วันที่ 29 เมษายน 2567 เวลา 10.00 น. นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน ให้การต้อนรับ นายเทียนประสิทธิ์ ไชยภัทรานันท์ นายกสมาคมโรงแรมไทย และคณะ ในฐานะเป็นตัวแทนของภาคธุรกิจโรงแรม เข้าพบเพื่อหารือในเรื่องของผลกระทบต่อภาคอุตสาหกรรมโรงแรมทั่วประเทศ กรณีการกำหนดอัตราค่าจ้างขั้นต่ำประเภทกิจการโรงแรมระดับ 4 ดาวขึ้นไป เป็นเงินวันละ 400 บาท และให้มีผลบังคับใช้ตั้งแต่วันที่ 13 เมษายน 2567 นำร่องในเขตพื้นที่จังหวัด 10 จังหวัด ได้แก่ กรุงเทพฯ ภูเก็ต ชลบุรี เชียงใหม่ สุราษฎร์ธานี กระบี่ สงขลา พังงา ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ และระยอง โดยมี นายสิรภพ ดวงสอดศรี ผู้ช่วยรัฐมนตรีประจำกระทรวงแรงงาน นายภุชงค์ วรศรี ประจำสำนักเลขาธิการนายกรัฐมนตรี ปฏิบัติหน้าที่ประจำกระทรวงแรงงาน นายไพโรจน์ โชติกเสถียร ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน และหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้องเข้าร่วม ณ ห้องจัตุมงคล ชั้น 6 อาคารกระทรวงแรงงาน
On April 29, 2024, at 10.00 hours, the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, welcomed the President of the Thai Hotels Association, Mr. Thianprasit Chaiyaphattranan, and his delegation, as representatives of the hotel business sector met to discuss the implications of the new minimum wage rate on the hotel industry nationwide. The new wage rate of 400 Baht per day was set for 4-star hotels and above. The new wage came into effect on April 13, 2024, piloted in 10 provinces, including Bangkok, Phuket, Chonburi, Chiang Mai, Surat Thani, Krabi, Songkhla, Phang Nga, Prachuap Khiri Khan, and Rayong. Mr. Siraphob Duangsodsri, Assistant Minister of Labor, and Mr. Puchong Worasri from the Secretariat of the Prime Minister. Performing duties at the Ministry of Labor, Mr. Pairoj Chotikasathien, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Labor and related agencies, attended at Chatumongkol Room, 6th floor, Ministry of Labor building. The Assistant to the Labour Minister, Mr. Siraphop Duangsodsri, from the Prime Minister’s Secretariat’s Office, performing duties for the Ministry of Labour, Mr. Phuchong Worasri, the Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Pairoj Chotikasathien, and relevant agencies attended at the Chatumongkol Room, 6th floor, Ministry of Labour.
