เมื่อวันที่ 10 เมษายน 2567 นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน พร้อมด้วย นายไพโรจน์ โชติกเสถียร ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน นายบุญสงค์ ทัพชัยยุทธ์ เลขาธิการสำนักงานประกันสังคม นางสาวชมพูเพ็ญ ศิริธร ผู้อำนวยการกองบริหารการลงทุน และคณะฯ ได้เข้าพบบริษัท Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Holdings (SuMi TRUST) ซึ่งเป็นกลุ่มบริษัทด้านการเงินชั้นนำของประเทศญี่ปุ่น โดยมี Mr. Takehiko Iwahara Managing Executive Officer Head of Real Estate Business พร้อมคณะผู้บริหารระดับสูงให้การต้อนรับ
รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน เปิดเผยว่า ในวันนี้ผมได้เดินทางพร้อมปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน เลขาธิการสำนักงานประกันสังคม และเจ้าหน้าที่ด้านการลงทุนของสำนักงานประกันสังคม กระทรวงแรงงาน มาพบผู้บริหารของบริษัท Sumitomo Mitsui Trust ซึ่งเป็นสถาบันชั้นนำในประเทศญี่ปุ่น เพื่อรับฟังข้อมูล มุมมองภาวะตลาดการลงทุนในอสังหาริมทรัพย์ของประเทศญี่ปุ่นและเมืองโอซาก้า รวมถึงได้รับคำแนะนำเกี่ยวกับโอกาสการลงทุนในอสังหาริมทรัพย์ประเภทต่าง ๆ ในเมืองโอซาก้า พร้อมได้เยี่ยมชมอสังหาริมทรัพย์ ซึ่งปัจจุบันบริษัทเป็นหนึ่งในบริษัทจัดการกองทุนที่มีนักลงทุนให้ความไว้วางใจจำนวนมากและเป็นผู้นำในตลาด Trust Bank ที่มีสินทรัพย์ภายใต้การบริหารรวมเท่ากับ 1.9 ล้านล้านเหรียญดอลล่าร์สหรัฐ หรือประมาณ 70 ล้านล้านบาท โดยมีพนักงานกว่า 20,000 คน และจดทะเบียนอยู่ในตลาดหลักทรัพย์ของประเทศญี่ปุ่น มีสำนักงานที่ญี่ปุ่น 147 แห่ง และมีสำนักงาน 10 ประเทศทั่วโลก
นายพิพัฒน์ รมว.แรงงาน กล่าวต่อไปว่า ในวันนี้ ผมและคณะผู้บริหารสำนักงานประกันสังคม กระทรวงแรงงานได้รับฟังการบรรยายข้อมูล เรื่อง “มุมมองภาวะตลาดอสังหาริมทรัพย์ในญี่ปุ่น และนครโอซาก้า” ซึ่งจะเป็นข้อมูลที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อการพิจารณาการลงทุนในอสังหาริมทรัพย์ของกองทุนประกันสังคม และการกระจายการลงทุนมายังต่างประเทศ มีโอกาสในการสร้างผลตอบแทนที่สูง เพื่อทำให้กองทุนมีการเติบโต รองรับการดูแลลูกจ้างและผู้ประกันตนอย่างมั่นคงในอนาคต
On April 10, 2024, the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Pairoj Chotikasathien, the Social Security Office’s Secretary-General, Mr. Boonsong Thapchaiyut, the Director of the Investment Management Division, Ms. Chompoopen Sirithorn, and delegation met with Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Holdings (SuMi TRUST), a leading financial conglomerate in Japan. The delegation was welcomed by the Managing Executive Officer Head of Real Estate Business, Mr. Takehiko Iwahara, along with senior executives.
The Labour Minister said that today, he traveled with the Permanent Secretary of Labour, the Social Security Office’s Secretary-General, and investment officers of the Social Security Office under the Ministry of Labour to meet the executives of Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Company, a leading institution in Japan, to listen to perspectives on the real estate investment market in Japan and Osaka. They also gained insights into investment opportunities in various types of real estate in Osaka and paid a visit to see the real estate. Currently, the company is one of the fund management companies that many investors trust and is the leader in the trust bank market with total assets under management equal to 1.9 trillion USD or approximately 70 trillion Baht. The company employs over 20,000 people and is listed on the Japanese stock exchange. There are 147 offices in Japan and overseas offices in 10 countries around the world.
The Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat, continued that today, he and the Social Security Office’s executive team under the Ministry of Labour listened to a lecture on “The perspectives on the real estate market in Japan and Osaka City.” The information will be useful when considering the Social Security Fund’s investment in real estate and diversification of investment to foreign countries. There is an opportunity to create high returns, make funds grow, and support stable care for employees and insured persons in the future.
