัสดิการด้านที่พักโดยไม่มีการเรียกเก็บค่าใช้จ่าย สนับสนุนส่งเสริมการออกกำลังกายทำให้พนักงานมีสุขภาพแข็งแรง เข้าร่วมโครงการแรงงานพันธุ์ดีตามวิถีเศรษฐกิจพอเพียง โครงการมาตรฐานการป้องกันและแก้ไขปัญหายาเสพติดในสถานประกอบกิจการ (มยส.) และโครงการสถานประกอบกิจการต้นแบบดีเด่นด้านความปลอดภัย อาชีวอนามัย และสภาพแวดล้อมในการทำงานในการทำงานระดับจังหวัด มีการจัดทำแนวปฏิบัติการใช้แรงงานที่ดี (Good Labour Practices : GLP) ในสถานประกอบกิจการ
จากนั้น นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน เป็นประธานเปิดโครงการกระทรวงแรงงานบริการประชาชน โดยมี อาสาสมัครแรงงาน เครือข่ายแรงงานนอกระบบ เครือข่ายผู้ประกันตน กลุ่มรับงานไปทำที่บ้าน กลุ่มอาชีพอิสระที่ผ่านการฝึกอบรมจากกระทรวงแรงงาน ร่วมให้การต้อนรับ ณ ห้องประชุมอำเภอละงู
นายพิพัฒน์ กล่าวว่า กระทรวงแรงงานสนับสนุนการบูรณาการการทำงานร่วมกันของทุกหน่วยงาน เพื่อให้แรงงานได้รับการคุ้มครองตามกฎหมาย มีความเป็นอยู่ที่เหมาะสม ส่งเสริมให้ประชาชนมีงานทำ มีรายได้ มีความมั่นคงในการทำงาน มีสวัสดิการและสภาพแวดล้อมในการทำงานที่ปลอดภัย ด้วยการจัดโครงการกระทรวงแรงงานให้บริการประชาชนในวันนี้ เพื่อให้ประชาชนในจังหวัดสตูลได้เข้าถึงบริการในภารกิจทุกด้านของกระทรวงแรงงาน ด้วยความสะดวกรวดเร็วมากขึ้นในการผลิตกำลังคนให้เชื่อมโยงสอดรับกับยุทธศาสตร์ด้านการพัฒนาและเสริมสร้างศักยภาพทรัพยากรมนุษย์ โดยมุ่งเน้นการสร้างโอกาสและส่งเสริมการมีงานทำให้กับประชาชนในทุกช่วงวัย รวมถึงการพัฒนาศักยภาพของ แรงงานไทย ให้มีทักษะสูง เพื่อการมีรายได้ที่เพิ่มมากขึ้น ส่งเสริมแรงงานคุณภาพเพื่อรองรับอุตสาหกรรมและการเติบโตของเศรษฐกิจ และคุ้มครองแรงงานให้มีคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดี เพื่อให้การบริหารจัดการกำลังแรงงานบรรลุเป้าหมายสูงสุด ซึ่งนำไปสู่ความยั่งยืนของเศรษฐกิจต่อไป
โดยนายพิพัฒน์ฯ และคณะ ได้เยี่ยมบูธกิจกรรมของหน่วยงานในสังกัดกระทรวงแรงงาน อาทิ บูธแสดงผลิตภัณฑ์ของสมาชิกชมรมแรงงานนอกระบบ กิจกรรมส่งเสริมความปลอดภัยแรงงานนอกระบบ การแสดงผลิตภัณฑ์ของอาสาสมัครแรงงาน สาธิตการนวดหน้าเพื่อความงาม สาธิตการทำผ้าบาติก สาธิตการทำกาแฟ บาริสต้า กิจกรรมนัดพบแรงงาน การให้บริการรับสมัครและแนะนำสิทธิผู้ประกันตนมาตรา 40 ซึ่งบรรยากาศภายในงานต่างได้รับความสนใจจากอาสาสมัครแรงงาน เครือข่ายแรงงานนอกระบบ เครือข่ายผู้ประกันตน กลุ่มรับงานไปทำที่บ้าน กลุ่มอาชีพอิสระที่ผ่านการฝึกอบรมจากกระทรวงแรงงานที่มาร่วมงาน และพี่น้องประชาชนชาวจังหวัดสตูลที่มาร่วมงานคับคั่ง
On March 9, 2024, the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, visited Satun Province to inspect welfare arrangements at Wood Work Company Limited, Angsuthon Branch, Langu District, Satun Province. The company produces and processes rubber wood for export. The Governor of Satun Province, Mr. Sakra Kapilakhan, the Executive Director of Woodwork Company Limited, Angsuthon Branch, Mr. Sornsak Angsuphanich, heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Satun Province joined in the welcome. The Department of Labour Protection and Welfare’s Director-General, Mrs. Sopa Kieatnircha, and senior executives of the Ministry of Labour joined the occasion at Woodwork Company Limited, Angsuthon Branch, Langu District, Satun Province.
Mr. Phiphat said that the Ministry of Labour’s mission is to look after the workforce in all dimensions under the principles of “good skills, work, outstanding social security principles, and a focus on driving the economy.” In visiting the company in Satun Province today, he thanked Woodwork Company Limited, Angsuthon Branch, for facilitating the visit and presenting a project that is beneficial to the welfare of workers. He praised the company executives and Welfare Committee for promoting community network partners, districts, provinces, and all sectors in carrying out various initiatives such as the Good Labour Project following the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy, the project to prevent and solve drug problems, the Safety Model Business Establishment Project to improve the quality of life safety at work. It has enhanced labour standards, promoted organization and personnel development, provided knowledge on labour protection and welfare, and promoted good relationships between employers and employees in the business to develop valuable work, increase happiness, increase income, and increase stability in life.
The Department of Labour Protection and Welfare’s Director-General, Mrs. Sopa Kieatnircha, said that the company has 562 employees. The company has realized the importance of creating a better quality of life for employees by providing welfare to employees, such as establishing a preschool child care center to take care of employees’ children, providing accommodation benefits without charging fees, and supporting and promoting exercise to make employees healthy. It has participated in the Good Labour Project following the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy, the project for standards to prevent and solve drug issues in the workplace, and the Project for Outstanding Model Workplace on Occupational Safety, Health, and Working Environment at the provincial level. It has also promoted Good Labour Practices (GLP) in the workplace.
The Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, then chaired the opening of the Ministry of Labour’s Public Service Project. Labour volunteers, informal worker networks, insured person networks, homeworker groups, and independent professionals who the Ministry of Labour has trained joined in the welcome at the Langu District meeting room.
Mr. Phiphat said that the Ministry of Labour supports the integration and collaboration of all departments so that workers are protected by law, have a suitable living situation, and encourage people to have work, income, and stability in their work, with benefits and a safe working environment. The Ministry of Labour organized the event today to serve the people, to allow people in Satun Province to have access to services in every aspect of the Ministry of Labour’s mission, with greater convenience and speed in producing manpower, in line with the strategy for developing and strengthening human resource potential. It focuses on creating opportunities and promoting employment for people of all ages, including developing the potential of Thai workers to have better skills in order to have increased income. It promotes a quality workforce to support industry and economic growth and protect workers’ good quality of life in order to achieve the highest goals of workforce management, which leads to further sustainability of the economy.
Mr. Phiphat and the delegation visited booths from agencies under the Ministry of Labour, such as booths displaying products from informal worker groups, activities to promote the safety of informal workers, product displays from volunteer workers, demonstrations of facial massage for beauty, batik-making, and barista coffee making, and labour meeting activities The event provided recruitment services and advised the rights of insured persons under Section 40. The event received the attention of labour volunteers, informal worker networks, insured persons networks, homeworker groups, and independent professionals trained by the Ministry of Labour, and many people of Satun Province attended the event.
