วันที่ 12 มีนาคม 2567 เมื่อเวลา 09.00 น. (ตามเวลาท้องถิ่นของสาธารณรัฐเกาหลีใต้) นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รมว.แรงงาน พร้อมด้วย นายไพโรจน์ โชติกเสถียร ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน นายสมาสภ์ ปัทมะสุคนธ์ ผู้ตรวจราชการ กระทรวงแรงงาน ลงพื้นที่บริษัท SAMHO DEVELOPMENT CO.,LTD เป็นบริษัทวิศวกรรมก่อสร้างที่รับเหมาก่อสร้างสาธารณูปโภคหลายประเภท ซึ่งที่มาตรวจเยี่ยมเป็น สถานนี่รถไฟเมืองอินซอน ที่จะเป็นจุดเชื่อมต่อกับกรุงโซล โดยบริษัทฯ ดังกล่าว มีลูกจ้างทำงาน เป็นคนต่างชาติ 1,094 คน เป็นคนไทย 1,073 คน สูงถึง 98 เปอร์เซ็นต์ นายจ้างชอบแรงงานไทย เพราะ ขยัน ทำงานประณีต มีทักษะ เรียนรู้ไว การทำงานต้องตรงต่อเวลา โดยมี นายบุญสงค์ ทัพชัยยุทธ์ เลขาธิการ สำนักงานประกันสังคม นายสมชาย มรกตศรีวรรณ อธิบดีกรมการจัดหางาน นายนิธิพัฒน์ วัฒนสุวกุล อัครราชทูตที่ปรึกษา (ฝ่ายแรงงาน) ประจำสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงโซล ประเทศสาธารณรัฐเกาหลี ร่วมด้วย
“ในวันนี้ ผมได้หารือเกี่ยวกับโอกาส และความต้องการจ้างงานแรงงานไทยเพิ่มเติมผ่านระบบ การจ้างแรงงานต่างชาติ (EPS) โดยกระทรวงแรงงานจะมุ่งเน้นการเตรียมความพร้อมของแรงงานไทยก่อนเดินทางไปทำงาน และเน้นย้ำให้แรงงานไทยฝึกพัฒนาทักษะด้านการสื่อสารภาษาเกาหลี รวมถึงประชาสัมพันธ์ให้แรงงานไทยได้ใช้เวลาว่างจากการทำงานเข้าร่วมโครงการพัฒนาทักษะภาษาเกาหลีที่จัดทำโดย HRD Korea จากการหารือพบว่าการทำงานที่สาธารณรัฐเกาหลี นั้นมีสวัสดิการที่ดี ซึ่งแรงงานไทยที่สนใจสามารถติดต่อสมัครมาทำงานกับกรมการจัดหางานได้เลย โดยขอให้เดินทางมาทำงานอย่างถูกต้องตามกฎหมาย โดยแรงงานไทยเป็นที่ชื่นชอบของนายจ้าง เนื่องจากมีความขยัน ทำงานประณีต มีทักษะ และเรียนรู้ไว ทำงานตรงต่อเวลา อย่างไรก็ดี ขอให้แรงงานไทยทุกคนดูแลรักษาสุขภาพ อย่ายุ่งเกี่ยวกับอบายมุขต่าง ๆ ขอให้แรงงานไทยทุกคนปฏิบัติงานโดยมุ่งเน้นความปลอดภัยเป็นสำคัญ (Safety First) รวมถึง มุ่งมั่นตั้งใจทำงาน เก็บเกี่ยวประสบการณ์ เรียนรู้เทคโนโลยีต่าง ๆ เพื่อนำมาพัฒนาต่อยอด/ถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยี เมื่อเดินทางกลับมาประเทศไทย และเป็นต้นแบบให้กับแรงงานไทยรุ่นต่อ ๆ ไป ” นายพิพัฒน์ กล่าว
On March 12, 2024, at 09.00 hours (local time in the Republic of South Korea), the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Pairoj Chotikasathien, the Ministry of Labour’s Inspector-General, Mr. Samat Pattamasukon visited SamHo Development Co., Ltd. This construction engineering company contracts for the construction of many types of public utilities. The visit was to the Inseon train station, which is a connection point with Seoul. The said company has 1,094 foreign workers, comprising 1,073 Thais, accounting for up to 98 percent. Employers like Thai workers because they are diligent, do neat work, have skills, learn quickly, and deliver work on time. The Social Security Office’s Secretary-General, Mr. Boonsong Thapchaiyut, the Department of Employment’s Director-General, Mr. Somchai Morakotsriwan, and the Minister Counselor (on Labour) at the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul, Mr. Nithipat Watanasuwakul also joined the occasion.
“Today, I discussed the opportunity and the need to hire additional Thai workers through the Korean Employment Permit System (EPS). The Ministry of Labour will focus on preparing Thai workers before traveling to work and emphasize Thai workers’ training in Korean communication skills, including public relations, for Thai workers to use their free time from work to join the Korean language skills development project organized by HRD Korea. The discussion found that working in the Republic of Korea has good welfare. Interested Thai workers can apply to work with the Department of Employment by requesting that they travel to work legally. Employers favour Thai workers, as they are diligent, work meticulously, have quality skills, learn quickly, and deliver work on time. We ask all Thai workers to take care of their health, not to get involved in various vices, and to focus on safety (Safety First). In addition, we ask workers to be committed to working hard, to gather experience, and learn various technologies to further develop/transfer technology when returning to Thailand and serve as a model for the next generation of Thai workers,” said Mr. Phiphat.
