เมื่อวันที่ 9 เมษายน 2567 นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน พร้อมด้วยนายไพโรจน์ โชติกเสถียร ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน นายบุญสงค์ ทัพชัยยุทธ์ เลขาธิการสำนักงานประกันสังคม นางสาวชมพูเพ็ญ ศิริธร ผู้อำนวยการกองบริหารการลงทุน และคณะฯ เดินทางไปพบ Mr.Ryuichi Kawasaki Head of Global Asset Management Business และผู้บริหารระดับสูงของ MUFG (Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group) เพื่อร่วมรับฟังข้อมูลโอกาสการลงทุนในประเทศญี่ปุ่น จากสถาบันการเงินที่ใหญ่ที่สุดของประเทศญี่ปุ่น เพื่อนำแนวคิดด้านกลยุทธ์การลงทุนมาใช้กับสำนักงานประกันสังคมอย่างเหมาะสม สร้างเพิ่มผลตอบแทนให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุดกับผู้ประกันตน
รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน เปิดเผยถึงการเดินทางพร้อมปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน เลขาธิการสำนักงานประกันสังคม และคณะฯ ร่วมเยี่ยมชมการดำเนินงานที่เกี่ยวข้องเศรษฐกิจของประเทศญี่ปุ่นที่มีการฟื้นตัว การลงทุนของสถาบันการเงินในประเทศญี่ปุ่น พร้อมพบปะผู้บริหารระดับสูงของ MUFG (Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group) ถือเป็นสถาบันการเงินที่ใหญ่ที่สุดของญี่ปุ่นและ มีสินทรัพย์ภายใต้การจัดการเป็นอันดับ 7 ของโลก
นายพิพัฒน์ รมว.แรงงาน กล่าวต่อไปว่า ในวันนี้นับเป็นเกียรติและเป็นโอกาสอันดียิ่งที่สำนักงานประกันสังคม กระทรวงแรงงาน ได้เรียนรู้ รับฟังการบรรยายข้อมูล เรื่อง “มุมมองสภาวะเศรษฐกิจและโอกาสในการลงทุนในญี่ปุ่น” ของบริษัท MUFG และภาวะตลาดการลงทุนในประเทศญี่ปุ่น ซึ่งกำลังมีการฟื้นตัวและได้รับความสนใจจากนักลงทุนเป็นอย่างมากในช่วงที่ผ่านมา มีการจ้างงานขยายตัวมากขึ้นโดยเฉพาะจากแรงงานสตรี ควบคู่ไปกับการเติบโตของค่าจ้าง นำไปสู่เศรษฐกิจที่มีศักยภาพในการเติบโตโดยรวมที่สูงขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง
ผมหวังเป็นอย่างยิ่งว่าการบรรยายข้อมูลที่ได้รับฟังในวันนี้ จะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการดำเนินงานของสำนักงานประกันสังคม เพื่อนำไปใช้ในการวางกลยุทธ์การลงทุนที่เหมาะสม พร้อมที่จะเพิ่มผลตอบแทนการลงทุนดำเนินการเพื่อให้เกิดประโยชน์สูงสุดกับผู้ประกันตนเป็นสิ่งสำคัญ นายพิพัฒน์ กล่าวปิดท้าย
On April 9, 2024, the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Pairoj Chotiksetian, the Social Security Office’s Secretary-General, Mr. Boonsong Thapchaiyut, Director of the Investment Management Division, Ms. Chompoopen Sirithorn, and delegation, met with the Head of Global Asset Management Business, Mr. Ryuichi Kawasaki and senior executives of MUFG (Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group) to listen to information on investment opportunities from Japan’s largest financial institution, to apply investment strategy concepts to the Social Security Office appropriately, and increase returns for maximum benefit to the insured.
The Labour Minister revealed the trip with the Permanent Secretary of Labour, the Social Security Office’s Secretary-General, and the delegation, which included a visit to learn about operations related to Japan’s recovering economy and investments by financial institutions in Japan. They met with senior executives of MUFG (Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group), which is considered the largest financial institution in Japan and ranks seventh in assets under management in the world.
The Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat, continued that today was an honour and a great opportunity for the Ministry of Labour’s Social Security Office to learn about the “perspectives on economic conditions and investment opportunities in Japan” from MUFG Company and the investment market conditions in Japan which is recovering and has received a lot of attention from investors recently. There is more employment growth, especially from women workers, along with wage growth, leading to an economy with continuously higher overall growth potential.
“I sincerely hope that the lecture given today will benefit the operations of the Social Security Office. Planning appropriate investment strategies to increase investment returns and operate to provide maximum benefit to insured persons is important,” Mr. Phiphat concluded.
