วันที่ 14 เมษายน 2567 นายพิพัฒน์ รัชกิจประการ รัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงแรงงาน เปิดเผยถึงกรณี การสู้รบระหว่างอิหร่านและอิสราเอลว่า ตามที่สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเทลอาวีฟ ได้ประกาศเตือนคนไทยในอิสราเอลให้อยู่ในที่ที่ปลอดภัย เนื่องจากเกิดการโจมตีจากอิหร่าน นั้น ทันทีที่ทราบข่าวผมมีความห่วงใยต่อแรงงานไทยที่ไปทำงานอยู่ในประเทศอิสราเอล จากผลกระทบของเหตุการณ์ดังกล่าว ในส่วนของกระทรวงแรงงาน ผมจึงได้สั่งการให้อัครราชทูตที่ปรึกษา (ฝ่ายแรงงาน) ประจำสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเทลอาวีฟ ประเทศอิสราเอล เร่งตรวจสอบและดูแลแรงงานไทยอย่างใกล้ชิดทันที ซึ่งจากรายงานของนายกิตติ์ธนา ศรีสุริยะ อัครราชทูตที่ปรึกษา (ฝ่ายแรงงาน) ประจำสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเทลอาวีฟ พบว่า ขณะนี้ยังไม่มีแรงงานไทย ได้รับบาดเจ็บ หรือ เสียชีวิตจากการโจมตี จากสถานการณ์ดังกล่าวแต่อย่างใด
ด้าน นายไพโรจน์ โชติกเสถียร ปลัดกระทรวงแรงงาน กล่าวว่า ขอให้แรงงานไทยที่ทำงานอยู่ในอิสราเอลทุกคน ปฏิบัติตามมาตรการของทางการอิสราเอลอย่างเคร่งครัด ติดตามข้อมูลข่าวสารจากทางสถานทูตไทย อย่างใกล้ชิด โดยขอให้ติดตามประกาศของแต่ละท้องถิ่น หรือแจ้งข้อมูลมายังฝ่ายแรงงาน ประจำสถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเทลอาวีฟ หากต้องการขอรับความช่วยเหลือ หรือได้รับผลกระทบ เพื่อจะได้วางแผนในการให้ความช่วยเหลือต่อไป และขอให้ญาติของแรงงานไทยที่ไปทำงานในประเทศอิสราเอล อย่าเพิ่งตื่นตระหนก ขอให้มั่นใจว่า รัฐบาลไทย ทั้งสถานทูตและกระทรวงแรงงานจะให้การคุ้มครอง ดูแล อย่างดีที่สุด และจะเร่งติดตามสถานการณ์อย่างใกล้ชิด
ทั้งนี้ สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเทลอาวีฟ ได้ออกประกาศเตือนคนไทยในอิสราเอลถึงแนวปฏิบัติด้านความปลอดภัย โดยขอให้ปฏิบัติ ดังนี้ 1) ห้ามมีการชุมนุมมากกว่า 1,000 คน ในทุกพื้นที่ทั่วประเทศ และปิดสถาบันการศึกษา 2) ในพื่นที่สู้รบ ห้ามชุมนุมมากว่า 30 คน และ 3) สถานที่ทำงานเปิดได้เฉพาะที่มีห้องหลบภัย โดยรัฐบาลได้ประกาศปิดน่านฟ้าและงดเที่ยวบินทั้งหมด ตั้งแต่เวลา 00.30 น. ของวันที่ 14 เมษายน 2567 เป็นต้นไปจนกว่าจะมีประกาศเปลี่ยนแปลง

On April 14, 2024, the Labour Minister, Mr. Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn, spoke about the conflict between Iran and Israel. He said that the Royal Thai Embassy in Tel Aviv has issued a warning to Thai people in Israel to stay safe from the attack from Iran. He is concerned about Thai workers working in Israel from the impact of such events. On the Ministry of Labour’s part, he instructed the Minister Counselor (on labour) to go to the Royal Thai Embassy in Tel Aviv, Israel, to immediately expedite inspections and close supervision of Thai workers. The report by the Minister Counselor (on Labour) at the Royal Thai Embassy in Tel Aviv, Mr. Kitthana Srisuriya, stated that at this time, there were no Thai workers injured or killed in the attack.
The Permanent Secretary of Labour, Mr. Pairoj Chotikasathien, said that all Thai workers working in Israel should strictly follow the measures of the Israeli authorities and closely follow the news from the Thai Embassy, following announcements in each locality or report information to the Labour Department at the Royal Thai Embassy in Tel Aviv, or contact the Labour Department for assistance. He asked that the relatives of Thai workers working in Israel not panic just yet and to be assured that the Thai government, both the Embassy and the Ministry of Labour, will provide the utmost protection and care and will monitor the situation closely.
The Royal Thai Embassy in Tel Aviv has issued an announcement warning Thai people in Israel about safety guidelines. Please do the following: 1) Prohibit gatherings of more than 1,000 people in all areas throughout the country and close all educational institutions 2) In conflict areas, gatherings of more than 30 people are prohibited, and 3) Workplaces can only be opened with shelter rooms. The government has announced the closure of airspace and suspension of all flights from 00.30 hours on April 14, 2024 onwards, until further notice.
