วันที่ 29 มีนาคม 2567 นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน มอบหมายนายสิรภพ ดวงสอดศรี ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงแรงงาน เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดงานสร้างงาน และเส้นทางสู่อาชีพ ณ จังหวัดสงขลา โดยมี นายภุชงค์ วรศรี ประจำสำนักเลขาธิการ นายกรัฐมนตรี ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ประจำกระทรวงแรงงาน นายภูมิพัฒน์ เหมือนจันทร์ โฆษกกระทรวงแรงงาน ร่วมเป็นเกียรติในงาน นายสมชาย มรกตศรีวรรณ อธิบดีกรมการจัดหางาน กล่าวรายงาน นายสมนึก พรหมเขียว ผู้ว่าราชการจังหวัดสงขลา ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.นิวัติ แก้วประดับ อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ พร้อมด้วยหัวหน้าส่วนราชการสังกัดกระทรวงแรงงานในจังหวัดสงขลา ให้การต้อนรับ ณ ศูนย์ประชุมนานาชาติฉลองสิริราชสมบัติครบ 60 ปี มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตหาดใหญ่ จังหวัดสงขลา
นายสิรภพ ฯ เปิดเผยว่า เพื่อมุ่งสู่งาน 1 ล้านอัตรา ภายในปี 2567 ตามนโยบายท่านรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน กรมการจัดหางานเตรียมแผนเดินหน้าสู่เป้าหมายด้วย 4 กิจกรรมหลัก คือ 1.การจัดงาน JOB EXPO THAILAND 2024 มหกรรมหางานที่ยิ่งใหญ่ที่สุดในประเทศ 2.การเตรียมตำแหน่งงานว่างจากทั่วประเทศ ให้บริการประชาชนผ่านระบบออนไลน์ บนแพลตฟอร์ม “ไทยมีงานทำ” 3.การจัดนัดพบแรงงานย่อยทั่วประเทศ ใน 68 จังหวัด 10 เขตกรุงเทพมหานคร และ 4.การจัดงาน “สร้างงาน เส้นทางสู่อาชีพ” ใน 7 จังหวัดศักยภาพครอบคลุมทุกภาคทั่วประเทศไทย ได้แก่ 1.จังหวัดขอนแก่น 2.ลำปาง 3.พระนครศรีอยุธยา 4.พัทลุง 5.นครศรีธรรมราช 6.บุรีรัมย์ โดยที่ผ่านมามีผู้ให้ความสนใจการจัดงาน “สร้างงาน และเส้นทางสู่อาชีพ” ผ่านสื่อโซเชียลมีเดียมากกว่า 3 แสนคน ผู้เข้าร่วมงาน 13,309 คน ในจำนวนนี้มีผู้สมัครงานภายในงาน 2,248 คน และได้บรรจุงานทันที 1,343 คน คิดเป็นร้อยละ 59.74 และสุดท้ายครั้งที่ 7 ในจังหวัดสงขลา ศูนย์กลางการท่องเที่ยวภาคใต้ตอนล่างและเศรษฐกิจภาคใต้ ด้วยมูลค่าการค้าชายแดนสูงสุดของประเทศ แหล่งนิคมอุตสาหกรรมยางพารา และเขตเศรษฐกิจพิเศษ จึงทำให้สงขลาเป็นอีก 1 จังหวัดที่เหมาะสมอย่างยิ่งในการจัดงาน
ด้านนายสมชาย มรกตศรีวรรณ อธิบดีกรมการจัดหางาน กล่าวว่า การจัดงานในครั้งนี้ เป็นความร่วมมือระหว่างจังหวัดสงขลาโดยสำนักงานจัดหางานจังหวัดสงขลาร่วมกับมหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้ผู้ที่ต้องการหางานได้พบและสมัครงานรวมทั้งสัมภาษณ์งานกับนายจ้าง สถานประกอบการโดยตรง กิจกรรมภายในงานยังเป็นการเปิดโลกทัศน์ และจุดประกายความคิดทางอาชีพ อาทิ การบรรยาย หัวข้อ “WHAT IS THE FUTURE OF WORK” อาชีพสมัยใหม่ ยุค AI ครองเมือง นิทรรศการเรียนรู้เสมือนจริงและเส้นทางการเข้าสู่อาชีพ การให้คำปรึกษาและลงทะเบียนไปทำงานต่างประเทศ การรับสมัครงานพร้อมสัมภาษณ์งานจากนายจ้าง สถานประกอบการ บริษัทชั้นนำกว่า 80 บริษัท ตำแหน่งงานว่างกว่า 2,000 อัตรา อาทิ วิศวกรโรงงาน เจ้าหน้าที่การตลาดออนไลน์ พนักงานศูนย์กระจายสินค้า เจ้าหน้าที่ฝ่ายบุคคล พนักงานบัญชี พนักงานประจําร้าน พนักงานบริการลูกค้า พนักงานจัดเรียงสินค้า พนักงานทั่วไป เจ้าหน้าที่ธุรการ แคชเชียร์ เป็นต้น นอกจากนี้ยังมีกิจกรรมให้นักเรียน นักศึกษา วัยกําลังแรงงาน ผู้ว่างงาน ผู้ถูกเลิกจ้าง ผู้พิการที่พร้อมจะทํางาน ได้รู้จักโลกอาชีพและรับทราบแนวโน้มตลาดแรงงานในอนาคตทราบถึงความรู้ความสามารถและความถนัดของตนเอง ผ่านการทดลองปฏิบัติอาชีพอิสระจากผู้ประกอบอาชีพอิสระโดยตรง การหาไอเดียการทําธุรกิจแฟรนไชส์ ฟู๊ดทรัค

On March 29, 2024, the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, assigned the Assistant to the Labour Minister, Mr. Siraphop Duangsodsri, to preside over the opening ceremony of the Creating Jobs and Career Paths event in Songkhla Province. From the Prime Minister’s Secretariat’s Office, performing duties for the Ministry of Labour, Mr. Phuchong Worasri, and the Ministry of Labour’s Spokesperson, Mr. Phumiphat Mueanchan, also joined the occasion. The Department of Employment’s Director-General, Mr. Somchai Morakotsriwan, gave a report. The Governor of Songkhla Province, Mr. Somnuek Promkhieo, President of Prince of Songkla University, Assistant Professor Dr. Niwat Kaewpradab, and heads of government agencies under the Ministry of Labour in Songkhla Province gave a welcome at the International Convention Center celebrating the 60th anniversary of His Majesty’s accession to the throne, Prince of Songkla University, Hat Yai Campus, Songkhla Province.
Mr. Siraphop said that in an aim for 1 million jobs by 2024 following the Labour Minister’s policy, the Department of Employment has prepared a plan to move forward towards the goal with four main activities: 1. Organizing the Job Expo Thailand 2024, the biggest job fair in the country. 2. Preparing job vacancies from all over the country, providing services to the public online through Thaimeengantum” 3. Organizing small worker meetings throughout the country in 68 provinces, ten districts in Bangkok, and 4. Organizing the “Creating Jobs and Career Paths” events in seven provinces with the potential of covering every region in Thailand, including 1. Khon Kaen Province 2. Lampang 3. Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya 4. Phatthalung 5. Nakhon Si Thammarat and 6. Buriram. Over 300,000 people have shown interest in the “Creating Jobs and Career Paths” events, which 13,309 people attended, of which 2,248 people applied for jobs, and 1,343 people were immediately hired, accounting for 59.74 percent. Finally, the seventh event was hosted in Songkhla Province, the tourism center of the lower south and the southern economy, which has the highest border trade value in the nation. It has a rubber industrial estate and special economic zones, making Songkhla another province that is very suitable for hosting the event.
The Department of Employment’s Director-General, Mr. Somchai Morakotsriwan, said that the event was a collaboration between Songkhla Province by the Songkhla Provincial Employment Office and the Prince of Songkla University. It allows jobseekers an opportunity to meet, apply, and interview with employers directly. Activities within the event also opened participants’ eyes to the world, sparking thoughts about careers, such as a lecture on “What is the Future of Work,” modern careers in the AI era, virtual learning exhibitions, and career counseling. The event took registrations to work abroad, recruitment and interviews from over 80 leading companies offering over 2,000 job vacancies such as factory engineers, online marketing officers, distribution center staff, human resource officers, accounting staff, store employees, customer service staff, product sorting staff, general workers, administrative officers, and cashiers, for example. There were also activities for students, those in the workforce, the unemployed, those who have been laid off, and people with disabilities ready to work. The event provided information about the working world and future labour market trends, allowing participants to understand their knowledge, abilities, and aptitudes through freelancing practice trials directly from self-employed people and ideas for starting a food truck franchise business.
The Ministry of Labour invites job seekers, students, and the general public interested in finding work, wanting to develop their skills, and finding ideas for additional careers to join the “Creating Jobs and Career Paths@Songkhla” event on March 29 to 30, 2024, from 9.00 to 16.00 hours.
