วันที่ 30 ตุลาคม 2566 นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน ให้การต้อนรับ นายแสงชัย ธีรกุลวานิช ประธานสมาพันธ์เอสเอ็มอีไทย และคณะ ในโอกาสเข้าพบเพื่อแนะนำสมาพันธ์ฯ เพื่อขับเคลื่อนความร่วมมือกับกระทรวงแรงงานและรับทราบแนวทางนโยบายด้านแรงงาน โดยมี นายสิรภพ ดวงสอดศรี ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงแรงงาน นายอารี ไกรนรา เลขานุการรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน นายภุชงค์ วรศรี ประจำสำนักเลขาธิการนายกรัฐมนตรี ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ประจำกระทรวงแรงงาน พร้อมด้วย ผู้บริหารระดับสูงกระทรวงแรงงาน เข้าร่วม ณ ห้องจัตุมงคล ชั้น 6 อาคารกระทรวงแรงงาน
นายพิพัฒน์ กล่าวว่า ในวันนี้ผมขอขอบคุณท่านประธานสมาพันธ์เอสเอ็มอีไทย และคณะ ที่ได้มาเข้าพบหารือและรับทราบนโยบายด้านแรงงาน เพื่อขับเคลื่อนความร่วมมือกับกระทรวงแรงงาน โดยเฉพาะนโยบายการขึ้นค่าแรงขั้นต่ำที่จะปรับขึ้นแน่นอนภายใน 1 มกราคมที่จะถึงนี้ เป็นรายจังหวัด ซึ่งไม่ได้เท่ากันทั้งหมดตามโครงสร้างของระบบเศรษฐกิจนั้น ซึ่งสมาพันธ์ก็ไม่ขัดข้อง
ส่วนการพัฒนาผลิตบุคลากรและแรงงานของเอสเอ็มอีด้วยการยกระดับทักษะแรงงานและสร้างทักษะแรงงานโดยการ Up skill Re skill ให้สามารถรองรับอุตสาหกรรมสมัยใหม่ให้สอดคล้องกับแต่ละภูมิภาค และส่งเสริมอุตสาหกรรมท่องเที่ยวและบริการที่ยังขาดแรงงานอยู่นั้น ในส่วนนี้จะได้ให้กรมพัฒนาฝีมือแรงงานประสานความร่วมมืออย่างใกล้ชิดกับสมาคมฯ ต่อไป
ด้าน นายแสงชัย ธีรกุลวานิช ประธานสมาพันธ์เอสเอ็มอีไทย กล่าวว่า ในวันนี้สมาพันธ์เอสเอ็มอีไทย ในฐานะตัวแทนของผู้ประกอบการเอสเอ็มอีทั่วประเทศ ซึ่งปัจจุบันมีผู้ประกอบการรวมกว่า 3.2 ล้านราย จ้างงานรวมกว่า 18 ล้านราย ขอขอบคุณท่านรัฐมนตรีพิพัฒน์ฯ ที่เปิดโอกาสให้เข้าพบหารือและรับทราบนโยบายด้านแรงงาน โดยสมาพันธ์ฯ เป็นองค์กรเครือข่ายนักธุรกิจจิตอาสาเอสเอ็มอีที่มีความเข้มแข็งและเป็นกลไกหลักในการขับเคลื่อนพัฒนาเอสเอ็มอีของประเทศ ด้วยการเชื่อมโยงผู้ประกอบการเอสเอ็มอีทุกจังหวัดทั่วประเทศผ่านเครือข่ายสมาพันธ์ฯ เพื่อให้เกิดการตอบสนองนโยบายภาครัฐที่ให้การส่งเสริมสนับสนุนเอสเอ็มอี จากการรับทราบนโยบายค่าแรงขั้นต่ำ ซึ่งในส่วนนี้ผู้ประกอบการเอสเอ็มอีพร้อมสนับสนุนนโยบายดังกล่าวที่จะปรับขึ้นค่าจ้างตามโครงสร้างระบบเศรษฐกิจ ขณะเดียวกันจะประชาสัมพันธ์เพื่อเชิญชวนให้ผู้ประกอบการและลูกจ้างลงทะเบียนใช้สิทธิเลือกตั้งผู้แทนฝ่ายนายจ้างและผู้แทนฝ่ายผู้ประกันตนเป็นกรรมการในคณะกรรมการประกันสังคมในครั้งนี้ด้วย
On October 30, 2023, the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, welcomed the President of the SME Thai Network, Mr. Saengchai Teerakulwanit, and a delegation on the occasion of a meeting to introduce the Network to drive cooperation with the Ministry of Labour and receive guidance on labour policies. The Assistant to the Labour Minister, Mr. Siraphop Duangsodsri, Secretariat to the Labour Minister, Mr. Aree Krainara, from the Prime Minister’s Secretariat’s Office, performing duties for the Ministry of Labour, Mr. Phuchong Worasri, and the Ministry of Labour’s executives joined the occasion in the Chatumongkol Room, 6th floor, Ministry of Labour.
Mr. Phiphat said that today, he thanked the President of the SME Thai Network and delegation for coming to meet, discuss and learn about labour policies to drive cooperation with the Ministry of Labour, especially the policy to increase the minimum wage to be effective by January 1. Wages will be adjusted on a per-province basis. Not all are the same and will be according to the structure of the economic climate, which the Network did not object to.
Developing personnel and workers within SMEs is through upgrading and building workers’ skills by upskilling and reskilling to enable the workforce to support modern industries in line with each region. It aims to promote the tourism and service industries that still lack workers. In this part, the Department of Skill Development will continue cooperating closely with the association.
The President of the SME Thai Network, Mr. Saengchai Teerakulwanit, said that today, the SME Thai Network represented SME businesses nationwide. Currently, over 3.2 million businesses are employing over 18 million people. He thanked the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat, for providing an opportunity to meet, discuss and learn about labour policies. The Network is a strong SME volunteer business network organization and is the main mechanism for driving the development of SMEs in the country. It connects SME businesses in every province across the country to respond to government policy that promotes and supports SMEs. From acknowledging the minimum wage policy, SME businesses are ready to support the policy that will increase wages according to the economic structure. At the same time, there will be public relations to invite businesses and employees to register to exercise their rights to elect employer and insured person representatives to be members of the Social Security Committee, too.
